Paragon Strength and Performance has been absolutely incredible for my son. He’s not only embraced an active lifestyle but genuinely looks forward to going to the gym — something I never thought I’d say! Andy and Vance have made a huge impact on him, connecting on a personal level and showing him what he’s capable of. Their encouragement and positive energy have built his confidence and motivation in and out of the gym. The atmosphere here is supportive, professional, and inspiring. Andy and the coaches at Paragon are phenomenal. Our 15 year old came in to work on strength, mobility and to gain weight. In 2 months we saw such a difference. This is the place if you’re an elite athlete looking to get to the next level. They never tried to pressure us and went at his pace. It was a positive experience and we saw the results on the field. Our son is a pitcher and his flexibility, speed and strength went up in such a short time. It was definitely noticeable. I can’t recommend this crew enough. Only wish they were located closer to us. Thanks Andy!

I cannot recommend Andy enough. I was looking for a personal trainer in the area for my mother, who had never been to a gym before. As a physician, I knew that weight training would be key to help her build muscle and strengthen her bones to prevent osteoporosis as she got older. From the first time I spoke with Andy, I knew that he would be the perfect fit from the knowledgeable way that he spoke about his work.

Seeing my mother train with him over the past year has truly been a joy. She always lights up when she talks about going to the gym and I can see the change in her confidence when she speaks about her physical fitness and strength. I’ve also worked with him personally 1:1 when I’ve come home to visit my parents and can confirm that he is an absolute pleasure to work with - professional, kind, and an educator. Facilities are also clean, new, and spacious.

When I look around the gym, something that strikes me is the range of clients Andy is able to serve - from young teenage athletes training in the off season, to friends taking group classes, to people like my mother who are looking to make fitness part of their lifestyle. I have been training with Andy at Paragon Strength & Performance since October 2024, and I couldn't be more grateful for the experience. I came in with leg and back injuries and was initially worried about whether I could build strength safely without risking further harm. Andy immediately put my mind at ease. With his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, he has an exceptional understanding of anatomy and physiology. Every time I have a question, he takes the time to explain the reasons behind each exercise and posture clearly, which is so important to me as a healthcare professional.

Andy’s attention to detail is outstanding — he gives 100% of his focus during every session to ensure that my form is correct and that I get the most benefit from the workout while protecting my body. I train twice a week, and every time I walk in, Andy greets me with a big smile and a cheerful "Hi!" that sets a positive, motivating tone for the session.

Since starting, I have felt my body getting stronger and stronger. Working out with Andy has been one of the best decisions for my health and well-being. His expertise, encouragement, and genuine care have made a huge difference in my life.

Andy is a very good trainer. I broke my leg in April and ever since I got back in June I have seen nothing but improvement. He increased my vertical jump by 8 inches in just two months. I have seen improvements in my explosiveness on the court as well as my agility.

I have been training with Andy for almost 5 years and I couldn't be happier or more excited to see his dream of opening his own facility come true. Paragon Strength and Performance is a gym that offers exceptional training where student athletes, men, and women can train without the intimidating feel of a "big box gym." The group classes feel like 1:1 training due to Andy's individualized attention towards all his clients. He patiently answers any and all questions (I've had plenty) and modifies for those that need it, all the while recognizing and encouraging our progress. He even helps with nutrition! If you are new to strength training or it's something you have done for awhile, Paragon is the place for you! The space has plenty of brand new equipment and is super clean. His paragon fit classes are programmed on a 12 week cycle to maximize results. The classes are friendly for all ages and abilities. The people who train here are welcoming and encouraging.

Paragon Fitness has been a long time coming, and the wait was worth it! The fact that so many of us followed Andy to his new location speaks volumes about the welcoming, inclusive environment he creates and his dedication to his clients.

We come for the workouts—the 12-week progression program is fantastic, even for newbies, offering structured, science-based workouts that deliver real results—but we stay for the camaraderie... and Andy’s dance moves :). Paragon’s group class members have become a family, motivating each other through every session.

Ladies and newbies, this isn’t your typical intimidating gym with big sweaty guys hogging equipment. Group classes are small, supportive, and led by the owner, who shares his knowledge and helps adapt exercises if needed due to injury or ability.

I’m so excited to see Andy’s vision come to life! The space is beautiful with state-of-the-art equipment. If you’re looking for a gym where you’ll feel accepted and find both fitness and friendship, Paragon Fitness is the place to be!

Andy and his team have a great facility and a top of the line program. Offering an open gym, group classes, and personal training he has it all. I've been working with Andy for years and have made huge progress in my personal fitness and health journey. I personally do the group classes and can say that they're very inclusive and beginner friendly. Andy is a great trainer who makes me feel comfortable and is very knowledgeable. I'm always asking questions to make sure I'm doing the exercises right and he's always there to guide me. His classes are fun and energetic while still giving me a great workout. The location is also right in the heart of Berlin and provides great access to local shops and restaurants! I have been training with Coach Andy for over five years. I first met Coach Andy when I was in eighth grade training for my upcoming tennis season. Andy provided me with amazing workouts tailored just for tennis. The workouts strengthened not only my muscles but also made me quicker in my lateral movements. Andy overall pushed me to be the best I could be but also supported me when I thought I couldn’t do it. Coach Andy is now providing me with a low carb diet and given me workouts to keep my body in shape and healthy.
