Absolutely loving the STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING classes with the inspiring and supportive teacher Trusha Patel. Intelligent, creative and thoughtful movement that has made an enormous difference to my overall health, strength and wellbeing.
Trusha's classes are 100% non- competitive yet 100% motivating to a diverse range of students and always taught with a "begin where you are" welcoming platform and modifications for every exercise ...and delivered always with a healthy dose of humor!
For the newbie who has never lifted a weight or attempted a push up and beyond....Trushas classes are invaluable for both men and women alike. 5 *****

The best Yoga studio I've been a member of.
Teachers are clear on instructions, caring when poses become too difficult and when music is played it always adds so much to the ambiance.
The owner of the studio, Dan, really cares about all the students and is always gently encouraging.
It's a joy to get to the classes and, yes, I always feel better at the end of a class than when I walked in.

I absolutely love practicing at YogaSolβ€”the atmosphere, the heat, and the energy in the studio make every class such a great experience. I always leave feeling recharged and grounded. I started just a few months ago at the age of 18 and practicing hot yoga is now my favorite thing. I love Lauren’s 10am classes and the community is so welcoming for beginners!

I can’t think of anything that would make YogaSol even better. For me , YogaSol is a special community of yogis, new and familiar. Dan and Jeanne, the owners ensure high standards and friendliness are met from the moment we walk through the door. I love the classes and I attend several times a week. The instructors are top notch which is why I keep showing up- the benefits of being in the hot room enhance my outlook on life- physically and mentally. Going to YogaSol means you will have a very good day- even if facing challenges you will be more centered and calm and that is a gift beyond measure.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As someone who's new to yoga and got invited to do Hot Yoga... the experience as a whole wasn't that good. In short, I don't recommend this place to someone who's new to Yoga, the place isn't really welcome to beginners as the place seems more open to people who do yoga on the daily and the "locker" room is pretty small and uncomfortable. Here's more on my review:

I had a hot yoga session at 10am on August 12th and I kinda felt something was a bit off in the beginng even before the session started. The instructor, Lauren Sussman, asked if I was new and as soon as I said yes she immediately told me to go to the back of the room and throughout the session it felt like she called me out a few times saying that I'm doing the poses wrong, even though she told me to go in the back I wasn't able to see her do the poses well, so much for it to be "relaxing" but how can you be relaxed when the intstrctor critiques you in front of everyone? And then when the session was over and I went to the "locker room", I opened the door to see so many women undressed and I felt really uncomfortable as there doesn't seem to be any changing stalls, so I quickly got my things and left... I didn't like that at all.

I gave an extra +1 star because Yogasol emailed me back quickly on this matter and was able to delete my account. If you're finding a place to start doing yoga, don't come here. Maybe come if you're REALLY good at yoga.

A great studio for 26+2. Matt always makes me laugh as he always facilitates smooth classes.
The studio is very clean and the staff and members are great! The heating system efficiently creates just the right environment.
Glad I found you 😊

I started practicing Bikram about 10 years ago and can honestly say it has changed my mental & physical health in amazingly positive ways. I've always been an athlete and in shape but hot yoga at YogaSol has become an integral part of my regimen. The YogaSol team shares their passion and experience daily. The people, the studio and the yoga family at YogaSol are a huge part of my life. It’s an amazing studio!

After a year of searching for a good hot yoga studio, I am so thankful to have found YogaSol. The owners Dan and Jeanne, who are incredibly kind and accommodating, maintain a bright and welcoming space for all.

YogaSol is also the first studio where I've had a great experience with every instructor. Matt in particular has provided many helpful adjustments, which have allowed me to quickly overcome challenges I've had in the past with several poses.

This positive experience brings me back to YogaSol several times a week and I look forward to continuing my practice at the studio for many years to come.

I bought the free trial for $50 and NEVER took a class there as i was still pondering how much i wanted to participate in hot yoga. Finally decided I did not want to do hot yoga and and the owner himself told me "they dont normally do refunds" and then said he would email me. Never heard back from him again. These people are not real yogis just a bunch of pretentious money grubbers. Doors always seem to be locked and phones are never answered when i call. What a scam

A wonderful studio for getting the most out of a hot yoga practice. Clean and spacious with excellent air purification and a state of the art heating system, YogSol is top notch. Dan, Jeanne (and the entire teaching staff) go to great lengths to help people at all levels to enjoy being present, improve their practice and feel safe during these challenging times. In addition, the community feel of the studio is warm and friendly, which makes the whole experience that much better. I've been practicing here for many years and look forward to many more!

Dan and Jeannie have created a wonderful studio for the practice of yoga. For someone such as myself who has bad knees , I wonder where I would be if I didn't have this yoga. It has kept me limber and mobile. I love starting my day with a class along side my fellow yogis who have become my family.

YogaSol has become an indispensable part of my health and wellness routine. I came as a beginner seeking physical restoration, with persistent back pain and poor flexibility. Within months my back pain vanished and over time I received benefits I could have never imagined. I am grateful for the owners, practitioners and classmates who welcomed me, patiently guided me and made my experience fun and transformative.

Edie was very rude to me as well. She has a snobby, dispassionate attitude and I have no interest in coming back here and will recommend for others to do the same. It is CRYSTAL CLEAR that you guys protect precious Edie and the other employees over the customer's feelings in a way that again, comes off snobby and dispassionate. I worked in customer service for over 11 years and have been practicing hoy yoga for 10 and I can honestly easily say you all really need to get over yourselves. I also left before taking a class because of the unwelcoming vibes you give off. And Edie, you'd never be hired in my store

I have been looking for a hot yoga place since I’ve recently moved to Norwalk. I came in for the first time recently and was greeted nicely by someone at the front desk. She asked me to fill out my information on a sheet. I did, but then Edie came up front and was EXTREMELY RUDE! She dismissed the form I filled out and told me to fill out the form on the iPad. I was confused and asked her a question and she snapped at me and said I told you to fill this out here. Just so rude and mean. She really seemed like she didn’t want to bothered at all by me. I was confused about what I was filling out and payment and she said I’ll deal with that after just do what I told you to do first.
I ended up leaving and not taking a class. I will NOT be returning. For the cost of a membership I would hope a first time user would be greeted nicely and welcoming and not feel uncomfortable and greeted with hostility. Edie needs some redirection on how to treat people. I’m not sure how she is as an instructor, but that encounter guaranteed I will never return.

My most recent experience at Yoga Sol was very disappointing. The instructor, Edie, was extremely rude and not qualified to teach students with advanced yoga skills. I am from Asia and studied with a Yogi from India for over 10 years . My flexibility allows me to get into positions that Edie is not familiar with . She publicly criticized me in front of the class several times because I was in the correct pose, but it was not what she was teaching to the class . Based on the poor attitude of Edie, I will not go back to Yoga Sol.

I don't recommend that you go here as a Bikram novice. If you take too long of a break to adjust to the heat, they ask you to leave the class. I was told, by email, to try to stay in order to adjust, but the instructor clearly didn't get the note. Not ok and not going back. Part of yoga is love and support. No love here.

Yogasol is my second home. I love all the people there and the instructors! They are all compassionate and unique in very special ways. Lauren, who teaches Monday and Tuesday at the studio is not just an amazing teacher, she is a special person and friend. She ends each class saying, "Pray for Peace, Namaste". That is the warmth and kindness that makes YogaSol such a caring and friendly environment. Ellie Litton

In response to the post above regarding Lauren's 9:30 class yesterday. I have been attending classes at this studio and it's predecessor studio for almost 16 years. I have attended Lauren's class throughout the years. I have also attended classes throughout the country and abroad. I can say that as a regular practitioner, Lauren is one of the best teachers I have ever had. While the class is rigorous, this is fundamentally part of the practice. It is meant to teach students how to breathe through intense physical exercise. It is a class that is meant for all levels, and one should take the class recognizing that every body has limits. That said, the series was designed to push your body and is a form of interval training. I attended Lauren's class yesterday and she was NOT rude or condescending. Lauren is a coach, like any other Bikram yoga teacher who will push you BUT it is by no means rude or condescending. Teachers are meant to correct you in postures, coach you, and suggest corrections to to help with alignment and give students the opportunity to push their body to their max potential for that day. I have been in competitive sports my entire life and wish I had a coach as gentle and motivating as Lauren. I guarantee that you will be hard pressed to find a teacher and coach as motivational as Lauren.

Technically the experience was fine-- the class was somewhat rigorous, the instruction exact though often quite punishing, the space acceptable, clean, reasonably well laid out; my problem in particular was with the tone, and the delivery of the instructor and helpers at the studio. Any business needs to recognize the need to welcome and encourage fresh blood. In doing so any new participant should be received and introduced to the practice and the routine at hand. The particular instructor was condescending, rude, harsh and cruel at times; the opposite of what this type of experience should include. Namaste.

Love the vibe here! I'm a Kripalu teacher but I love all yoga styles. Dan and his team always make me feel welcome and I have tried 5 different teachers and they each have something unique to offer. Dan's is my favorite class, and his music class is not to be missed. The studio is fantastic! Big brand new classroom, beautiful locker room and lobby. It's a place where you'll want to hang out long after the sweat stops.

Bikram YogaSol is a beautiful new studio (one full wall of windows) with excellent teachers and a full schedule: 90-minute traditional Bikram hot yoga, 75-minute Bikram music, plus some additional classes. The heat and humidity are well-regulated, and there are lockers and showers in the dressing rooms. The students and the teachers make the studio!

This is a beautiful studio... it's clean and the staff is so vibrant, friendly, and encouraging! I appreciate the corrections during class, I love the MUSIC classes, and one of my favorite things is walking into the calm peacefulness of the studio. An A+ to the teachers who are so welcoming and greet each student with a smile. I recommend YogaSol Bikram Yoga to EVERYONE!!! Come and try a class!! There are showers and locker rooms so it's perfect before or after work :D
