I can’t say enough great things about BJ and his team! He’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and patient, and he truly goes above and beyond for his clients. He took the time to personalize and tailor each workout to meet my unique needs and goals. He went above and beyond for my family and myself, and we truly appreciate it. The environment is always welcoming and motivating, which makes every session something to look forward to. Most importantly, I’ve seen real results, both physically and mentally. I’ve been working out with Blaine for four years now which, I was unwillingly roped into at first. Somewhere along the way though, I went from “fine whatever,” and now I actually show up some days even willingly. Could I workout on my own? Probably well maybe, but will I ever actually do it without a trainer? Absolutely not. That’s why The Fit Lab is where I keep coming back to. That said there are moments where I deeply question all my life choices especially when forced to use the stair master. However, despite my protests Blaine just smiles enjoying my suffering most likely and pushes me harder anyways. The result you ask? I walk out sweaty, tired and side-eyeing him but a little stronger and healthier…..I think at least.

The Fit Lab is a Great place to work out.
The personal trainers are attentive to each individual and are vested in achieving goals.
The gym is unique.
It is small but they find a way to ensure the work out is effective. You can become the lean machine with this team if that is your dream.
The gym is clean and the atmosphere is always friendly.
There is no need to feel embarrassed at whatever starting point you may be at currently, the trainers are empowering.

My mom and I have been training with BJ for almost 3 months and it’s been amazing. He has helped my mom who has medical issues get strong and be able to lose weight something she wasn’t able to do in the past.

BJ and Blaine have been amazing so far! They observed me, set out a plan, and are very clear on how they think we should proceed. It’s been a while since I’ve worked out, they completely understand. They are always checking in on me to make sure I am not in pain, and they allow me to ask as many questions as I need to. Balance has always been an issue for me, so it’s great to see them shape the workouts so that I am able to do them without falling over.
I am so excited to continue this training! I highly recommend!

This is my first time ever using a personal trainer. I was very nervous about choosing one. When I found BJ he made me feel very comfortable but more importantly he made me feel confident that I can achieve the body that I want. BJ'S assistant, Blaine, is also amazing. They both are very professional, courteous, and welcoming. They will work you as hard as you want them to. They are a great team and I would recommend him to anyone that is trying to change their body to their desired goal.

UPDATED REVIEW:
Got my spine X-rayed yesterday, for the first time since I was 14 or 15. I have significant congenital scoliosis, but the curving of my spine was halted by a spinal fusion operation when I was 12. I feared a worse curvature, degeneration of the fusion site or surrounding vertebrae, or problems with my left (pronounced) hip.
Everything was fine. My spine may still be as curvy as Jessica Rabbit, but my vertebrae and my hips are strong. Aside from the skill of my surgeon 14 years ago, the doctor said that the primary factor in my current & continued spinal health is *exercise*. "Everything looks great. Keep doing what you're doing."
So, I have to shout out BJ Rauch, my trainer and friend of 4 1/2 years. He's given this non-athletic person the tools and confidence to sustain healthy workout habits. I've always tried to be physically active, but never enjoyed it until I started working with BJ. He's challenged and equipped me to the point that "the gym" now feels comfortable and accessible to me. He's taught me enough modifications to still push my limits while keeping my spine protected.
I saw the proof myself on the x-ray yesterday. Thank you, BJ!

I began as a work-out novice with BJ over four years ago. Since that time, he has helped me achieve goals such as losing a few pounds, becoming stronger and more agile, fitting into my wedding dress, or just getting "back on the horse" after difficult life changes. He is such a kind, patient soul, yet will still push you to your limits. He is always able to provide modifications to accommodate physical limitations, and will still ensure that you get a good workout. I used to hate working out, and now I look forward to it -- whether with BJ or on my own. Working with BJ has definitely changed my life for the better!

BJ definitely is the real deal!!! He’s genuine, meets you where you are at and has a passion for bringing out the best in people. Ever since I trained with BJ, health and wellness has become an important part of my life as a whole person. And that’s the thing; BJ trains the whole person. He is a great example of health and fitness himself , which is very motivating and encouraging. With his guidance, workouts and realistic goals, you begin to see the results and want to stick with it. One of the best investments a person can make is on themselves. I went for work-out sessions with BJ for over 3 years and sadly had to leave since I left the country. The sessions were not the usual type, every session is planned and customized based on your needs. BJ is available anytime on phone and becomes part of the journey to help you achieve your goals. He is also very patient and kind (rare qualities to find in your personal trainer). This is a great place to get fit and have a laugh while doing it. I would highly recommend it.

Have been seeing BJ now for over a year. He is passionate about what he does as well as knowledgeable. Each work out with him is never the same which keeps things very interesting and never dull. He will push you to reach your goals and will make sure you stay on track. The fact that each work out is customized for you is big. No a single client has the same work out. His studio is always clean and with the equipment that is needed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SEEING HIM!

BJ.is just a wonderful person and awesome trainer. He pushes you but is also kind. A great combination for me. I have improved so much. Exercise plus low carb diet.. I am now 25 lbs lighter and strong. He varies your work out and increases the intensity so that it is always challenging. He is not only a great trainer.. He is hands down a real gem.. Kind, gentle, caring but he knows how to push you and encourage you to do your best!!!

I’ve been working with BJ for a few months now and he’s just a fantastic personal trainer. On the first day he spent time getting to know me with regard to my strengths, weaknesses, diet and current physical routine. Each week he comes up with new routines based on how my body has been reacting (I have neck/shoulder issues). He’s very knowledgeable and is always giving me helpful tips for my exercise routine and is always researching new ideas on how to help alleviate pain in my trigger areas. Oh, and by the way, the weight loss has been great! I’m so glad my friends referred me to BJ. He’s just the perfect combination of task master and wonderful human being!!

Bj is a great personal coach! Within the first weeks he got me in a good shape. His methods are strict but effective. I have worked with other coaches before. The connection between you and your coach will make the difference in the long run. So make sure you meet BJ en try out his training sessions.
