First time at this location. Very very clean. Saw a staff member wiping down the machines and doing a thorough job, not taking shortcuts in cleaning them. Went around 5:30pm on a Sunday. Small crowd, but everyone was wearing masks. Machines are spaced apart and there were many to choose from. Definitely one of the best Planet Fitness gyms I’ve been to, and I’ve visited about 10-15 locations (mostly in NYC, but also in Texas and Massachusetts). Really like this location.

Firstly I love the dedication to the customers, always changing things making sure we have the best equipment and experience. The employees have also been amazing especially the managers that work at this planet fitness deserve some extra praise, I can't believe how caring and helpful everyone is. I really like those big treadmills in back row. Those are easy to navigate and I can input my weight in manual run for accurate calories burning reading. Unfortunately they got rid of half of those and replaced with stair mills!!! Why would they do that!!!! In my humble opinion when it comes to calorie burning treadmills are top notch choice, lost 80 pounds last year THANKS TO PLANET FITNESS

Sitting outside PF writing a review because your club is closed on a week day afternoon for install of new equipment. At the very least this should be done after hours or on a Sunday and not at the expense of your customer base. Some members, myself included have a pre-gym routine that takes hours before hand with pre-workout meals/ digestion/pre-workout/ digestion again, with everything timed for optimum performance. I dont just show up and push weights therfore this was extremely inconvenient. Do better PF.

There needs to be serious mold remediation done after the constant ceiling and water coming issues are dealt with! Please inspect! This is serious. Many of us come here because the location is convenient and many of us are regulars that have come back or stayed after Cardio Express was acquired. It is hard to get a squat rack at other gyms and other equipment and this one is it. It is not okay to play with the health of your customers or your staff. Corporate please do your job, waiting till Summer, shouldn’t be a solution.

Really enjoy this place. Great option in the winter when I cannot play golf or in any inclement weather situation. I especially like the treadmills but they have a huge variation of equipment to meet your needs. Ten dollar price is now 15 I believe but that is still a steal. I don't see how you can go wrong with a membership there.

This Planet Fitness has equipment that is well maintained for safety and cleanliness. The staff are attentive and the size and selection of the equipment is large. I rarely have a hard time finding a space to get my routine in. And for those facilities having a hard time with individuals lacking gym etiquette, I find this location to be my favorite. The men’s locker room is disgusting. Only one sink works. Urinals and toilets are always broken. Yo have to stand in piss to use them. It smells like raw sewerage in the shower. It’s really in healthy. The Edge is much cleaner. I’m not a member of the Edge but I got a free day pass and tried it out.

Customer Service has become the worst at the Manchester Planet Fitness, especially in the morning time with the female employee with black curly hair. She’s absolutely rude, snotty and horrendous to deal with. She is just a terrible representation of the brand and almost everyone I talk to you in the morning time cannot stand her. The Staff does not greet anyone good morning or wish anyone a good workout or say goodbye when they leave. The staff is focused on being on their phones Instead of working. Things need to change. It’s as if the members care more about the gym than the own staff do it’s pretty sad.

Judgment free zone? More like discriminatory and harassment zone.
Robert discriminated against my two kids and kicked them out the gym for wearing crocs and slides. Robert did not mention a single word to the other people at the gym working out with crocs and slides but when my kids did it, it was a problem because they were young huh

Robert the manager came up to me and my brother telling us to leave and threatening to call the cops if we don’t just for wearing crocs and slides. The problem is there were already people wearing crocs and slides at the gym working out and my big brother pointed them out but Robert changed the subject and made us leave. While we were leaving we decided to cancel both of our memberships abecause of the discriminatory behavior we faced that night. While talking to the Manager there were also people walking into the gym with crocs on just like me and my brother but Robert decided it was only a problem when we did it and followed us to the locker room right when we got there just to tell us to leave. The manager picks on teenagers but won’t say a word to bigger and older people. It’s not fair and I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

Manager (Robert) came up to me and my brother as soon as we arrived and followed us to the locker room, claiming that we had to leave because we are wearing crocs and slides as we were walking out, I noticed other people already working out wearing slides, and crocs. I mentioned to manager that there was other people who are also wearing slides, and I complained he bothered to follow us into the locker room, but not mention anything to the people that were already there wearing crocs and slides and then we decided to cancel our membership and as we were cancelling our membership. I noticed other people walking in with the slides and crocs, but it was only a problem when me and my brother did it. It seems because we were young and teenagers

I visited the Planet Fitness in Manchester CT while I was on a personal staycation. I felt very at home in this gym. The atmosphere was great, mixed group of gym goers, the gym was clean and there was more than enough equipment where I didn’t have to wait to use. I went 2 days straight. I love this place for the fact that this place is close to my house, very clean, friendly staff, spacious location. Easy to use which ever machine you prefer to use. Above all, I love the PF APP. Instead of having PF cards (which you can lose or forget home), it is easier to have application on phone. You just walk-in, scan your phone, and you are good to go. I previously had Edge membership and before that I was a member of PF in Brooklyn NY. In both these gyms, the hardest part for me was to get the machines that I wanted to use. In Manchester PF, this is not a problem. They have enough machines for each body part, and everyone to use.

Great Gym. Great Price. Awesome staff. This place has it's typical troubles, things break, things get dirty, the paper towel may run out, BUT thats what happens when everyone loves coming here. It gets used and abused. The difference here is the staff actually tries to keep this place in tip top shape. They do a really good job of it especially when they are open almost 24/7!

The facility is always clean and in good repair with good environmental control (temperature and ventilation); locker room is big; the gym is open late during the week (24hrs.); staff are friendly and helpful; even when it's busy there are still plenty of machines/devices/weights to use for any kind of workout. I went in one day to check it out, but I noticed they do not have any Olympic bar free weight bench presses. They only have benches where you can use dumbbells and the smith machines. When I asked where they were, the staff stated the club doesn’t have them because they’re dangerous if the bar gets dropped on someone. I don’t know any club that doesn’t have Olympic bench presses.I seriously thought they were joking. That will steer MANY people that weight training to go somewhere else. That’s why you have members sign waivers, duh. No thanks!!

Great Gym … not overcrowded… if you have never been on a Hydrobed I totally recommend it. Dispatch gives you a massage with water pressure inside the bed massages from head to toe and you can adjust exactly where it massages… it’s included with the better membership and well worth the price!

I've been an on again off again member of this gym since the mid 90's. They just keep improving every time I step into the new locations. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean gum, and knowledgeable trainers. Highly recommend this gym if your new to working out or even a seasoned gym goer. Just remember it's a fitness center, not a lunk head gym.

Staff alerted me that a man was recording me working out and asked if I gave permission. I told them I did not, and they did absolutely nothing. I reported it to the district manager who “investigated” and found the guy on camera. They called and asked the guy if he was recording and of course he denied it. They told me they can’t do anything since he didn’t admit it, which makes no sense since the staff is the one who witnessed it and told me about it. That should have been proof enough. I don’t feel comfortable in this gym, they clearly don’t care about their patrons. Until gyms finally ban recording all together, I will not be back. It should be a safe space and it isn’t.

Unfair and unfit practices in this gym. First off I been harassed before by staff about my strength and size in this gym. I told staff do I have to get an attorney because your slogan says “judgment free” but yet you have a whole wall demoralizing and shaming men that are bigger than average. Secondly I was verbally attacked by four women who followed me around the gym and antagonized me. Yet staff did not do anything to defend me when I was the victim. I urged the staff check your cameras and audio. Fact find first. Then make your decision. Don’t just attack me because of gender, race, and size. I also have witnesses that stated these girls started the argument and proceeded to follow me. When all I did was simply ask a general question to the room “is anyone using the other 25lb. Dumbbell”. I was so embarrassed how the untrained staff at planet fitness handled this situation. I am an original cardio express member that became this gym. I’ve been a member here for over five years no complaints anything. I help anyone that needs help in this gym share my weights etc. I am well liked at this gym. I am seeking justice and I urge the GM AJ Marshall and staff to over turn this or do what’s fair and revoke the four girls memberships as well because I was attacked and felt extremely uncomfortable. The reason I didn’t tell staff is because I had a less similar issue when they first took over and as I complained that a girl took my weight when I went for a drink and said I don’t care I’m in a rush. I told staff and because of my gender and size the response was taken as a joke and the staff said “come on dude your complaining on a chick”. I felt helpless and frustrated and just left. I urge planet fitness to do the right thing in this matter or I will seek legal action.

So far no one has reached out to me. Neither GM AJ, planet fitness staff, owner, email, etc. I have reached out to this email referenced in this automated reply and all it stated was “resend review” to take a screenshot… I see the importance of planet fitness in dealing with these major issues. I will also go to social medias and talk about my experiences and discourage others from joining a careless club.

I had a Planet Fitness account over a year ago, ended up having to cancel my account. I went in to the gym, met with the manager and went through the process of canceling my membership. Turns out the manager never actually filled anything. And Planet Fitness has been charging my account this whole year. Was finally able to go back and rectangle my account yesterday but absolutely livid that they are not willing to refund me. No follow up.

Biggest downfall is no SAUNA

After all the science coming out on the benefits Increased metabolism, weight loss, Less muscle/joint pain, Skin health & increased muscle development after a workout etc, every gym should have one.

I’d have gave it a five stars staff very friendly never any issues
If it had Sauna it be a complete package also the competitor seem to be lacking this as well somethings wrong but looks like a lot more learning is still in the air.
