From the moment I walked in, this place had a good feel to it. As compared to other similar places, their facilities are cleaner and not dingy, membership model is sooo worth it because it includes unlimited play time and unlimited classes, the hours and timings are more suitable for working parents as well.

i love the teachers here, and the overall energy and environment of the place. they have just the right amount of engagement with the kids, they keep it casual with no pressure, no activities are forced and kids are free to play and explore as they wish.

I have had mixed experiences at other similar establishments but this location addressed all of my concerns and I will be here to stay, this place is everything I've been looking for! Especially for the colder months when playing outside is not an option I already know this place is going to be a lifesaver.

I went for my first time and being an African American woman the other parents were really rude not friendly they did not want there child to play with my 3 year old son , I was really upset with this being my first time , I said I would try again because I got the week membership, hopefully the group of moms be much nicer.As for the staff it was one young lady that was great with the kids I can tell she has been doing it for awhile she was great .

This place used to be great, when Nate was there. He was truly amazing with the kids but it has completely changed. Not a great place to go if you have kids of different ages. They are not accommodating to parents of multiples, you cannot be two places at once. What used to be a laid back and inclusive atmosphere has become hostile.

My kids are frequent guests to this place as it has a lot of different programs tailored to multiple ages. Depending on a program they might train stretching, balance or just play around - anything to dump a lot of energy from the little ones. They also offer drop offs called Parents Night Out for a reasonable price, which allows you as a parent to relax for 3 hours. I suggest calling them, as their website is not up to date and can miss programs. They also offer unlimited admission, which can be a good investment if you're ready to drive your kid here almost every day. I bought 2, so I will recommend it.

So far I'm loving this place! They have many classes throughout the day, all children's age ranges. The class we've been taking our lil one to was organized chaos... and he loved every second of it! Our child has been nanny-raised so far, so this place has been excellent for us as he doesn't have much chance to build his socializing skills. Great atmosphere, and the staff are very good at keeping the kiddos busy and engaged throughout each class. This is an excellent build-up to preschool I feel, and it gives him a chance to burn off some of that excess energy he has through the day.

The first time I arrived at MyGym I was having a rough couple of weeks of being a first time mom. I had recently moved to CT from out of state, was very overwhelmed, a little lonely, and anxious. I arrived to discover I had mixed up the days and my sons age group wasn't the current class (he's only 15 months and the kids playing were easily 5+). Nate greeted me as I realized my mistake. Mentally exhausted, I had a total breakdown and started crying, I was embarrassed, extremely anxious, & I couldn't seem to stop crying. I apologized but Nate reassured me there was no need to apologize, he got us enrolled and signed up to the next class for my sons age & more important made me feel less of the mess I clearly was. He was so kind & welcoming, I and tearing up just thinking about his level kindness during that particular time where I was struggling. The following day we returned for the correct age group, I was still embarrassed from my breakdown, Nate was there & remembered my sons name. Nate made me feel un-judged as if nothing happened at all. He is a true gem of a person & I cannot thank him enough for the kindness he showed me and my son.

We had our son's 4th birthday here and it was fantastic! The coach was great! She kept the kids engaged and active. She was able to get their attention and the kids had so much fun! We also do the classes and our son has done so much better with his gross motor skills. The facility is clean, masks are worn, and I have no concerns about COVID safety. I highly recommend My Gym, West Hartford!

My wife and I have been bringing our son here for a few months. He's currently a year and two months old. He loves it! He really has a great time every time. The instructors do a very good job and we haven't met a bad one yet. They always seem to genuinely enjoy their job playing with the kids. It's a great way to get out of the house and let your kid burn some energy, especially in the colder months.

Update: I remove two stars because we've run into multiple occasions where we have showed up to the gym only to find out it's closed because the person who is supposed to open didn't show up. Very annoying!

What a cute place for kids to play! We went for a birthday party and you cant beat the laughs and good time the kids had. Structured fun time as I call it. Kids get free play, story time, and all sotts of other games and things to keep them entertained and having fun. Staff is wonderful and you can tell they love what they do and how great they interact with the children.

Overall this place is wonderful!! The staff are great with kids and my daughter loves going to My Gym.

I did want to give an example. One day my daughter Olivia bumped her face and she started crying. One of the staff, Ashan came over to see if Olivia was okay then went and got one of their hand puppets and completely distracted her from the fact she bumped her face. Olivia started smiling immediately and forgot all about bumping her face. My wife and thought that was very nice of Ashan to do!!

My Daughter is a runner and a climber so this place is right up her alley. They do a great job interacting with the children and the tumbling apparatuses are fantastic That said...too many times they have insisted that my daughter participate in circle time (which is usually stretching and and/or puppets). Try keeping an active 2 year old child away from play equipment...it's like showing her an ice scream sundae and saying she can't eat it.

Wonderful place for youngsters, with superb staff. They are very gentle in coaching the kids through age-appropriate activities. We've taken our kids there for years. (Our youngest started going there when he first learned to walk.)

The West Hartford MyGym is also a great place to avoid the Winter cabin fever. I'd highly recommend it to any parents/ grandparents with young children. Remember to call in advance, though. They get very busy.
