Thunder is a small group fitness training studio specializing in working with adult clients. We offer personal training, group classes, educational workshops and cardio sessions. Our mission is to help people live healthier and take on new challenges with confidence.
We believe that there is strength in numbers! We offer a community of like minded people who encourage each other, and hold one another accountable to achieving long-term success.
We happen to make some pretty good workouts too! :)

After two years of physical inactivity I read that Thunder Sports & Fitness, a new member of The Greater Waterbury of Chamber of Commerce, was offering a βFitness over 50β workout session. Very nervously I made an appointment to check out Brian and his gym. I was warmly greeted by members finishing up an evening class. The space is exceptionally clean, bright and conveniently located so I gave it a try! Now as a member for over, year I have experienced Brian to be an excellent trainer who adapts the workouts for each person in a small group setting to reach their goals. He is motivational, flexible and respectful with all of his members no matter if they are in their 20βs, 80βs or somewhere in between. Brianβs commitment to his community and clients make Thunder Sports & Fitness the ideal gym for me to be a member of.

I started in April at Thunder fitness. I was struggling with weight and not exercising. It was the best decision for me. Brian works with you to reach goals. He helps modify exercises to the level you can accomplish and helps you individually. Joining Thunder fitness has helped me have more energy, loose weight, and feel more energetic.

I had not exercised for way too many years when I joined Thunder. Now, after just 4 months, I feel much better physically and mentally. I am moving again and I love it. Brian is a great trainer and motivator and knows just how to get me trying harder. I am hooked!!

Working out at Thunder has been such a great experience. It has given me the confidence and knowledge of a proper workout all while making it fun and exciting. I use to dislike going to the gym and trying to lift weights and figure things out on my own. With Brian by my side guiding me every step of the way I can now say I enjoy strength training and the progress I have made in the last 5 months. The laid back atmosphere and smaller classes are exactly what I needed to get back into the healthy lifestyle that I was missing.

Lost 20lbs with Brian's workouts. I left the normal gym and started with Brian and seen immediate differences with a loss in body fat. The group sessions are awesome and it shows that Brian really cares about your results.

Workouts at Thunder have been different than any other gym I've been to. Brian takes an interest in all his clients and works with us according to our individual abilities as well as challenging and encouraging us to push past what we think we can do. The classes are small enough for individual attention, yet large enough to make new friends. Brian keeps things new and changes up what we do on a regular basis.
I enjoy working out with the other clients who may be a young athlete wanting better performance or a senior who just wants to maintain their balance and do their everyday chores with ease. It's a very comfortable atmosphere.
In addition to working with our individual physical abilities, Brian customizes a nutrition plan based on our individual requirements. He is truly interested in our success to reach whatever goals we have set. Brian is a great coach, truly interested in his client's fitness, makes you feel comfortable no matter your age or ability and even throws in some humor.

My mom has been working out with Brian for about 5 months now. She is down 2 pant sizes and about 30 lbs. She has never felt like she had more energy! My Husband and I joined in January 2017 and have enjoyed working with Brian. He is able to customize the workout to our needs and focuses on making sure we are maximizing our workouts to meet our goals. Brian is very knowledgeable about exercise and nutrition and creates specialized programs for any needs and goals.
