I have been training with Dave for more than a year now and can’t say enough about how great he is. I’ve worked with a number of different trainers over the years and Dave is definitely one of the best. He is patient, consistent, motivating and very mature for his age. He pushes me when he knows I am capable, trusts me enough to listen to me when I say I can do more (or less), and is constantly mixing up the workout to keep things interesting. He starts every workout with “how are we feeling today?” Because he genuinely cares and wants to address any questions or concerns upfront. If you are looking for a great workout with someone who is consistently upbeat, motivating, and knowledgeable, give Dave a try!

My husband and I have been training with Matt for almost two months now, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. Matt has truly transformed our lives. Not only are we getting stronger and healthier, but we’re also feeling happier—there’s a clear mental health benefit, and I attribute much of that to Matt’s bright and cheerful personality.
Personally, I hadn’t exercised in over three years due to a head injury, and I’m so impressed by how much Matt’s training is supporting my recovery. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and tailors each session to my needs.
I also want to highlight how respectful and professional Matt is, especially as a woman working with a trainer. He maintains clear boundaries, which has made me feel safe and comfortable throughout our training.
If you're looking to get fit, boost your mood, and maybe even smile a little more, Matt is absolutely the trainer for you. I recommend him 100%.

If you are looking for a gym to reach your goals and get down to business, this is the place to be. Dave Moore is amazing and has a way of making you feel like you are a member of his family. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of strength training, healthy eating, motivation, and overcoming injuries. There are no excuses tolerated (won't listen about those injuries from 7th grade) and he will give you just the right amount of push needed. Highest compliment paid was when my chiropractor said he wants to hire him to do the personal training for his practice. if you are willing to put in the work then Stony Creek Athletics is your win win.

I've been going to Stony Creek Athletics since they opened and they are amazing.
I'm 75 and Dave has gotten me kn the best shape of my life. He really understands physiology and works with you to build areas needing strengthening. He has a great blend of emphases on flexibility and strength training and makes sure he is working on your goals. He pushes me to achieve my potential but never pushes too hard and has a great sense of how much and how you need to work each week. Every week he modifies the workout so it is never tedious or repetitive but returns periodically to key stretches and strength challenges so you can gauge progress. I have gotten to know and enjoy him as an individual and look forward to each of our sessions.
The gym is small so you always feel like you are getting personal attention. It is well equipped and provides opportunities for almost workouts.
I can't give them a high enough rating!

Been going to Stony Creek Athletics since they first opened the doors. Matt and Dave really did a great job with this place. Dave has been my personal trainer for a 2 years now and I couldn’t be happier with the result a. He listened to what I wanted to achieve and set up a plan with weekly goals. He held me accountable on a weekly basis and pushed me every workout. Literally would be dripping with sweat after every workout. Will continue to support Dave and Stony Creek Athletics.

Dave has been an absolutely amazing trainer for my son Benjamin. He really listens to what your goals are and does just the right amount of pushing to motivate you to get there. He really knows his stuff, is always positive and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. I started going to this gym to get my strength back after dealing with breast cancer. I’m feeling stronger and healthier than I have in a long time! I have always loved strength training, especially heavy lifting. With Matt’s guidance, I can do the heavy lifting I love, but feel totally safe and confident that I’ll stay injury-free. Matt has coached me to two powerlifting competitions so far and I’m coming up on my third this September. At 55, I feel like a superhero! Matt not only changed the course of my recovery, he changed the course of the rest of my whole life.
