This gym is truly one of a kind. MJ, the owner, goes above and beyond every single day to make sure we stay motivated, consistent, and on track toward our goals. I’ve been very happy with my experience over the past 2 months. As I approached age 60 with trepidation, I decided I needed to do something to get in shape. I couldn’t have picked a better place. Im partial to the StrikeFit classes. The instructors are positive, upbeat and approachable. You can participate at the level you’re at. The whole place has a wonderful sense of community and everyone is very welcoming. That I’ve lost 12 pounds is the icing on the cake.

A long overdue review. I joined MJ Fitness & Kickboxing at the end of last year. It’s been less than a year and I feel like such a big part of this most welcoming club. The owner MJ from the moment I called to inquire about his fitness facility (and everyone on his team are) is the most welcoming, educated and motivating. I don’t want to miss a day of working out and enjoy both the bootcamp and strike fit classes. The coaches are beyond amazing, as well as the staff at the front desk and all the members. This is my gym family and the best community. I am inspired to keep pushing forward, learning to make better choices and getting stronger. Participated in my first Spartan race in June together with this amazing team and they are training us/me for my next one this November! Their motto is true. #strongertogether. I can't say enough good things about MJ Fitness & Kickboxing! I first joined through the 6-week challenge and was so impressed with the results. In just six weeks, I’ve seen incredible progress—clean eating and daily exercise have even improved my concentration at work. The kickboxing sessions are my absolute favorite!
The environment here is positive and welcoming. Everyone—from the members to the staff—has great energy. MJ, the owner, always greets you with a smile and checks in to see how you’re doing. I’ve been going to this gym for a while now and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better environment. The vibe here is super friendly—everyone works at their own pace, and there’s zero judgment. I started my fitness journey with going to the gym, not knowing what to do with staying fit and losing weight so I decided to try MJ Fitness and Kickboxing. I was very nervous going since it was a lot smaller, but then I was greeted by the front desk and MJ himself along with the coaches which made it much easier. Every time you go it’s relieving to feel like “you belong” and the encouragement from your peers to push a little harder every time! I’m so happy I found a gym that I love and enjoy working out at. Give them a try and you will love working out with some of the best coaches and people!

I started at the gym a month or so ago! I’ve already seen progress and the workouts are fun and challenging. You never do the same workout twice. The coaches are really nice and motivating as well. I always leave sweaty and l always look forward to the next class! I definitely recommend coming here if you need a switch up in routine or if you need that extra push. I went from a CrossFit background to this gym and I have to say I’ve seen more progress in my short amount of time here. Also the workouts are more challenging.

I have try so many gyms in the past and i can certainly said that this is the best place to do your workout, and get the results you want. Not only is so much fun, but they make you want to work harder, every class is different and challenging. Sometimes I go twice a day because it makes me feel better about myself, and i have achieved more than I thought was possible. MJ is such a great coach, he is knowledgeable, motivated and genuinely care about everyone, he believes in me more than i believed in myself, which is what sets him apart from other trainers. I am so happy I get to be part of the family!! This place it’s awesome I recommend it to anyone who is willing to try something new. I’ve only been there for a few days, but it had made me a stronger person inside and out physically and mentally. I have joined MJ fitness for two months now and I'm enjoying the group workouts alot. It helped me boost my energy and alleviate my stressors. I would normally come to class after work which accommodates my schedule perfectly. Group classes are led by different coaches everyday, each has their own routine and style which makes it more fun because we get different cycles of workout and challenges.
Being consistent has always been the key to achieve one's goal. That being said, today I'm a step closer to meeting mine. Let's keep working!

I joined MJ Fitness just a few weeks ago after searching for quite some time to find the right fit for my needs and schedule. I am super pleased with my choice. I’ve already taken all of the afternoon/evening classes and couldn’t say enough great things about all of the coaches. They are very helpful and always take the time to explain the exercises and offer modifications so you don’t injure yourself, focusing on ensuring everyone is doing the moves properly. Everyday is a different workout and are always very challenging. And MJ is just the best! He makes coming to the gym a more enjoyable experience! His pleasant and helpful manner really makes you feel welcome and accepted. He makes it a point to greet you when you arrive and checks in with you frequently. It is clear he is devoted to seeing his clients be successful! He is probably the most responsive businessman I have come in contact with and I work in the service industry. The gym is a very large space which is always exceptionally clean and extremely organized with plenty of equipment for everyone. I really look forward to going there everyday. the trial class was awesome and really was an experience, MJ is very understanding and even thought I’m not currently able to hold a membership due to scheduling issues I would definitely love to come back in the future. the memberships including the body scan and meal plans is definitely a plus and well worth the money. everyone there is amazingly kind and very helpful. highly recommend if you’re looking to get into shape and join a community!

MJ fitness and his team are incredibly talented and supportive. The classes are fun and challenging and you have the option of personal training with one of his experienced coaches. MJ provided me with a 6 week tasty meal plan, that not only helped me loose the pounds, but also convert my fat into muscle. I feel stronger, healthier and just incredibly thankful!

I Googled "family gyms" and came across MJs studio and videos. My daughter and I signed up and have been enjoying both the kickboxing and bootcamp classes (they offer strength classes as well). MJ & his team are motivating and energetic- we have never done the same workout twice! MJ fitness is the best! I was reluctant to join because I had bad ankle injuries and was finally feeling better but I knew I had to do something to lose the weight. I joined and my attitude completely changed! It was quick fun workouts. Great trainers that were experienced and knew how to modify different injuries so you were able to still get the same great workout without worrying about getting hurt again. My goal was to lose 40lbs by my 40th birthday and I did it! I feel great and if I could go to a class everyday I would. Definitely recommend.

I moved from Maryland and one thing that was at the top of my list was finding a new kickboxing gym. I didn’t think I would be able to find anything like my old gym, but MJ fitness & kickboxing is amazing!! MJ and the entire staff are friendly and seem to truly care about your health and fitness! The boot camp and kickboxing classes are good for all levels. The coaches show modifications and challenges for each exercise, so you can have the perfect workout for your level! Not to mention the workouts are fun! This isn’t your typical gym where you get bored running on the treadmill or hitting the weights, you will never get bored doing the same routine at MJ fitness & kickboxing! The coaches have a variety of exercises and kickboxing techniques, every class is different. Also, who can say that their gym turns on LED lights to add some extra fun to the workout?! MJ fitness and kickboxing also does monthly themed boot camps with food and mimosas! We recently had a BOO camp for Halloween with a costume contest and all! You’re not just getting fit at MJ fitness and kickboxing, you’re having fun too! Come and join our fitness and kickboxing family, you won’t regret it! 10/10 Recommend! :)

It's been just about 6 weeks and we (hubby and I) are very happy with the workouts, and all the coaches / instructors. Everyone is super encouraging and supportive.
The gym is very clean during on and off COVID stages.

The community at MJ Fitness is supportive & encouraging to be around. All the coaches offer the best intense workouts & leave you feeling exhausted (in a good way obviously!) All instructors are fantastic and will help you push yourself to your full potential! MJ is great, very knowledgeable, helpful and will push you. I met MJ with the goal of preparing for very physical and intense certification that included a weekend of dragging, lifting, pushing, slamming Etc items like logs, tires, kegs and much more for hours on end. I was overweight, not conditioned and had terrible cardio. After meeting with MJ and explaining my goals he was able to get me in enough shape to not only complete the intense weekend but PASS. Needless to say MJ has me feeling in the best shape since maybe high school and has ignited my fitness bug. I have not only lost weight but sleep better, have more energy throughout the day and overall just feel better. He's not going to sell you a dream but he will definitely push you further than you thought you could go, I can't tell how many times I told myself "If I can get through an hour with MJ I can make it through this weekend". The initial goal was met but I plan on continuing to see MJ weekly. 100% recommend

I recently took a tour of this new gym/studio and was so impressed !!!! I am so excited to begin my exercise program there! What an amazing setup, clean and very well organized with a room for machines/private coaching and a 2nd huge room (each person has a 12 foot square with their own equipment & sanitizer) for the group classes. I was extremely impressed with the strict COVID compliance. I can't wait to start working out there.
