At The U, our focus is not fitness, it’s YOU. Our award-winning Virtual Gym features at-home workouts focusing on strength, cardio and recovery, ensuring your body is getting the prescription it needs to feel its best. Sessions are suitable for all levels, and are ideal for those looking to lose weight, recovering from injury or simply want to feel better than they do right now.

The crew at The U is simply amazing...I wouldn't want to share my journey to becoming physically (and mentally) fit with anyone else. With each and every workout I sincerely appreciate the encouragement, the tough love, the compassion (AND of course, the shenanigans :)) It took me a while to finally take the leap for myself but I'm happy that I did :) and super excited to be a part of The U family!

Absolutely the best! I’ve been going here for years. I️ started when I️ lived in CT and was so happy when they started offering a virtual platform which I’ve been using since relocating to NC. Flexible options - most mornings I️ do a live class but sometimes I️ opt for a recording. The recordings are updated frequently so I️ dont get bored with them. And the live classes have a terrific vibe with a very attentive coach to help me avoid injury - and sometimes push me to do more. I’m a huge fan.

I can't say enough great things about Upper Deck Fitness, the staff, and the clientele. The owner and staff treat all of their clients like individuals and valuable members of their community as soon as they walk in the door. They tailor all of their workouts to meet your needs, making sure everyone is challenged but empowered and safe. The clients are warm and welcoming to newcomers, and cheer each other on. I leave every UDF class feeling strong and capable, which has a remarkably positive affect on how I manage the rest of my day.

About 2 1/2 years ago, I received a postcard in the mail to try out a neighborhood gym, UpperDeck Fitness, with a free class. I called and signed up a for a class. BEST DECISION! Fast forward to now and I am still attending UpperDeck Fitness at least 4-5/week. I am a stay-at-home mom of 5 and this gym is perfect for me! There are early morning, mid-morning, and post-dinner-time classes. I have the flexibility to take different classes based on my kids/husbands schedule. The environment at UpperDeck is like no other gym. It is inviting and friendly from the second you walk in the door. All of the members are encouraging and supportive. I have been able to meet people that have become friends both in and out of the gym. This type of support and camaraderie is often not found at other fitness centers. Cannot recommend this facility enough!

Both the staff and clients here are really welcoming and friendly. Very supportive environment, and great trainers. I wish there were more classes scheduled at other times, but I get it-- it's a small shop, and there are lots of benefits to that.

Upper Deck Fitness is the best! I have a rotating schedule, so I love that I can drop in for whatever classes work for me each week. Every class I have been to has been fun and engaging, and everyone who works there is very friendly and great at motivating and teaching. I've been going since September and I feel great.
