A private, appointment-based studio focused on movement, strength, and everyday performance. We offer one-on-one coaching, semi-private small-group sessions, curated classes, and open-gym access for training clients. Flexible memberships: single sessions, month-to-month, and add-on open-gym options. Our coaches prioritize health and wellness with specialties in powerlifting, MMA, partner acrobatics/acroyoga, mobility, adaptive training, and weight-loss coaching. We'll build a challenging, engaging program tailored to you.

I can’t say enough great things about The Movement Collective in Meriden! This gym isn’t just about lifting weights—it’s about building strength, mobility, and overall movement in a way that truly improves how you feel and perform every day. The trainers are knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Whether you’re an experienced athlete or just starting out, they tailor the workouts to help you push your limits while keeping proper form and injury prevention a priority.
The community here is also top-notch—everyone is welcoming, and the energy in the space makes training both fun and motivating. This is such an awesome gym! I’ve only attended a couple sessions so far, but the instructors and other attendees are really knowledgeable, skilled, helpful, and welcoming. It’s a nice, open space with a strong community feel. If you’re looking for a fun, different workout or to learn or hone your skills in acroyoga, aerial yoga, handstands, or just strengthening and conditioning, I highly recommend checking it out!

I have been experiencing great results from my personal training group classes with John. The Acroyoga classes and Jams are so much fun! They are full of people moving, playing and growing. Acro is an amazing international community, the fact this gym goes out of their way to support it makes me passionate about supporting them. They are the changes I want to see in the world. What's not to love? Super spacious training space with all the modern equipment you could ever want accompanied with expert coaching. Whatever your fitness goals are I'm sure they'll help you meet them. Not to mention the best acroyoga classes around! Ample parking and signage so finding the gym in the building is straightforward.

The MVMT Collective is such an awesome and inclusive space. They have such talented staff that actually understand how the body moves, why it moves, and how to make YOUR body do you things YOU want to do. Personal training is 10/10 and the classes are super fun and informative. Love the matted space that allows people to do acro or any of their movement goals during jam time.

Great new spot which offers some really unique functional classes and some outstandingly talented teachers. I can’t believe how in need CT was of a spot like this! Everything is really tailored to your fitness and health needs! Plus it offers acro yoga multiple times a week; something I’ve dearly missed!

Amazing environment. Unique classes and fun events. Trainers are professional, no BS. John in particular has guided me to tons of knowledge, strength, mobility, and awareness of my body. He is fun to work with and very well rounded, working with competitive athletes to kids, to older adults who have no athletic background. I feel like every session my questions are fully answered and I have a better understanding of the proper techniques to exercise safely and efficiently. I have been working with him for one and a half years now.
Huge improvement from the space we trained in before. Has everything.
