We love Linalynn and her studio. If you are looking for a dance studio that stresses fun, self-expression, and body awareness over competition, RVDP is it. The space is cozy. Linalynn is passionate, thoughtful, and works well with adults and kids. She builds confidence by praise and listening to student opinions about choreography while teaching them modern and ballet. Class sizes are small so students get individualized attention. My 9 yo daughter has been taking classes for 3 years and won’t go anywhere else. I took a beginning adult jazz class with no prior experience and had a blast. Would recommend RVDP to anyone to try it out.

Linalynn has been teaching the children at Montessori Circle of Friends for a number of years now. She is energetic, patient and engaging. The children love when it’s a Yoga and Movement day!

I absolutely love dancing at River Valley! I have been taking adult modern dance classes with Linalynn for about 2 years now and she is an amazing teacher. She creates a very welcoming environment and has students of all levels and has helped me grow so much as a dancer. Her classes are fun, challenging, engaging and I look forward to class every week. Highly recommend any of her classes!

A wonderful studio! I’ve been taking adult modern dance since June 2023 and the classes are so fun and constructive. Studio owner / instructor Linalynn integrates different styles with traditional movements, and every class brings something new and exciting to try, plus there’s a variety of classes depending on your interests. RVDP also cultivates a warm, supportive, and encouraging environment. I highly recommend RVDP for dancers of all levels and ages!

Amazing studio! I've been attending capoeira classes and open studio twice a week now for about 2 years and the quality of the studio and instruction is top notch. Kevin and Linalyln, the instructor and owner, respectively, are both fantastic and do an excellent job of making the classes fun while keeping them challenging.

River Valley Dance Project is a unique dance studio. First of all, it's affordable. Second, they don't lock you into having to pay all year the way some studios do. You pay for what you want. Third, they offer so many different kinds of dance including the ultra fun Capoeira, and they have Yoga too. Lastly, there's no pressure. They are very inviting, warm and encouraging. I highly recommend RVDP, you will love it..

I have had the wonderful chance to see the River Valley Dance Project perform several times. Linalynn is a master of intentional, ultra-professional dance and choreography. One of her original shows in Deep River, displaying the talent of all ages, was the most memorable dance performance that I have been to. Highly recommend this dance studio extraordinaire for the wide breadth of classes, performances, collaborations, and projects they offer. Looking forward to all of their upcoming events, and the grand opening as an official business in Deep River!
