The Bar Method Fairfield is a boutique fitness studio offering barre classes for students of all levels. The signature method uses your own body weight, the ballet barre and a few props to create a transformative workout that results in long, lean sculpted muscles. Not only does it reshape your entire body, but it allows you to channel your inner strength and leave class feeling strong, confident and poised. Highly-trained instructors customize the exercises to ensure they are safe and effective for any age and every body, including modifications for pregnant women and students with injuries. Our staff and community are here to support you from the moment you walk through the door.

I completely recommend Fairfield Bar Method, one of my favorite places.
It’s an excellent work out for toning and strengthening. I’ve been attending classes for almost 10 years and it’s still challenging. Over the years they’ve added different formats, so it never gets boring.
The instructors are very welcoming and play a large role in the quality of the classes. They offer easy to follow directions for each exercise, and individual corrections as needed to ensure the best results. They are all very committed to creating a positive atmosphere.
The overall environment of the studio is friendly and calming. The instructors and staff greet everyone by name and create a very inviting and warm environment that makes you want to return often. As a bonus, there’s a retail wall with very cute tanks, T’s sweatshirts and socks that can be hard to resist, and a comfy sitting area with coffee.

I absolutely love The Method Fairfield! The instructors are incredibly welcoming, knowledgable, and encouraging. Although I have been attending classes for many years, every class continues to be very challenging in the best way and really focuses on form and strength. I’ve been going to Bar Method Fairfield for a decade now, and I truly can’t say enough good things about it. The workout itself is incredible—focused, challenging, and designed to really tone and strengthen your body. It NEVER gets easier, but that’s exactly what keeps it effective.
What really sets this studio apart, though, are the instructors. They’re incredibly attentive and hands-on, often giving personalized adjustments and encouragement that make it feel like you’re getting personal training in a group setting. They know you by name, they know your form, and they genuinely care about your progress.
The studio has a very down-to-earth, welcoming vibe—no ego, no pressure, just a supportive community and a commitment to helping you feel your strongest. After all these years, it still feels fresh, and I still leave every class feeling better than when I walked in.

The Bar Method Fairfield is a home away from home! A safe space to push yourself to your limits in every class. The instructors each have their own way of positively motivating you to be your best most mobile self; “push further!”, “you came here, make the time count!” And my favorite, “you are stronger than you think!”.
I recommend anyone to come in and try a full ‘Bar Method’ class, or a faster paced ‘Bar Method Express’ class! You won’t regret taking the time for yourself to be a part of this amazing and supportive community.

What a fantastic studio!!!! The classes are challenging yet attainable, and I love that the exercises both strengthen and lengthen muscles. As a busy working mom, I also value that while at barre, my mind shuts off the “ticker” that otherwise relentlessly scrolls through my brain, chiding me about errands and obligations. While in pretzel, you can only think about your form and not about deadlines - it’s so freeing! The instructors are all wonderful and knowledgeable, and are able to help me modify so that my rotator cuff injury doesn’t flare up. If I could give them 10 stars, they would have earned each one!

Tried my first bar method class tonight and it was incredible! Everyone I came in contact with, from the receptionist to the instructors to my classmates, was so friendly and welcoming. I instantly felt comfortable! The class itself was challenging, I had no idea what a great workout it is! The instructor gave clear cues and directions with demonstration and most importantly always willing to help and make sure your form is correct! I highly recommend the bar method for fitness and the Fairfield location for fun!

Bar Method as an exercise regimen is fantastic, and this studio is so true to the methodology, so rigorous in making sure clients are doing the moves properly and getting the most out of their workouts. Every single teacher is top notch--they bring their own personality to the class, along with total commitment to the method. The classes are fun, high-energy and the time flies by.
The studio is spotless clean, beautifully decorated, welcoming and super-friendly. I've been going here for almost two years and I feel so welcome and loved. Everyone is thriving in this studio. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I'm in my early 50s and started bar method about nine months ago. My 20 year old daughter got me hooked. I see every age, fitness level and shape of women in all my classes getting stronger, more flexible and confident every week. I wanted to increase my core and upper body strength as my middle started expanding and shoulders slumping more with age. I wanted to feel strong, feel good in my clothes and find an exercise I could do safely for the rest of my life. I learned how bar method is designed by physical therapists and is great for all ages. Having done pilates reformer for years I saw results and grew stronger much faster with 3 to 4 classes a week of bar. Each class and teacher is different and fun. As an added benefit I've found the classes reduce daily stress, help me feel centered and maintain better eating habits. Although the wine and chocolate are non-negotiable! The Fairfield Studio is very attractive and clean and the staff are professional, friendly and inspiring. Joining as a vip member has been a great choice for my lifestyle, overall health and state of mind!

I absolutely LOVE Bar Method! It sounds a bit crazy, but taking these classes has changed my life. I am more energized and feel strong for the first time in years.
The studio has a great vibe -- people are very friendly and welcoming. The teachers are super knowledgeable and clearly take pride in what they do. They know everybody's names and help make that sure you are doing the exercises safely.
I have taken other bar classes in the area in the past, but Bar Method is definitely the best!

To be completely honest, I was a little hesitant about barre because I didn't think it was for me. I wasn't used to the open floor, instructors knowing my name and fixing my form. But I stuck with it and have been doing it for 4 months now and I love the results I'm seeing. The instructors and front desk are all very friendly and they've created a positive environment. I really enjoy and look forward to going to the classes and highly recommend it!

I have been taking classes for the last few months and I absolutely love them! I've always been a huge fan of group classes but had never taken one exactly like this one. I first started taking bar after recently moving to Fairfield when my younger son was only a few months old. I was actually embarrassed to take a class because I was so out of shape. Only after a few classes my body started to change and I became addicted. Now after 8 months, I can't say enough good things about bar method. All of the instructors, staff and community are amazing. Growing up a figure skater I wish I had this back then instead of just the usual gym routine and ballet when I was off ice training. Nothing else ever made me feel as flexible and lean. The staff is welcoming and the exercise is great! I’ve taken other “Barre” classes and none compare to the Bar Method. What makes Bar Method different is the personal attention and attention to detail regarding correct body position — even in a full class. All of the instructors are engaged and motivating. You work each of the major muscle groups in each class. I saw results quickly and I am stronger. This is the best workout ever!
