I’ve been asked multiple times by staff whether I’m a resident or an office tenant of the Market West building, where CoreTen is located — and on one occasion, a staff member even referred to me as an outsider. This really captures the culture of exclusion that seems pervasive in this building.

I’ve even noticed music played over the loudspeakers that carries an “outsider, get out” tone, which only reinforces that atmosphere. Of all the gyms I’ve ever joined, I’ve never felt quite as unwelcome as with this one.

It’s a shame, because this attitude creates a strange divide between residents and office tenants — a dynamic that, in the long run, works against the professional business community that BPG should be trying to attract to Market West.

This is a great gym! They have it all from classes to the sauna! Staff is super friendly and motivating! I love to work out here on my lunch break from work and they make it so easy.

This place is awesome. If you want a gym with good energy (shoutout REBECCA at the front desk) this is the one for you. It’s low key and has all necessary functional/dynamic equipment (racks, sleds, tires, gymnastic rings, etc…). Also give Rebecca a raise thanks bye

"I'm thoroughly impressed with this gym! The owner is super friendly and welcoming, and the entire team is always ready to lend a helping hand. The atmosphere is positive and supportive, with a community of nice people who make working out enjoyable. The facilities are spotless and well-maintained, and the staff is always happy to provide guidance or instruction if you need it. Plus, the gym is easily accessible, making it convenient for everyone.

I previously had a membership and when I decided to move on because I felt the facility was mostly interested in the clients that used group fitness. Showers were moldy and often the sauna was closed for an extended time. I would consider this a possible choice if I was not serious about my workouts. Each week another piece of equipment would disappear and they had an abundance of treadmills that were not in use. Looked great in the photos but if your looking for a real gym look elsewhere. Finally when I did decide to leave they told me I had to pay for the next two months so keep that in mind.

Had a great experience at this gym training with Rebeca. The staff was super nice. She was an amazing trainer and I highly recommend going to her. The gym is very clean, open, and just a great design. Very comfortable and relaxing environment

This is a great gym located in the heart of Wilmington's business district. The facilities come with all of the equipment necessary for whatever gym experience you are looking for, offer a variety of classes, follow COVID protocols and are generally well maintained. Not overcrowded when I am there (early mornings). I also look forward to using the sauna once the pandemic is under control! The manager Rebecca is fantastic and even offered me a few free sessions to make sure it was the right fit for me. Really a first rate gym experience for all experience levels. Become a member and make yourself a better version of you.

Oh yeah, and I wont be cancelling any time soon, but if you need flexibility, you get it here. They won't make you jump through a million hoops to cancel your membership. Never going back to the big corporate gyms..

Was previously a member of this gym before the pandemic and everything was great. I cancelled my membership after moving out of the area about a year ago, and now, since early January 2021, my card that was on file has had the monthly membership fee try and get put thru every single day for about 10 days now. I tried to call and email this gym for a week and didn't hear anything back. Incredibly frustrated to experience such bad communication, and I would avoid this gym due to my experience. I understand system malfunctions happen, but I didn't hear anything for a week and all I got was a notification saying my card was declined. Unacceptable.

CoreTen Fitness is always the best gym going. Best prices, most locations, excellent equipment. Unless you're a professional body builder, going anywhere is almost insane. Absolutely love this place.

You know how spas just smell amazing?? That's how CoreTen is... This gym is like a little portion of peace right in the office building. I come from The Mill to use CoreTen's space, and always feel welcomed when I arrive and refreshed when I leave. I love all the little touches in the bathroom, too... this place is like Equinox but with local heart. Props to BP, Rebecca (sp?) and the team for creating a beautiful fitness space.

CoreTen is a great facility with great staff. Their towel service and stocked locker rooms make my morning routine very easy. I have been to the 6am group classes for over 1 1/2 years and would recommend to anyone. The instructors are knowledgeable and very personable. I love this gym!

The place is very clean and the showers/locker rooms have nice amenities. I've gone a couple times in the early evening and it is not overly crowded. There are no windows and I didn't get cell phone services in the equipment room. It feels a bit like working out in a basement. The pricing is on the higher end. Group classes are not included in a standard membership. With the 15% discount I was offered, it was $50/month for just the gym equipment and $80/month for access to group classes and a towel. This is much higher than the Y down the street which offers $65/month (not discounted) for full access to classes, equipment, and a pool.

Absolutely loved my short stay at this facility. Exceptionally clean, organized, and we'll maintained equipment. The locker rooms are tidy, showers are always sanitary, and the steam room is an added bonus after a hard workout. The staff is friendly, informative, and very professional. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to join a gym that is focused on true fitness, and doesn't have members that come in to "hang out".

Great gym, great trainers, love the atmosphere, and the midday class selections. They have a smoothie bar, towel service, and great amenities in the locker rooms (toiletries, mouth wash, razors, blow dryers, hair spray, etc.). Can't go wrong with a membership from here.

This was the worst gym I ever experienced. I was only a member for three months. The front desk staff is ran by young kids that are extremely unprofessional and do not listen. The price does not matchrhe service received. I would not recommend this this gym to anyone.
