I've had nothing but great experiences at NCRC! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. They really made me feel comfortable no matter my skill level. The tennis lessons here are superb! The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you improve. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful. I have been meaning to leave this review for a while now. Around 4 years ago I started tennis and found NCRC, who offered the most drop in classes, at the most convenient times for me. When I started going to NCRC I was asked to join the USTA 2.5 team which was being newly formed by Adriana. Her ability to coach players who are just starting out was amazing. I will always be grateful to her for showing me how to play more confidently. Her dedication to the team and to my growth was so appreciated. I tend not to stick to new hobbies but Adriana, and the community of NCRC made me fall in love with the sport, and now I play on two USTA leagues, and do tennis drop ins 3x a week. The pros could not be more friendly. Marcus was one of my first coaches. He keeps the clinics fast pace and fun and has great one liners (come to Sunday P120 to hear some). He also runs a non profit Six Love (highly recommend looking it up it is a great initiative). I have also done drop ins with Richard who goes above and beyond to try to get drop ins to work with your schedule. His Cardio classes are a huge hit! Lorenzo is another pro that always makes you feel welcome on the court, keeping the energy up in P120 Sunday mornings. John deserves a shout out as well for going out of his way to schedule classes around your availability, ensuring that everyone has a great time and for spending his Friday nights hosting a 105 class with Richard, just because a few of us asked for it. The class has grown from being only a few of us to having multiple courts!

It is cliche to say but you really do feel like family when you come to NCRC.

I am so grateful for the friends I have made during the classes and the social aspect that the club has.

I 100% recommend NCRC to all players whether you’re just starting out, or are a seasoned player!

NCRC is by far the best indoor tennis facility in Fairfield County bar none. The courts are in excellent condition - they are well maintained; large (with the court separators far away from the court lines, so you do not feel cramped), bright and have adequate space for placing your tennis equipment and resting. The waiting area is comfortable and the amenities including the changing facilities are top-notch. What makes the experience even more special are the staff. Mary Beth G., Jenny, Ari and David M. are welcoming, patient and extremely professional. This speaks volumes about the outstanding management of John Sabia. NCRC are lucky to have all of them. On top of that, my son participated in the Wolf Pack program run by Coach Ryan Ginley. It is a very solid program that combines both fitness, technique and strategy. The cohorts have been very friendly and the level is challenging and inspiring. I look forward to introducing many more players to the club and spending many more years here. Thank you very much.

I can’t say enough good things about this indoor tennis facility. The six courts are in excellent condition, and everything is kept spotless and well-organized. The programming is top-notch—whether it’s adult drills, private lessons, or junior tennis clinics, the coaching staff knows how to develop players of all skill levels.

My kids have been in the youth tennis programs, and I’ve been incredibly impressed with how well they’re run. The instructors are not just great players but also amazing teachers who make learning fun while building real skills. The pickleball courts are a huge bonus, and the facility has done a fantastic job incorporating this fast-growing sport into its schedule.

Nice floors for Pickleball but no dedicated courts so the lines were all over the place. Some courts were right up against the wall so there was little room to serve. The facility is very big and had great locker room and bathroom. Friendly staff

When I first joined the club I was really bad at tennis. After only one year here, my playing had gotten a lot better. The courts are in really good condition, the coaches are really nice, and the kids there are also nice. If you are looking for a good place for UTRs and USTAs this would be the place. The tournament director Brian is very motivated and organized and makes sure that the players get onto the court as fast as possible. I would highly recommend the NCRC to anyone who wants to play tennis.

As a former employee, I can not recommend it to job seekers. Low pay, long shifts, never traditional 40 hours for full time. You lose PTO when you leave. Hours are cut at a moments notice. The best thing about my time there was reconnecting with pros I had known years ago and making friend with the rest of the pros, my fellow grunt workers and the people who played there.

My private lesson was cancelled without warning due to “special Norwalk/ Stamford” program running out of this club. Bathrooms filthy —— no toilet paper and dirty. Cups next to water color all over the floor. Horrible. Unpleasant management. Choose others over local residents.

Mediocre pros. The red academy or orange academy is very basic. Too many children on courts, promise one things, deliver another. Horrible management when raised issue refused to do anything. Len walks around like an inflated peacock and refuses to work with parents on any issues. Extremely unprofessional. Stay away. I have played in clubs in NYC, Washington DC, this is the worse I ever seen. Go to Vista nicer people and still close ride from New Canaan.
