If you're just getting started toward a healthier lifestyle, into fitness or a fitness professional you can appreciate the truth. This club is a "you get what you pay for type club." Ratings - poor for cleanliness, dust & built in dirt. Poor lighting, sound, HVAC & layout of group ex studios, training areas. Not open 24 hours, false advertising. Restrictions on "everyone" working out. Can only access group ex schedule from poorly rated app. Website is deceiving, video has no real time operations. Best thing about the club is the Monday, Friday, Saturday Zumba class. Tuesday & Sunday was good til someone added a fake HIIT class on Tuesday. 🙄

Good gym especially for the price, however being open until 7PM on the weekend especially Saturday; the day the most people are bound to come is crazy. That’s entirely too early in my opinion especially considering it was once a “24 hour gym”. Even the mall out here is open until at least 8 on Saturdays and that’s still relatively early

Super clean they have tons of bottles and rags for you to use to wipe down equipment before and after you use it. I love this. I absolutely loved loved this.

I got the day pass and wasn’t sure about paying 15 bucks but definitely worth the money!

They have an amazing sauna inside the women’s locker room. Some of their equipment is old, but everything is clean and everything works so whatever.

if you want to cancel you have to go in person and can’t do anything online which is weird because you can sign up and apply for the membership online so if you move you better cancel it before it’s too late and pay for the months you did miss because it builds up quick and adds another $20 late fee 😐

I’ve been going to the gym for almost 4 years now. The equipment is well maintained, the staff is super friendly and helpful and the gym itself is very clean. Plenty of equipment options and space to get any workout done, open 24 hours so you have plenty of options on time to go in. This place offers a variety of classes and also trainers to help you get to the next step in your fitness journey. Locker rooms with shower and sauna, boxing room, multiple training rooms, tanning booths, vending machine with pre workout and protein shakes and more! Everyone feels comfortable coming to this gym regardless of age, gender, it’s super friendly and inviting. If you’re in the Dover area I can’t recommend club fitness enough!

I’ve visited several places between Bear and Salisbury, and this one is by far my favorite. While there was a significant issue at one point, the team resolved it quickly and efficiently. I love Club Fitness. I've had gym memberships before at other places but the Club checks all the boxes. I've had a membership here for years. Lots of free weights, squat racks , functional training, cardio , tanning and saunas. And a lot of cool trainers/workers that are always willing to answer questions. Love it here!

Be cautious of hidden charges! Their staff isn't very supportive either. I was with them for two years, and they ended up charging me the annual fee twice. Retrieving my money took a lot of arguing, and I ultimately decided to cancel. Ever since Doug was caught stealing from them, it seems they've been trying to compensate for it. That’s probably why they removed his picture from the "Wall of Fame." Pay close attention to those monthly fees; you can’t really place your trust in these people anymore. Their integrity has declined significantly. They impose equipment fees, and much of it is in poor condition.

Honestly, my favorite gym, it has everything you need and more. Women have the option for a private room to work out in if they feel it's necessary. From cardio, instructed classes, to powerlifting rooms they have it.

I have been coming here for almost three years now and I am very pleased with the gym itself and the customer service that I receive from the staff. The classes are always fun. Sometimes they get pretty crowded, but it's understandable. I love the fact that there is a separate section for seniors. So when I bring my mom, she has her space and there's always plenty of equipment available. One of the most pleasurable things is that the gym is always clean!

Generally speaking, it’s a decent place. Plenty of equipment, good spacing. Cleanliness depends on who’s on duty. If the one guy who doesn’t sit around is working? The restrooms are dependably clean and maintained. If he is not? Well, you can guess how things can quickly deteriorate.

I wish there were (4) more men like, Mr. Mike on staff. If there were, the facility would have minimal issues, I believe.

So far so good as far as the gym membership goes its amazing and amazing class teachers for the zumba and cycling etc but I'm leaving out 2stars because of the club kids, the black older lady there was so rude with nasty attitude, my daughter was crying and she just ignored her, I heard her voice from where I was working out and ran in there asking what's going on and she completely ignored me and continued wiping off the toys, like she wasn't even trying to calm my 1yr old daughter down if was the other white lady that explained they asked her not to do something n she kept doing it. The black older lady was really very nasty and uncaring if u know children piss u off why would u work with them?? Also, because I owe gym membership she would not let me let my children n my children club fitness was already paid its my first time missing gym membership payments they other staffs were willing to allow me workout but it was so difficult to allow my children in clubkids and I wasn't even owing for the clubkids n she knew I literally just paid for it the previous week. Smh I will cancel the club kids and diffinitely not taking my children there nomore.

•Metal shavings on the floor in the tanning room.
•I’ve had to ask for towels a total 6 times I’ve gone to the front desk within the past two weeks because there are zero upstairs.
•Water machines broken lol
•Also, if you tan don’t use room 1 upstairs because the bed has literally the front half on the floor and doesn’t shut properly so it constantly shuts on you while cleaning.

We have Been coming for years and we love this place, the staff is friendly and helpful when needed. We bring both our young girls to the daycare centers while we work out and it’s huge and they always have a great time. Super clean and tons of space. Having the girls room is great, only complaint would be the girls room and having matching dumbbells.

Selection of equipment is good but opening hours are inconsistent. For weekdays signage says 5 am, flyers at desk say 430 am, employees told me 4 am. Seems to change day to day as to when morning employee shows up, since doors get unlocked anytime between 4 and 5 am.

Huge assortment of equipment! Also has a workout room just for woman and another workout room for Seniors. The spin classes are great especially the yoga spin class. 60 mins of spin followed by 30 mins of yoga. Great for stretching after a hard workout!!!You should call regarding a change in hours. Apparently they are no longer open 24/7. Scheduled classes do change periodically so might want to check the weekly schedules.

I used to go to this place 2 years ago, this place have been decreasing in quality and service. Poor maintenance of the equipment. So where all the pricey membership money goes?. You pay $30 a month for them to close at 7pm?, for members to use damaged ,poor equipment? Come on..People have a life right after normal working hours , so by the time the daily work/ home routine is completed you won't have time for a good workout, you have to rush to try to get half-hour of workout. The majority of the staff have no work ethic, rude talk, not as friendly as they used to be when the previous management had it. Everyone is leaving and I project this business will be done within the next year or 2. A lot of members ha e migrated to nearby gyms... You have time to fix this CLUBFITNESS.

The gym itself is great, the staff are friendly, and I enjoy working out there. However the new hours are very annoying. I only had the PREFERRED membership for the 24 hour access because I work third shift. Which is $21.99 a month. But now they changed their hours, so the preferred membership only gets you in until midnight. While the basic plan is 8pm. So you are paying almost double the price of basic for now a few hours of extra time and tanning with aerobics classes. I had to downgrade my membership. I will still go to the gym, but this is very inconvenient now finding time to go.

I’m a platinum member, which should allow me access to all areas of the gym, however it doesn’t, the new boxing studio is only for trainers. There are several TV monitors not all currently working and for some reason they choose not to air this season NFL Football on Sundays that’s a problem no Sunday cardio for me. The gym is clean and sanitizer stations are available throughout the gym. There is plenty of equipment, weight rooms, core room, women's, group & senior workout rooms. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I would have given 4 stars if they aired NFL like most gyms do.

Good sized gym with standard cardio, weights, ab room, boxing room, Olympic lifting area, women only room, over 65 room, and platinum member area. This gym hosts a kids zone for parents visiting the gym, however I'd call before to check the ages, rules and hours. The women's room is small with a few cardio machines, a limited selection of weights, a smith machine, and other leg exercise machines. There are monitors in the women's room for moms to watch their children in the kids zone, small plus. The main gym is moderately sized, however the machines are quite close together and it gets pretty packed during peak hours. Upstairs in an assortment of machines, including the ab room. I will say they did a decent job with the ab room layout and have an assortment of machines and equipment for core training.
Club fitness hosts group classes, but I haven't attended any so I can't speak to them.
Additionally, there is tanning available, if that's your thing.
Overall a good gym but it can get very busy and the machines are a tad congested.

Joined because they advertised a daycare during workouts in the mist of the pandemic. I signed up on the website as it said the daycare was open with limited capacity. As a single mother this was very important to me. The sole reason I chose this gym. Arrived with my child the first day, manager stopped me and told me no children are not allowed in. Manager stated the daycare was closed during the pandemic, showed her the website stating it was indeed open. She said that’s old they should have removed it. Asked to cancel my membership and she requested I send an email. I did immediately. I was very upset and my child was in tears. I was a member for less than a week, I didn’t get to use the gym because I was turned around and they attempted to charge my card for months after that and kept calling threatening to cancel my membership. THE SAME MEMBERSHIP I CANCELLED and received confirmation on the cancellation. After a few months they stopped calling and started sending a letter saying I owed them $300. It’s a scam. Don’t believe the advertisements. Hidden charges and they won’t allow you to cancel.

I canceled my membership over 4 months ago I was told October would be my last payment. They have continued to take money every month after canceling. When u walk in ur told no Manger is there and when calling they are always in a meeting. I spoke with CJ and Carli and no manager has called back as of 1/13/22. Another $30 out of my acct. We canceled because we were not told our 16 year old could not come with us and be our guest when signing up it did not say in contact ur guest must be 18 or older. Believe everyone that says these people are THIEVES!! This is a scam as soon as it's time to cancel a membership they are obviously hard up for money . I had no way to cancel when I moved during pandemic yet they kept charging my account and sent it to collections . I had no idea until then. I got no notification that they were going to freeze my account and unfreeze it . Who would have known what's going on in the first place or if they were even going to open back up the contract should be void at this point !!! I understand it’s a big facility but it feels like a sauna in the summer time. I've always gone here because of the women's room. I like the privacy of having a workout room to yourself so you don't feel like you're being watched, and this is the only budget friendly gym that I know of that offers it. I only have a few complaints--the equipment is old. Maybe it's just the women's room, but the ellipticals seem to be breaking down and there's no place to put your water bottle because the holders are broken. I've been a member on and off for years now, and it seems as though the quality continues to decrease over the years. The customer service also isn't the greatest if you have an issue. Each time I reach out it feels as though I'm being a bother and I don't really get any explanations/help. Other than that, the gym itself is decent.

Very poor customer service, I went in person the day before my next payment so I can beat the cancelation for the payment after, with me literally being there in person I was still told to email to Cancel my membership weird right? The gym itself is great. Plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, weights, abdominal room etc. The front desk staff just looks at you, no greeting, masks not properly worn. The locker room is a huge source of cross contamination. Men use the urinals, toilets, turn on the faucet, wash their hands and turn off the water faucet with their washed hands. They’re basically touching a faucet that a few dozen men have used, who were touching their private parts and possible spread of fecal matter. Improperly worn masks are not corrected.

Everyone seems to be socially dispensing. Club fitness is like a second home to me. I like the mix of cardio and weights. There are all types there, and all types are welcomed. There are some really fit people there men and women, some average people working to improve and some overweight people determined to take back their fitness. But what you won't find is any smug superior attitudes. Everyone seems cool and supportive. I recommend club fitness to all my friends. I must like it because I drive past 3 places closer to my home, and I also skip Dover Air force base which is free to retirees like me.

The gym is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, yet the owner is still taking monthly membership dues. I guess she feels that we need to pay her bills... Since nobody is in the gym, nobody is there to answer the phone to SUSPEND all memberships until we are allowed to go back to the gym!! You can cancel my membership because that is a s#!tty business practice to have...

My "statement is not untrue". I called the day the gym was closing at 8am and I asked to speak to a manager about upcoming billing. I was briefly put on hold and then a male employee answered and stated that ADT processed your billing at that all billing was being suspended that day, not the following day or week or month, but that day. He assured me that I would not be charged which was coming up in five days at that time. Then low and behold, I got an auto deduction from my checking account for my membership dues. That is why I stated that was a s#!tty business practice. Either you wanted to get paid the dues upcoming or your employees do NOT know what they are talking about when they answer the phones. Also, to respond to your "received a credit", please review my account and show me my credit that you claim to have given me, because as I see it, my bank account is still $10 light...
