We absolutely loved our time at Silk City Gymnastics. Amazing programs for my children
ages 2 and 4. Mr. Lazar and Ms. Maral are excellent instructors with the right blend of patience and discipline kids need these days. The program was an especially good outlet for my 2yr old boy who has quite a bit of energy. Unfortunately we moved out of state and are sincerely going to miss our time here.

Fantastic Gymnastics Program for Young Kids!

We’ve been bringing our daughter to Silk City Gymnastics since she was 18 months old, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! She’s now 4, and the growth we’ve seen in her confidence, skills, and love for gymnastics has been incredible.

The staff is wonderful—patient, encouraging, and truly invested in each child’s progress. It’s amazing to watch our daughter develop her strength and coordination while having so much fun.

My daughter and son have been going to Silk City for almost a year and they absolute love it. The staff are friendly, consistent, and very well trained; they teach proper techniques to build from basic to more advanced skills. Although they have many classes, they get to know their students by name. My kids leave each class happy and feeling empowered. The owners are great and have helped us when we need to make up a class or switch classes due to scheduling changes. We are enjoy Silk City and it's worth the drive to Manchester for us!

I only have absolutely wonderful things to say about Silk City Gymnastics. My twin daughters started as toddlers and both had a wonderful experience. One of my daughters was extra shy during class and they were very patient and understanding with her.

My other daughter has continued gymnastics through Silk City and I can tell you as a former gymnast myself if you want top notch coaching, including technique, form, body shapes, building muscle etc. this is the gym for you!

My daughter attended this gymnastics studio very briefly last month, and unfortunately, her experience was not a good one. She was treated very poorly by a staff member, an older lady with a European accent. This staff member was impatient and even asked if my daughter spoke English in front of the other children, which was very inappropriate and hurtful. This was her first gymnastics class, and she is naturally athletic and was so confident in herself until she met this staff member.

While the owner did gift my daughter a stuffed animal after the incident and I initially deleted my original review, I feel compelled to share our experience to help prevent any other child from facing similar treatment. Since this experience, my daughter has become tearful in any situation that involves her mimicking movements, dancing, or anything related. It has been heartbreaking to see her confidence affected in this way.

I hope this review helps to raise awareness and encourages the studio to address such issues with their staff to ensure a supportive and encouraging environment for all children.

Our family has been part of the Silk City community for many years. The owners and coaches are extremely skilled, passionate and committed to growing gymnasts that are well rounded both in and out of the gym. This goes for both competitive gymnasts and those there for fun, friendships and exercise. They also run phenomenal summer camps and programs that are open to all. I always feel that my children are in safe and caring hands when they are at Silk City. I highly recommend them!

Our daughter had the most amazing experience at Silk City. She was 3 when she started for the first time EVER and Miss Maral and Mr. Lazar were so patient but firm. They are the magic that makes these classes so special. The kids progress at an incredible rate, accomplishing full cartwheels and handstands in a few short months. Overall a beautifully run program by adults who truly care about kids muscular base as well as love of the sport. Highly recommend anyone within 30 minutes of this facility to check it out!

This was one of the worst experiences i’ve had at a gym. The coaches picked there favorite girls and the ones who were there least favorites got left out and put down. I got hurt multiple times because of girls being reckless and the coaches did nothing about it. There were 2 coaches left who ran the gym ran the office and coached. I ended up quitting with 15 other girls.

I'm not doing it to hurt the business I'm writing a honest review about my experience so other people don't have to. I don't run a business either . This gym made me lose my love for gymnastics.

Back again haven’t done gymnastics in awhile and how’s your gym doing?? still got a friend their and there’s only 10 girls on team 😂

This place was amazing for my toddlers. They and I loved it. The only reason I had to stop was due to some unexpected medical bills that my healthsharing company wouldn't reimburse. I stupidly didn't realize the 30-day refund policy, but the company graciously refunded me anyway, even though it was my mistake. I plan to come back as soon as I can.

This is beyond heart breaking to have to write this bit it needs to be done. I have a friend who had a child that is 14 months old and she has Down syndrome but her amazing parents do let that stop her from things other kids do. She has put her in swinging etc and she has always been accepted and the staff made sure she was apart of everything witch is amazing. So she was very excited to bring her here well all that excitement went out the window when she took her to her first class here they treated her baby like she was not there a child a baby they staff walked by her and didn't even pay her any attention like the other kids because of her disability and that is wrong on so many leaves smh please teach your staff to do better and teach them how to deal and Handel situations like this so that this will never happen to another child and family her mother was so devastated and cried for so long she even went back and forth with herself to sharing the story because it heart her heart and makes her cry. She knows her beautiful baby is a lil different and knows that she may get treated different but not from grown adults wow and on top of that they only refunded her for one class when she paid for wayyy more and omg if yall could shee the reply the emailed her when she called and expressed how she felt this is very dad and unprofessional on so many leave please do better.

I have been so impressed with the Saturday classes for my 7 year old. The group is large but divides into consistent small groups and works through stations. They receive a lot of personal attention. It is all very well structured, fun and improves a wide variety of skills in a short time. She is loving it! And all the teen helpers appear happy to be there and have adult involvement in the instruction times.

Our son started going to the 18 months to 3 year old class at Silk City Gymnastics right after he turned 18 months. He LOVED this class and was so fond of his teachers. We saw our son grow not only in his coordination and motor skills, but in his listening and following directions while participating as well. He would beam with pride when he was able to achieve something challenging. He made so many friends while attending classes and we truly loved the structure that was catered to his age range. If you are looking for a place for your child to get a great gymnastics experience whether it's just the basics or competitive that you're looking for, you can't go wrong with Silk City. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and put their heart and soul into all that they do. All of the coaches are very engaging and safety is a top priority. They are great at using age appropriate fun with the right amount of discipline and encouragement for individual success. There is plenty of equipment that is very well kept and the gym is always spotless. The dance classes are great too!

My girls were only there for about half a year, but I loved the gym and staff. People tried to steer me towards other gyms, but when I met Coach Lazar, I knew this was the place for us. My girls were challenged, yet never felt a negative competitive pressure and that’s important to me. As a former dancer and gymnast, I value a teacher who puts form and correct technique above all else, and we got this here. They are growing in numbers through the months and that says a lot about peoples experience here.

This was my daughters first time doing gymnastics and she suffers from muscle weakness. The staff is very friendly, will work with you and although there are a good amount of children there everyone keeps covid protocols in mind. Also I appreciated the staff giving a little more attention to my daughter since she was struggling a little bit.

My daughter attended a few sessions before Covid 19. She truly enjoyed her time and we are sad it was interrupted. The instructor was very nice and helpful. My daughter has been doing gymnastics since she was five and now is 8 yrs old. I am truly amazed as too how far she has come in such a short period of time. The school is amazing all the coaches know there stuff and they truly give there undivided attention to every student. There has been a change of ownership and the new owners are AMAZING...they work so hard with the kids. As a single mom I feel this is money well spent!! Both my girls take gymnastics, one on pre-team one in general classes. The coaches and owners are the best in the area by far!!! We also use them for ballet and Mrs Lisa is great with the kids as well. The new owners have not skipped a beat since taking over!

Several times there have been incidents where it was assumed that I didn’t have the money to pay or was told my child had to be late to class while they stood in line with me paying....I NEVER was treated like this with old management. I am a person of color. May be taking my business elsewhere.

Some of the younger teachers do seem very good with managing the children as well. Not very aware and/or attentive to kids being unkind to others and helping kids equally.
