Absolutely phenomenal academy. My little girl has been a student since Jan '22 and just got her green/purple belt last week at age 5! At YB she not only trains for fighting but is challenged academically learning Korean as well discipline and respect. I started my 3.5 year old son here last year and decided to enroll myself in the adult class as well and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. YB World, we love you. My child joined them about 3 years ago and I must say I have only positive things to say about them. A visible difference in the personality, self confidence and motivation and an added touch of kindness and care.
We love the instructors, they are professional (with various levels of black belts) and make learning a fun process. Master Kim, Grandmaster Kim, Master CJ, Instructor Ryan, Valeria(always greets us with a smile at the front desk), Instructor Jason, and Instructor Aidan have made us feel like we are part of the YB Family.
Last year due to Covid when schools became remote and we had to stay indoors, YB World switched to an online format and we were skeptical about it at first but then it really made a difference to my child to have some fun and also stay fit via their online classes. Loved the flexibility they showed.

Grandmaster Kim and Mrs. Kim and their team really have put their heart into making sure our kids become overall a better person.

My son entered YB Taekwondo Academy when he was 8 years old. He had very low muscle-tone, not have a lot of self-confidence and lack of focus. Within the first year we noticed the change. I am happy to say that he is about to be 16 years old and working on his 3rd degree black belt. All of the issues I noted above are no longer. I started training in YB four months ago. I really like the family environment at YB. Instructors care about what you learn and how you progress physically and mentally. Both my kids are Black Belts at YB, I am proud to say that I'm a first degree candidate. At the time my doctors wanted me to give up my "couch potato" life style, my daughter was graduating college and coming home. What better way to kill two birds with one stone? She wanted to continue her training, and I needed that extra push to get me off the couch. That was almost three years ago. I have been training for almost three years now, and it only keeps getting better and better. I have learned to push myself beyond my limits, even in my daily life, due to the strong motivation I get from the instructors and staff, as well as other students. Not only did I learn to become more agile and flexible because of the martial art, it has also taught me how to be more patient with life in general. I joined in 2004 after my younger brother and father had joined and am currently a first degree black belt. Although I had to take a break, I have begun to train again while at college and of course have come back home to train at YB. It has always been like a second home to me.
