About the Club

StretchLab was created to help increase flexibility, range of motion and energy in people no matter what their age, body type or fitness level! StretchLab Glastonbury offers one on one assisted stretching and group stretch classes in a fun, open and communal environment. Our one on one stretches can be 25 or 50 minutes long and we offer drop-in or monthly memberships. All of our Flexologists are highly trained and create a custom stretch routine for each member. Our innovative group stretches offer a unique way for members to reach their flexibility goals. Group stretches can be purchased individually or as a monthly membership.

I scheduled my original appointment and was charged twice. The system made two accounts. The manager said that he would look into it and refunded me one of the charges that was about three weeks after I brought it to their attention after my money was refunded about 3 1/2 weeks later my bank account was charged again for a debit correction we called. They said that they would look into it. Haven’t heard anything called them two more times the manager said that he was meeting with the vice president. They would look into it and let us know. Still haven’t heard anything. You have to leave three or four voicemails and contact them via email before anyone responds to you still not have received a refund for the second charge for services. I did not receive.

I've been meaning to go to this place for a while now but my schedule has been a little crazy. I finally made it and I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed my experience and am appreciative that there are people knowledgeable about these issues and have the desire to help others with them. If you have tension build up in your muscles, mobility issues, or flexibility issues, this place may be for you. My Flexologist for my visit was Destiny S. She's adept, has a warm and welcoming personality, explanatory with every step of the process, and of course attentive to your specific needs. I left my appointment feeling great and still feel that way 4 hours later. I'll book with her again.

I’m super disappointed it was something I thought was very Personable and personalized to cater to your specific needs. The flexologist are great it was really the sales and manager at the establishment.

We went through the whole slide show and had small talk back and forth about our busy lives. We thought they treated us well and wanted to help the business grow but wanted to stay within our capabilities we have a large family. We expressed verbally we wanted to sign up for a total of 8 sessions nothing more, not something reoccurring because we weren’t sure it fit our life style to Manager of the facility made us feel comfortable and secure that he understood our concerns and it would be just that.

Just to get a slap in a face of being signed up for reoccurring bill of something I would never sign up for. Even if the case that I was aware it was reoccurring wouldn’t sign up for a package totaling over $800+ , maybe something way lower scale that they offered.

I learned my lesson even if the sales manager is trying to seem like he cares and is personable and listening . He’s not, he’s sees you as number not a valued customer. (If I were the higher up or the Csuite for the company I would recommend more training and transparency on his behalf to avoid future angry customers)

I tried giving the manager the opportunity to resolve the issue I came in person the manager wrote my name and gave me a story he had to elevate the issue and he was going into a meeting with someone that could give him more access to help him with helping my concerns and he’d call me that day or the next. it’s been 2 weeks still never got a call back. (I guess he was just going to keep charging me until they got what THEY WANTED)

then my spouse went to try and speak and still the issue not resolved the manager still promised to call back. He still never did we basically had to go to the bank to resolve we never once used a credit at the stretch lab, because our lives are busy and we thought it was something of stamp system and could be used when it was convenient for us. And after finding this out and trying to work and express our concerns we also didn’t feel comfortable using the credits and being touched because we were financially led to believe something that’s was not true. At that point the trust was lost and there was nothing that could have me relax on one of those tables knowing they treated my business that way.

I hope if anyone else had a similar experience they share their story. So it could possibly lead to the business to be more mindful and at least make it super clear to new customers so they’re not stuck in such uncomfortable situations.

This is exactly what I needed to be incorporating into my wellness journey. The gentle stretching helps with activity recovery and has enhanced my flexibility and even alleviated tight hip pain. Alex is phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable. He works with my body and not against it - very customizable stretches.

I had a stretch session trial and initially used my credit card to hold the appointment. When I paid for the session, I used my HSA card and specifically requested that it be used for any future charges.

Despite this, my credit card has been charged instead. I’ve called three times and spoken with Rianna, asking for the charge to be canceled or refunded and redirected to my HSA. Unfortunately, nothing has been done, and I was forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

This process has been incredibly frustrating, especially since the front desk has had more than enough time—over two weeks—to correct this issue. At this point, I’m beyond frustrated and disappointed with how poorly this has been handled.

So the StretchLab concept is pure genius!! You make an appointment (through their super convenient app) and show up and someone (with some sort of experience/training... presumably...??😬😬😬) stretches you. Just like trainers do with professional athletes in the NFL and NBA.

Amazing concept!! So helpful and needed.

I live in Vermont and have been looking/waiting for a stretchlab for years. However! My parents live in Branford , Connecticut and i drive back and forth every other week. Conveniently past Glastonbury...

The thing is that Stretchlabs are franchises. So each location is independently owned (although...take note!!! The Glastonbury and new Branford locations have the same owner!!).

So I had injured my own self running hill repeats (🙄🙄🙄) and made an appointment at Glastonbury Stretchlab to get stretched because I was struggling!! LOL

I showed up at their location and the owner was manning the front desk. He is a very odd dude. Not great vibes. In any other setting I would not engage with someone as creepy as this guy. But he was the only guy at the front desk and he wasn't the one going to stretch me. So 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️.

He suggested i sign up for some package purchase deal that would actually save me money on the stretching appointments I wanted. AND STUPID ME I thought he was being like nice and helpful.

And then I gave him my credit card...

That's how they get you. 🙄🙄🙄

Friends. That was MONTHS ago. And this scammer started charging me every damn month until I called them on the phone and DEMANDED they stop charging my card. And the woman who answered said I'd signed up for an automatically renewing membership with a 3 mos minimum (of course) and she couldn't understand why she was unable to delete my cc from their system (of course). But this phone call would be considered my cancelation of the recurring membership (surrrreeeee.. ).

And then they proceeded to attempt to charge my card every month. And every month I sent them a threatening email telling them to STOP. And then, last week, they ran 5 charges on my credit card for a total of $839!!!!!!!!!!!!

I obviously reported all 5 charges as fraud to my cc company. I also filed a complaint against these scammers with the CT Atty Gen.

Avoid these people and this business like the actual plague!

Got this for a birthday week gift. Was excited to try it because I have extensive body damage after an accident, and I am tight. Had an assessment, and got massaged lightly, got stretched. It actually went by too quickly, and only a few things were able to get stretched. It was very relaxing. Sat up thinking we were going to start doing shoulders, but it was over. We will see how my body likes it in a couple of days. The girl doing my stretches was very pleasant and listened to my requests.

I was curious about StretchLab and decided to give it a try. As an athlete and body worker, I was curious what the benefits might be. I was not disappointed! The absence of pain and stiffness and ease of movement is wonderful! All the staff at StretchLab are terrific that I've met so far.
Clay, whom I worked with most continuously, has been very professional, personable and knowledgeable about stretching. Working with him is a pleasure! He has a great sensibility of the end-feel of a stretch. He will be a valuable member of any team that he joins in the future.

A friend referred me to the Stretch lab. He said they really helped him with his lower back pain so I figured I’d check it out. My first visit with Clay I knew my body would benefit from coming here. I’ve had some trouble with my left hip and I figured stretching it couldn’t hurt. The knowledge that Clay has and the way he goes about working with his clients is just great. He never pushed me out of my comfort zone, always asked the right questions, and always offered to give new ideas and new stretches I could do on my own. My hip has never felt so good, thanks Clay.

I went stretchlab because I had pain in my right foot. John found knots in my calf muscles and massaged them out. In just a few weeks, my foot felt much better, and I'm still going for continued improvement.

There is one thing that I'm not happy with. They automatically charge your credit card every month until you give them 30 days notice. I was okay with the first 3 months, but after that, I would just like to pay as I go.

I have been receiving one hour sessions for over three months and my range of motion has greatly increased and reduced many aches and pains I’ve been living with for years. The facility is new and very comfortable. Atticus, Tiffani, John and Clay are the specialists that I have had the pleasure of getting to know and all are wonderful. I highly recommend Stretch Lab!
