Sala Tree Yoga has truly been a balm for my soul.
From the moment I walked in, I felt something I hadn’t felt in a long time—safety, softness, and belonging. This space has become a sanctuary for me. A place to breathe deeper, to move with intention, and to reconnect with myself.

Every single teacher brings their own magic and presence to the room—each class feels unique, thoughtful, and deeply nourishing in its own way. Whether it’s a gentle flow, a restorative practice, or something in between, I always leave feeling more grounded and more at home in my body.

Jen, the owner, has created something truly special. You can feel the heart she’s poured into this space. It’s warm, welcoming, inclusive, and rooted in genuine care for community. She leads with integrity and it shows in every detail—from the peaceful energy of the studio to the kindness of the team.

If you’ve been feeling hesitant, unsure, or like you don’t know where to begin—this is your sign. Come exactly as you are. There’s a spot waiting for you here, and I promise, it’s even better than you imagined.

Sala Tree is an absolute gem located right in the heart of Stamford. The studio space is calm, open and airy, and asks nothing of you other than to show up exactly as you are! I have been a yoga teacher for over 10 years and a student for several years longer than that, and while I enjoy every studio and every class that I have gone to since moving away from my home studio, this is the first place that has immediately felt like “home” to me. All of the instructors are knowledgeable, kind and authentic, and each offers their unique skills and experiences to craft practices that feel beautiful and sacred, as well as joyful and fun at the same time. Sala Tree is a space where you can feel safe and supported while really diving into a practice or authentic, “capital Y”, Yoga. Whether you are brand new or a lifelong practitioner, there is a place for you here!

There’s just a welcoming feeling from the moment you enter. After leaving your shoes in the front room, you walk in and there’s a private changing area to your left—very convenient if you’re coming from work—with cool wallpaper and a full length mirror. Next to that there’s a cozy living room with books and a comfy couch, scented candles for sale, etc. Spacious bathroom. And when you step into the yoga room, there’s light pouring in through the windows and lots of plants, ahh it’s an amazing feeling. They have mats, blocks, blankets, straps. Checking into class is easy on the ipad. I love it here.

I had the pleasure of attending classes at this Yoga Studio, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience!
The instructors are truly the heart and soul of Sala tree Yoga. Each one brings a unique style and energy to their classes. I particularly enjoyed the Vinyasa classes, where the teachers emphasized not just the physical aspects of yoga but also the importance of mindfulness and breath work. Their guidance helped me deepen my practice and connect with my body.

What sets Sala tree Yoga apart is their commitment to community. They offer workshops and special events that foster connection among members, from meditation to sound healing and other events. I also appreciated the small class sizes, which allowed for personalized attention and adjustments.

The studio is equipped with everything you need, from mats and props to a serene space to just sit and chill. Plus, the option to join virtual classes is a fantastic addition, making it accessible for those who prefer to practice at home.
Overall, Sala tree Yoga Studio is a hidden gem. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting your journey, this studio has something to offer everyone. I Highly recommend!

What a beautiful sanctuary right in downtown Stamford! Jen and her instructors are so welcoming and kind that you'll feel like you're part of the family as soon as you step into the studio. Yoga does wonders for the mind & body. To be able to practice it in such an open, warm space is a gift everyone's soul deserves. After your first class, you'll instantly know what I mean! Go check it out - you will be forever grateful that you did.
