About the Club

Chiropractor Timothy Wang and exercise physiologist Mary Wang join forces at The Posture Bar, where they combine medically based treatments and PILATES REHAB CLASSES to adjust imbalances in the Neuromuscular system and promote better posture. Whether clients’ goals are to lose weight, tone their bodies, or minimize pain, the duo provides something for everyone. Timothy uses the active-release technique to massage soft tissue and alleviate tennis elbow, he also helps clients reshape their bodies using the Pilates Reformer.

I visited the Posture Bar to deal with a painful shoulder issue. I've since worked closely with Dr. Tim to improve my overall posture, improve my core strength, and develop healthy sitting habits. He's also really helped me with other back issues. It's a wonderful practice and while I haven't worked with Mary directly, I hear lots of rave reviews from people in my evening Pilates class. It's a wonderful practice. I wish I found it earlier.

This is a great Pilates studio for those looking for personalized instruction. The classes are very small - only five people or less. Tim is able to help with modifications and is able to make sure that you are getting the mximum benefit out of the reformer sessions.

After injuring myself with a personal trainer, the Pilates classes with Tim are wonderful. Both stretching and working the core without hurting. You learn to breathe correctly while trying to engage your core and working all the muscle groups. Small class sizes so you get immediate feedback if you are doing poses wrong. Great classes and a great teacher.

I have had lower back pain since the c-section birth of my son and "coning" in my abdomen due to the size of my son at birth (nearly 10 lbs!) I reached out and Mary was very kind and accommodating in explaining their unique approach to wellness. I worked with Dr. Tim on a combination of chiropractic and Pilates private sessions which has been helping to not only improve my posture and core strength but has helped to alleviate pain. Essentially I am getting some pelvic floor assistance where other approaches have failed. Highly recommend the initial assessment appointment which helps identify some problem points and develop a targeted plan. Also - Mary and Tim are just amazing people.

I was new to Pilates so skepitcal. I wanted to try Pilates for awhile and when I found Posture Bar is was perfect. I am a cyclist and wanted something to compliment that and Pilates is definitely it! I especially loved that it is a smaller studio , (5 reformers) so I was able to get the attention I needed to be sure my form was correct.
Tim and Mary Wang are both awesome, easy to get along with very responsive to any of your questions. They take the time to help you learn and enjoy pilates. If you've been thinking about Pilates, reach out- you will not be sorry!

I'm addicted to the Pilates classes Mary and Tim teach. The equipment and studio is always clean and spotless. The classes are small and you feel motivated because everyone gets more personal attention. Their teaching styles and routines are so fluid and calm. I’m a fairly active person and have been doing yoga for the better part of my life. Yet, I’ve had constant sciatic issues since giving birth 12 years ago. I decided not too long ago to try pilates. Boy do I now realize that my core was never really strong despite yoga. From the first class, I have felt stronger and my sciatica healing itself. Pilates with Mary has literally changed my life. I am amazed by the results and more importantly, I no longer have such severe sciatic pain. I also tried Tim as a chiropractor. And that man is a magician.
