“Approximately 4 years ago I had a few personal traumas that led to depression, over eating and less activity. I tried several other diets which were restrictive and unrealistic temporary fixes. I was at a point where I had no energy, I was bloated and feeling overall bad.
Someone I respected suggested I meet with Julie at SNH. I said yes seeing how it was a nothing to lose situation. Julie gave me so many tools to work with - creating quick and easy access to healthy snacks such as a veggie bucket, the plate method and slowing down my eating. These were great ideas but there was still something missing. I decided to take Their food inflammation test in order to take this healthy journey to the next level. It was a game changer. At a certain point in your life, you really start to notice your body changing. Menopause hit me hard and I didn’t like what I was seeing and I certainly didn’t like what I was hearing. “It’s the norm”, “just eat less”, “work harder”. I found myself at my annual physical telling my doctor how frustrated I was as a very active 55 year old, I couldn’t lose any weight and was constantly tired. Her response was simple, “Call Julie at SNH. It works. I don’t know how she does it but she does.” With that she took my phone, gave me Julie’s number and the rest was up to me.
That phone call started me on a journey of better health, wellness and fitness that is making a difference every day in my life. As a busy wife and mom of two who works a very demanding full-time job, I am the poster child of the struggle of prioritizing everyone and everything else ahead of me.
When I started this program, I was feeling very down about myself, both physically and emotionally. Weight and image have always been a struggle for me, but I was also battling constant worry about my health. The results of my recent doctor's visit and blood work were concerning, and I knew I needed a change. I had seen posts about this program on social media but never thought I could do it. One day I decided to take the leap, and I haven't looked back since.

What truly sets this program apart is the accountability and support provided by Julie, my coach. Julie exceeded my expectations with her unwavering commitment to my success. The constant motivation, confidence, and pride she instills in me are priceless, but more importantly she’s human and knows perfection isn’t reality. For the first time, I genuinely believe that I can continue making positive changes in my life, and more importantly, I want to continue doing so.
