Decent PF as far as equipment goes. Agree with the comments about the rude staff. Doesn't matter to me much since it's not my home PF, thankfully. Younger, dark skinned Black guy (didn't care to get his name because of how rude he was) should find a job that doesn't require customer service.

My brother Tried to shower after a work out and someone grabbed his towel and walked out. He was forced to get out naked and wet and when he asked for help or if someone had cleaned the bathroom the employees refused to lift a finger to help or even just check the cameras to see who stole the towel he PAID FOR . Staff was unhelpful and could care less. Better protections need to be in place to avoid this and management should be ashamed for not treating this with urgency or seriousness as a human being was publicly humilated and left exposed completely nude due to the lack of staff awareness. Shame on planet fitness for blowing this off

UPDATE: I spoke with Nick who identified himself as the "manager" he refused to provide the district managers number or even an email for his corporate boss. He then refused to hear me out after asking what " over a towel? What was i supposed to do" I told him it was very important that he protect his club members and he should have looked into the situation to identify which club member had done this and to protect future club members from being humiliated and exposed while nude he then hung up on me and refused to give me any information for someone else to speak with. I would advise going against this location as you may end up naked in a locker room with no towel and all your personal belongings stolen.

Amazing Planet fitness experience with the high school membership but not even a week before it ends or school starts. I get confronted over something that had Happened over a month ago due to complications with protein milk? Weird how me and my gym partner didn’t intentionally clog the toilet with expired muscle milk we did clean it but not to the persons desire. So from not intentionally clogging the toilet over a month ago with a Protein shake I got my membership BANNED, because someone didn’t like that they had to clean the clogged toilet. I totally understand on my part but horrible experience near the end of the month of August.

I've been very satisfied with my first week working out at this gym. The service from all the receptionists at the times I'm there is excellent. They're happy people, and that brightens our day and motivates us. There's an Arab woman and a Brazilian woman who are very friendly. The guy is also very polite and kind. The gym's facilities are fantastic.

I do not recommend this gym. When you go to a gym, you're looking for health and well-being — not stress. The staff are rude, the members are inconsiderate and stay on their phones while occupying the equipment, making it impossible to finish your workout. People leave the machines dirty and don’t clean them after use. Zero education. I was overcharged, and the man just tried to convince me that I was wrong. Without a doubt, one of the worst gyms I’ve ever attended. You will get stressed out going to this place.

Overall, the gym is clean and decent. You can get a very good workout in here. However there is a young tall worker in the front who is a mess at best. He genuinely is rude and the older worker who was there alongside him Today… kinda goes with the flow, they have no idea how to operate the front desk. Makes the experience pure trash. Won’t be back

One of the smaller gyms around. Meaning they only have one of most machines and it is typically busy at all times. There are also a lot of guys who hog machines for a long time making it difficult to complete your workout. There are other larger gyms that have half the amount of machine hoggers out there and no line to use a single piece of equipment. Decent place to run in but don’t expect to get everything done in one session and plan to have to switch it up to meet your goals.

I was unable to sign my daughter in and this young worker was being very rude at the desk and called the manager like I did something wrong. Very unprofessional didn’t do their job. Some worker came much later to sign her in. PS: they need better training.

Honestly I don’t even know where to begin but I started coming to the gym this month consistently too and I always bring my niece but the last time we came the guy gave my niece a hard time about using the hydro massage machine but we worked out and what not than we came today and we made her her own account so she can use the massage bed when we are finish with no problems but no he would not let us in saying she needs ID she is under 18 so ok we give school ID he saids no he needs something that shows age saids he sees two ages one 1999 and one 2008 like how is that possible and he was so dismissive but either way she is already set up as a guest on my account with picture already done waiver already signed I don’t understand what the problem is or why we are given a hard time

This gym cares about the community! I was part of a week long youth camp doing service projects across 7 towns in the West Hartford area. We were based out of the West Hartford United Methodist Church. Our group was given permission to use the shower facilities at this gym at the end of each work day (Mon - Fri). 60 teens and adults came in staggered groups between 4 and 7 pm. What a blessing to our volunteers to be refreshed after a hard day's work serving those in need. THANK YOU Planet Fitness for saying yes to our group - you helped us complete 30 service projects and we very much enjoyed your beautiful facility and very friendly staff!

I have trying to contact them by phone and redil even spoke in person since they said I had a balance after I went there to freeze my account for surgery propuse once I went back they said I can’t open because a balance that I never use I call corporation and still two months and nothing I went to the branch for the second time to hear the same thing again we will be in contact with you I am not trying to cancel something that was put on hold but now that I was ok to go back by my MD they said I can’t because a balance that is not supposed to be there I will be waiting for them to reach out to me to complete this issue but if not I go to another gym is sad when u walk in to sign in every one want to help but when there’s an isuue u have to go true so much to get an answer this is wrong hopefully they get back to me before their 3 rd month come up. Towards the end of my work out, I observed two staff members horseplaying when I was listening to music using my earbuds. While checking to see what was going on, I saw two PF staff horse playing / playing basketball while inside the facility lol. Mind you, there are no indoor basketball courts like for example the YMCA. Makes you wonder who was managing the gym to ensure the place was safe and clean. Not good and very disappointing. Couldn’t really enjoy my workout due to the loud noises. 👎

There is a girl who turns the lights off 8 minutes before they close. Trying to kick everyone out. If she doesn’t want to work there is fine. But that’s not the way she can treat members there.

1. Bait and switch. My wife sign up base on the promised that she can have a trainer and if they don't have one she can go to another building that has it. Once she signed up they flat out told her she can not transfer to another building with a trainer.

2. Cancelling take effort. You have to hassle them or call the police to give you a report that you indeed attempted to cancel to mark the charges as fraud and reverse payments. They at first will give you the run around until next month roll over to charge you directly out of of your bank account.

3. District manager a joke. We call regarding our problem cancelling and the answer was they apologize for the run around and they can't do anything but give my wife $20 for the next time she want to come back. That doesn't cancel our membership.

4. We have to change our account number to cancel direct deposit payments of our membership because they will not cancel our membership. They probably gonna accrue the balance for collections against my wife is my guess.

If you too have a problems please do not hesitate to message me. I would like to bring this place business practice to the State AG attention. Just need enough complaint.

Signed up for this gym because it’s close to my home. Place too small and always packed when I go. Don’t really see the equipment that I need and when staff say they do have it , can’t even find it around the place. You don’t see people really cleaning after use of equipment and management is horrible cause I called 2 days in a row and still no answer! Wooow! I’m all set with ANY location.

I just started going to this one my first day was good, the next few days, this guy comes in smelling like sandalwood cologne and the whole facility smells like him, other people smell it and I have asthma, so I started wheezing, the front desk rep stated go to another Gym SMH, WOW REALLY, AND I DO WEAR A MASK THE WHOLE TIME. Other then that the gym is great.

Showed up today to purchase the black card membership and was told that the only way I could pay was with a checking account (not a credit card). There were also hidden fees. Would not recommend signing up for any membership at this gym, since they're only out to take advantage of you. The membership even lists "no commitment" but when I tried to ask how to cancel in the future, they told me there might be fees in the future after the current promotion was over. I did not sign up, since it was not clear how much I would end up paying at some point in the future.

Horrible management and Terrible staff, the manager insulted me due to Black Card billing confusion and asked me to leave and wouldn’t give me his manager number.

He literally called me out middle of massage and asked me to leave without telling me the issue.
