The Dance Studio's mission is to bring quality professional dance education to children and adults in a supportive atmosphere through our classes taught by adult teachers with a BA, BFA or MA degrees in Dance and Dance Education.
One of our top goals is to ensure that all classes are age appropriate physically, developmentally, and socially.
We also offer equal attention to dancers regardless of age or ability levels. All dancers are treated equally, whether a recreational or pre-professional student. We strive to bring the most current methods in dance education, injury prevention, and choreography to our students.
Our staff believes dance is the great medium to unite us all and bring us together.

I highly recommend The Dance Studio! My daughter has danced here for 3 years and I can't say enough positive things. They are caring and have the best interest of each child in mind when teaching. They have taught her discipline and to not give up when it gets hard! I had to write a review because I was astounded to see negative reviews from random folks who aren't even associated with the studio. I am unsure of how they could comment on a business they haven't even been to!

The kindness and love that the director, Paige, as well as all of the instructors have shown my granddaughter since she began taking dance classes at The Dance Studio of WL is truly remarkable! I can’t say enough good things about this dance studio! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and at home. The instructors are incredibly talented, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping each student reach their potential. I can only say amazing things about The Dance Studio of Windsor Locks. My daughter has been a member since she was 5 years old. Since joining this dance team, she has grown and has made so many new friends. This studio makes you feel like part of a family. Ms. Paige, Ms Angie, and the rest of the teachers and staff are nice, friendly, knowledgeable, and whenever I have had a question or concern, they are quick to provide me with an answer. I cannot say enough good things about The Dance Studio! We have been a part of The Dance Studio family since they opened their studio in Windsor Locks over 2 years ago. My daughter absolutely loves taking dance classes there and looks forward to each and every class. The directors of the studio, Paige and Angie, are the best to work with and are so dedicated to what they do. The dance teachers are very skilled and knowledgeable not only about dancing but how to connect with younger dancers to teach them and help them gain confidence in what they are learning. The teachers focus on each individual dancer and on the group as a whole and how the dancers can work together as a team.
I also appreciate that The Dance Studio offers a lot of classes later in the afternoon, in the evening, and on Saturdays - which is really convenient when parents work during the day.
The other thing I like about The Dance Studio is they offer dance and workout classes for adults too - their Ballet Booty Bootcamp class is a lot of fun and a great way to get some adult time and focus on yourself.
Our family is really glad The Dance Studio opened in town and we look forward to many more years of being part of their dance family!
