We just love this place! So welcoming and the schedules are just extremely accommodating. Coach Steve and Coach Ben are so great with the kids and have taught my little ones so much on the ice. Itβs a very family oriented facility.

everything about this rink is great except the locker rooms i guess the new people here refuse to clean them dust is everywhere and they smell awful not talking about hockey gear smell like garbage and dirty floor smell a little bleach and a wipe down once a week in locker rooms and showers is needed but the past year and a half they have seemed to give up on it and its said its one of my favorite places to play

Nice spot to skate. However it gets ridiculously busy and almost impossible to skate at times. People going every which way not following the direction of skate. Small rink rats zipping all over creating a hazard and nuisance. Skate rentals are mid at best. Have zero edge on them.

As a member of the CT polar bears team( girls ice hockey team) that is our home rink I love it its one of my favorite rink and it's also huge,they plan very well and the ice is very clean as well as locker rooms and stands. also have laser tag its fun

Went today, and I guess this is an anomaly based on the other reviews, the place was overcrowded, the ice was destroyed after like 5 minutes. They ran out of skate assist for kids, and was very expensive compared to other rinks.

Very nice and helpful front office staff when you enter the rink and when you call on the phone. Public skate was too crowded and there didn't seem to be any staff "refereeing "the speeding hockey skaters who would weaving in and out of the inexperienced skaters.

It was our first time there. Disappointed that they don't offer assistance devices for older kids or adult skaters. Something like that should be on the website. If it was I world have gone to a different rink that has assistance & enjoyment available for all ages.

I have two children enrolled in the classes(they are 9 & 3). It is a great atmosphere, multiple classes going on at the same time. Both of my girls can participate at the same time so I can watch both of them. I was worried my three year old would be to small, but the teachers have been fantastic and patient. Friendly and safe atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The Rinks is the best Ice skating facility in CT. For the past few, years my 3 children have enjoyed summer camp and skating/hockey programs. My kids say summer camp is awesome. Which makes me happy.

Our family of 5 loves coming here for public skate! They have training bars for younger children or beginners to help build confidence on the ice. (Those are, however, an additional charge) On Friday night public skate, they turn the lights off and have music and colorful lights shining on the ice, which makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Just be aware, because of the lights being off, training bars are not available because of safety hazard so keep that in mind if you happen to be taking younger ones on a Friday. Our 5 year old daughter typically uses the training bar so when we went this past Friday we werenβt aware that they werenβt allowed. We all had a blast anyways...and after lots of hand holding and support, our BabyGirl even ended up getting confident enough to glide around the ice without it! The only reason I didnβt give a 5 star review is I would just suggest that the skate guards oversee the crowd a little closer. Some younger kids were using their skates to kick and chip away at the ice, which obviously could cause someone to fall when theyβre skating and unexpectedly hit a divot in the ice. Still, I would highly recommend this place to families, friends, couples (my husband and I have had our date night there once ourselves!) Bring your own skates, or rent a pair and let the fun begin!

Was told on the phone by an employee that public skating would end at 2pm. Got there late with my child, though I figured an hour of skating would be ok. They ended public skating early however and my daughter only got 30 mins of skating in - though we were forced to pay for two. Be advise they may cut the public skating short but tell you it lasts longer than it actually does. Again, we paid for 2 hours, but got only 30 mins of skate time.

It's a double decker ice rink. They have a snack bar and there's a 24 hour fitness club that is very reasonable. They also do laser tag. The heaters for the bleachers can be spotty.
