I like that the Taekwondo is taught by south korean taekwondo masters so you are getting the teachings from the 'horses mouth' and not a watered down americanized version like most partial arts schools in United States.

Our daughter and son have been taking TaeKwonDo classes at Olympic Taekwondo Academy (OTA) in Simsbury for a little over a year now and they love it. They have enjoyed everything they have experienced at OTA in Simsbury from regular classes to Demo Team to the OTA tournament to participating in camp. OTA camp has become one of their favorite camps of the summer. The Masters and Instructors are all friendly, caring and attentive to the students. They all provide excellent instruction while making classes fun at the same time. Master Sunmi Jung is a talented, kind, inspiring, strong and positive role model especially for girls. She is highly accomplished and passionate about TaeKwonDo and our children are fortunate to be able to attend her school and learn from her. They have grown and learned a great deal in the time they have been attending OTA in Simsbury and under the guidance of Master Sunny and the other Masters and Instructors we are sure they will continue to grow and learn as they progress on their TaeKwonDo journey.

If you are looking for instruction for your child /children or yourself, I highly recommend Master Sunmi Jung. Not only is she exceptionally knowledgeable and dedicated to teaching Taekwondo to persons of all ages, she is a highly respected pillar in the Taekwondo community. Master Sunmi Jungβs instruction is A+ quality because of her love of Taekwondo, various degrees in Physical Education/Exercise Sciences and her experience as both a successful competitor and coach. Through these various studies and experiences she has gained an in-depth understanding of functional movement, which is crucial for anyone teaching activities involving human movement.
