I just finished Coach Marion's 4 week kickstart to fat loss class...and it was awesome! I've never regularly exercised or been particularly knowledgeable on nutrition, so I was a total beginner. In 4 weeks, with Coach M's guidance, I lost 13 lbs! But more than that, I gained an incredible amount of knowledge on nutrition, hormones, how the body works, and overall confidence. Coach is incredibly knowledgeable, extremely responsive, and truly wants to see you succeed. Highly recommend if you want a no nonsense coach who will be your biggest supporter and teach you the tools for success.

I have been working with Marion for six months. I am 30 pounds lighter and much stronger, even though I am facing the headwinds of being 65 years old. However, that is not what is remarkable about working with Marion. Lot’s of coaches and trainers can “fix you” in the short term. What is remarkable about Marion is that she has changed who I am. She has a way about her that is both no-nonsense and yet kind and empathetic. Excuses are not an option, but I don’t feel shame about my mistakes, just more determination to understand why I made them and to change course.
I am about 40% of the way to my goals. I say “goals” because Marion has made me see the importance of strength and fitness over purely weight loss. I still have a long road in front of me, but what is amazing about working with Marion is that I am not tired. I don’t feel deprived or exhausted or discouraged. I don’t even feel hopeful! I’m way beyond hopeful—I am 100% certain I can get to my goals. That is the difference in working with Marion and why the progress can be sustained.
For so many years I could not understand how I could be a successful person—running projects and managing people—but I could not manage the project that was me and my health. She has somehow rearranged my DNA to make me think of myself as a fit, strong, healthy and active person and everything I do now just makes sense in light of my new identity. Working with Marion is not easy—nothing worthwhile ever is. She does not believe in excuses, but more important, she teaches you how to not to believe in them either.

I had always been athletic and a heavy runner for years; working out with cardio was always something that had been a part of my life, however, weight training was not a part of my routine. Marion has always encouraged women to incorporate, weightlifting into our routines, stating that as we grow older, weight-bearing activity would be really important for maintaining muscle. I will admit, I was skeptical that it would make a significant difference for me. Fast-forward three years, I now know that I cannot and should not live without weight training as a part of my routine. Her programming has not only changed my body, making it stronger and leaner, it has also changed my mentality. I see myself as a strong woman who is capable and confident. Her programming has also enhanced my running, providing me with more stamina and limiting any injuries. I reached out to Marion after my youngest daughter started college. It was finally time for me! I was in menopause, overweight and unfit. I began with an online program tailored to my own fitness goals and personal needs. I workout at home, on my own schedule. Working with Marion and being inspired by her group of strong women has enhanced my life and health more than I can possibly say. I am 59, and have been working with her for nearly 4 months. In that time, my strength and ability to comfortably do things that come up in everyday life, like climbing stairs or getting up and down off the floor, has improved tremendously. I used to say, "I'm too old to be getting on the floor." It wasn't that I was too old; it was that I had lost muscle tone and was out of shape. I really love the way Marion's remote program works. I get three to four workouts a week, of six to seven exercises that take about 40 minutes. She programs them specifically for me on an app that allows me to check them off when I've completed them. It is very satisfying to be able to see that I crushed my workout! The exercises are challenging but completely reasonable, and I feel very accomplished with each one I complete. I love feeling strong and seeing the definition in my muscles. In addition, I have lost 16 lbs of fat, and gained muscle. My clothes fit me better and I like what I see when I look in the mirror.
Marion's style is no BS. She tells it like it is. Her nutrition coaching has really inspired me to improve the way I eat and think about food. It is simple and straightforward, and surprisingly effective and reasonable. It is not extreme.
I joined Marion and Women's World Fitness because I want to be strong and capable as I age. Marion works specifically with perimenopausal and postmenopausal women, and she used to be a geriatric nurse. Her experience and knowledge make me feel confident that she is able to address my fitness and nutrition in light of medical issues. She is very passionate about her work and really cares about her women. She is always learning new things and teaching us more so that we hhaveknowledge, and thereby, strength and power.

I have been working with Marion for a little over a year and I have seen a lifetime of change in myself. When I started, I was constantly apologizing, scared to ask for help, and unable to do really anything positive for myself. I was in a cycle of diets and workouts that didn’t create any lasting change - inside or out. I made excuses and thought, oh this is just how my body is and how it will always be.
But with Marion’s coaching and support, this has all changed. I did not only change my body, but I also changed my mind. I started working with Marion 18 months ago on the advice of a good friend, also her client. I was stuck in a multi-year rut of letting self care get away from me. Marion's focus on mindset and resetting priorities for long term strength and health, both mental and physical, was instrumental in helping me get on track in a way that I could not do on my own. If you are serious about improving your health, Women's World Fitness LLC is the program; providing both physical training and nutrition guidance. Marion is awesome and very passionate! She has a no BS, simple approach to reaching your goals. The training is challenging but doable with exercises that meet you where you're at while simultaneously pushing you to improve.
I started with Marion less than a year ago and agreed upon a one year goal period to lose 100lbs. With four months to go, I am optimistic that I will hit my goal weight before that anniversary. The strength, endurance and confidence that I've gained, however, will last well beyond that date because I don't plan on stopping.

Where to begin with this review?!?!
First and foremost, Marion is in a CLASS OF HER OWN! During my initial consultation Marion asked what my goals were. My first goal of focus was to lose 20 pounds. She told me I could do this in 8 weeks. I was eager to begin working together and so motivated by her confidence in the timeline I could do this. Marion is a wealth of health, nutrition and fitness information! She shared so much during our nutrition coaching sessions and I took so much from every one of them (more than she probably realizes). She gave me all the tools I needed and it was up to me to hit the ground running and use them. What I found most invaluable was how using these tools allowed me to become more in tune with my body and what works (and doesn’t work) for me. She held me accountable! When I wasn’t seeing the progress I wanted or expected she asked questions and coached me through reasons why things were and went the way the did. And 8 weeks later… GOAL achieved. 20 pounds lost!
Marion is dedicated and committed to her clients. She checks-in often and asks how things are going, offering her help and reminders to reach out with any questions. Marion is an amazing trainer who invests 100% in helping her clients achieve their goals. She is professional and knowledgeable. She does a great job using her experience and education to create individualized programs that work for her clients. I have been training with Marion for about 7 weeks now and have already lost 14 pounds while increasing my strength and mobility. I am excited to see how much more I will progress in the future with Marion’s guidance. Overall, Marion is a fantastic trainer!

I have been working with Marion, owner of Women's World Fitness since December, 2019. When I first contacted her, my goal was to lose 60 pounds. It was a daunting goal, but I had looked everywhere, and tried everything. Marion worked with me on an eating plan, personalized to my needs and lifestyle. We also worked on an exercise program, designed around my back and knee issues. I'm nearly at my weight loss goal with just a few pounds to go, and I could not have done it without the guidance and assistance of Marion.
