Old Saybrook Racquet Club is member-owned and open to the public. We provide four year-round indoor championship hard courts, four exceptional outdoor red clay courts, a full-service pro shop, and an experienced instructional staff. Immerse yourself in the epitome of summer luxury with our inviting pool memberships.
We offer something for every age and skill level: from toddlers to senior adults and from absolute beginner to advanced competitor. Our adult tennis programs include organized games, round robins, club tournaments, and USTA team tennis and league play. Dive into our exclusive junior tennis programs, where young talents blossom on our pristine courts. We are also one of the shoreline's premier facilities for pickleball!

Stopped in recently and was shocked by how poorly the place is run. I witnessed a member of management yelling at a patron over text messages that weren’t even sent by them—completely unprofessional and bizarre behavior.
The courts are crammed together with no divider nets, making play feel chaotic and unsafe. On top of that, the bathrooms were pretty disgusting. Apparently, the toilets can’t be flushed when people are using the showers? That’s just bad design and worse upkeep.
There are plenty of other clubs along the shoreline with better facilities and far more respectful management. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.
