Imo getting a haircut has the potential to be an absolute ritual. I knew that this facet of the hair cutting process - the spiritual facet - was super important to me. Haircuts are intimate, deep and multi-dimensional.. our hair holds energetic entanglements and all sorts of memories, our hairs express our identities, hearts, and spirits! I had a feeling Anneliese would understand based on her deep connection, and based on the knowing that she merges hairstyling and the sacred — this is a unique art. For the last several years I have had big resistance to allowing anyone to touch my hair!! I was almost done with haircuts all together. But it came time, my hair was asking for it. It needed a little love, a “cleansing”, and I knew Anneliese would get it. Anneliese is such a bright light - she creates a nurturing space and really weaves her magic into the hair cutting process - literally cutting out what no longer serves to call in new and vibrant energy. I’m so grateful for my haircut and I can feel my hair saying “thank you” too <3

Luna & Lotus is such a special place, and Anneleise is truly a gifted healer and yoga teacher in the community. I recently did a sound healing session, and felt supported and embraced throughout. I felt a deep sense of peace and ease during the session, and continued to feel that for days after our time. My nervous system felt more calm and grounded, and I felt more clarity about some challenges that I was confronting. Anneliese followed up to check in on me post session, as we processed some of what I experienced. I highly recommend her for sound healing (as well as her other offerings).

I’ve been getting my hair done by Anneliese for close to 15 years now and every single time it’s been amazing ! I went from over processed and damaged hair to healthy and shiny hair by switching to her. She did my hair for my wedding and it was stunning as well! I attended the Wednesday 7 pm Yin yoga class yesterday. Although I was not able to sit in the exact poses Anneliese offered many modifications and I was able to settle into the pose. Today my body is moving more freely! My job is mostly sedentary and it's easy to just ignore moving more. Luna & Lotus classes have made my body want to move more as it can move more freely now.

Anneliese is an amazing teacher and such a genuine kind soul, she really makes you feel supported and guided through the whole experience.

I also love that the community of people who come here are so friendly and welcoming. The Full Moon Circles with Judy and Anneliese are amazing and I am excited to try the New Moon Nidra and Sound Meditations they offer.

I joined a full moon circle led by Anneliese and Judith. Anneliese was understanding, warm, and helpful when I couldn't find my way to her studio. Her studio feels sacred and is beautiful to look at. The ceremony was chuck full of various rituals which were lovely to experience especially with other kind and caring women. The rituals ranged from tarot card pulls to journaling, chanting, yoga and more. Anneliese and Judith brought their own unique ways of healing and guiding. I highly recommend if you're into sacred spiritual places and practices.

Anneliese and her studio gave me and my daughter something special to share and helped with her confidence in the best of ways. Her knowledge and intuition drew me to her studio and her love and light made us feel at home and accepted. Anneliese was patient and calm with Bella, as she is super shy and takes her time to warm up to people and big groups, but thanks to her beautiful personality, Bella opened up faster than usual and had a great time. She’s even gone as far as asking me to become a yoga instructor herself for her friends. I have been attending the studio for several years at this point, and with each passing session I fall even more in love with yoga. Why do I love Luna and Lotus? The first time I ever walked into the studio space i thought "wow....i want to live here! this place is amazing". Luna and Lotus offers a variety of classes and workshops incorporating how to heighten your greater self. Yoga classes range from power to restorative to yin to five dollar fridays where you never know what might happen. The community there is supportive and welcoming. Full moon circles happen every month and have become a place for me to gather and imagine and express, they are an open invite every month to anyone interested. The space is located in the historic ax factory of Collinsville adding a very special vibe that can't be found anywhere else. I love this studio and I am grateful Anneliese is a power and brings healing, love, and knowledge to this realm in the lightest way possible. Hope to see you soon!
