This morning I got join a group exercise class by invitation through a friend of mine. Zach came over and introduced himself and welcomed me to the gym. The facility was really clean and everyone there had a great vibe. We rotated with groups through 3 sets of full body exercises with great mix of cables, free weights, and body weight hitting all the major muscle groups. His attention and input recommended weights, my form and isolation was really great! The class moved on point and it was easy to follow along. Highly recommend!

If you want a gym that feels more like a family rather than a meat market, this is the place for you! I started personal training with Zach in October and have already lost 18.5 lbs. He is knowledgeable about all body types and gives you realistic routines and goals that don’t feel unattainable in today’s modern mayhem.
The USMC has unfortunately instilled in me an unhealthy relationship with working out, but since starting at Anew Fitness I actually get excited about training sessions because of Zach’s ability to know a persons limits and respect them, while still pushing you and making it fun. Zach is a rare trainer who helped me understand that my physical health and my mental health go hand in hand.
I could say more but I don’t want to make it weird. Just go here. You won’t be disappointed.

I highly recommend Zach at Anew Training. I’ve been attending group sessions for the past 5 months and have seen significant changes in my muscle strength, weight loss, better sleep and have lost several inches. It’s not just a gym. It’s like family. Everyone supports and encourages each other in the gym and outside the gym. It’s accountability. We all know Zach will ask us about our nutrition and encourages us to eat that protein. He will make sure our form is correct so we don’t injure ourselves. Will also periodically check on us to make sure we are good after a heavy lift day. I’ve been to other gyms but none of them ever produced the outcome I have seen with my health and muscle definition since joining Anew Training.

A safe, open space to workout in. A group environment but also a personal feel to it. Zach is very knowledgeable and will answer any questions - even if they may sound silly! He helps you navigate through workouts even if they seem impossible. Zach engages everyone to build a healthier, better lifestyle (without any judgement) by having you challenge yourself!
I can now pick up 40lb dog food bags without breaking a sweat or my back!
Update 5 months later:
Experience is better than ever!! I have been staying consistent and becoming stronger 💪🏼 but this wouldn’t be possible with Zach challenging me, holding me accountable and creating a safe space to workout in. It’s wonderful to be apart of a strong community. You will be able to attend hangouts in the community, create friendship, join in on group pictures and of course learn every Taylor swift song (her version only). Mission: Becoming Better!

I’ve been coming to Anew since June and I have seen so many positive changes in my physical health as well as my mental health. I love the smaller size group classes because I get to workout with a great community of people while also receiving 1 on 1 help from Zach.
He has created a warm, welcoming environment at Anew that’s not always easy to find! Zach is a great trainer, he’s extremely knowledgeable and because of that is able to work with clients of all kinds whether they’ve been training majority of their life or are new to working out.
It’s easy to see that he loves caring for people and making sure they reach both physical and personal goals!!

I cannot express enough how much my life has changed for the better since I began training with Zach at Anew! I’ve always enjoyed working out but there’s something to say about the accountability and encouragement you get with one on one training. He challenges us to push past the limits we’ve placed on ourselves, encourages through the hard times yet gives grace when you need it. I’ve learned a lot about my daily habits, and have crushed a ton of my goals so far. I’m stoked for what’s to come 💪🏼

The best gym ever! As a recently “retired” college athlete I was really nervous about the transition from team lifts to working out individually. Luckily I found my team here! The people are so supportive and push me to be better. Zach is also phenomenal and has a plethora of information in regards to health and fitness. He does a great job of helping me not only understand how to do certain movements but why we are doing them. He has also created the most welcoming gym environment and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else!!!

I have been training for 5 months now, and my confidence in myself and about myself have positively increased! I have seen scale victories and non scale victories! I have been able to do more With my family, such as fitting into amusement park rides comfortably without the fear of not being able to ride with my kids. Anew 100% has changed my mindset and creating an environment where I feel welcomed along this long term journey to being healthy!

Zach Childress is hands down the BEST trainer out there! He is the most down to earth and caring person I know and has truly changed my life in more ways than he can even imagine. Zach has been absolutely great for my training goals. I’m 42 years young, trained on and off since high school and I must say that investing with Anew Training has been a game changer for me. Training over 40 with sore shoulders and knees can be frustrating and overwhelming but when you have Zach in your corner, you can rest assured that he is there to help you reach your goals safely and effectively. I still hate toes-to-bar though. Lol

Before I started training with Zach I had always believed that the only way to get in shape was to do cardio. Well, as I’ve gotten older (and retired from the military) I have several old injuries that kept me from being able to do high-impact activities. Zach developed a program specific to my goals and my “issues” that included weightlifting, resistance training, and mobility training. He also helped me to incorporate a nutrition plan that was very realistic. The results I’ve seen so far -
- I’m definitely getting stronger!💪🏼
- I’m able to wear clothes that I didn’t think I’d fit into ever again.
- I’m sleeping better.
- Most importantly, I feel like I’m back in control of my own health.
I can’t recommend ANEW Training highly enough!

My 15 year old son started at Anew with the goals to build confidence, increase physical strength and improve his overall health. Zach has been great in providing an atmosphere that encourages and pushes you to your best. I am incredibly pleased with the progress I have seen in my son’s mobility and strength.
