It’s a great place but on weekends and Fridays when kids want to go play basketball or hit the gym they close to early. I feel like they should open up Saturday for a few extra hours cause some people got nothing else to do or students don’t got school🤷

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS FACILITY.
STRUCTURALLY: The building is falling apart. The roof has holes in it and the ceiling is literally falling in on the renters. Rain leaks everywhere including the walls, electrical outlets, and the stairs. Someone is going to get seriously hurt there. My unit was overpriced and a complete headache. There is a stink bug infestation accompanied with bees and wasp all throughout the spring and summer. I know for a fact that there is mold in the building and was told by inspectors not to expand my business in DFIT for fear that the room I wanted to rent shared an hvac system with the room that had mold in it. The hvac system in my unit broke 6 months into the lease and they refused to do anything about it. There were times where I had to cancel classes for the safety of my students because the entire floor would be 80° or beyond freezing cold. They made no effort to correct these errors. Management would claim that the room was rented "As Is" which New Castle County Code Enforcement informed me was incorrect because the hvac system was provided when I initially rented the unit. It is also illegal to rent a unit without heat. They informed me that they would be issuing DFIT numerous violations which apparently was not something new between this and their other new castle facility. I literally witnessed the owner spray painting over water stains in my unit.

OPERATIONS: My experience renting from this place was horrible from the very beginning. Let's talk about the larger things. They hired a property manager that was inexperienced, problematic, and dangerous. When I finally met the politician owner, he claimed that this property manager was not a property manager but was in fact a maintenance man even though the property manager showed me the unit, created the lease, was my only point of contact, signed the lease (which includes a space for the owners signature), collected the rent, and had defamatory public conversations with the owner about my business. Though I was told renters received a code to the building to lock up. Once the lease started, I was told that I could not come and go as I pleased and had to operate within the building hours. Yet, the building hours would change with no notice. The property manager attempted to extort me for hundreds of dollars which he said came from management for each individual one of my private bookings. The property manager would walk in on my dance classes or private bookings whenever he felt like it and used my spare key to enter my unit when I was not there. The facility was aware of how problematic and dangerous he was and kept him around. When the lease ended, they attempted to withhold my security deposit because they "lost" my lease. Luckily I provided a copy.

The problems that I have with this gym are for many reasons. One is that the exercise equipment is very old or outdated. Two is the hot tub and sauna. Furthermore, the hot tub and the sauna equipment are not clean and needs to have new hot tub, sauna and exercise equipment. The facilities look ok but needs to be ahead of the times. The pool is fine, no issues there.

The place is very outdated and unsanitary. Only a couple front desk people are friendly. The equipment and weights are covered in rust and dirt. Dont wear any good gym apparel because it will become stained and ruined. The ONLY good thing is that it doesnt get too crowded like some commerical gyms.

Very reasonable fees for a complete workout facility. It's older equipment but who cares when it all works? I have checked out several other gyms in the area and always found their prices to be astronomical or key equipment is always broken. And last but far from least, the locker rooms have full showers, dry sauna and a steam room that actually gets hot! Definitely going to keep coming back to work out and relax.

A gym that's seen better days, but hey, it's cheap. Definitely a case of you get what you pay for. Lots of muscleheads in the back weight rooms, some super salty language, an annoying young guy with the biggest mouth ever prancing around, running the show, but actually not doing much of anything. If you can stand all that you'll be fine here.

I had complained to the owner of D-fit, state representative Mike Ramone and his family because the fitness room is cold for yoga. The thermostat has not been fixed for a month. The manager at D-fit blew me off. Now I heard that D-fit has banned me from the facility without telling me why . Taking my money and telling me I cannot go into the facility. Do you want to join such a club - I think NOT! All I ever wanted was the room be kept warm for yoga class and now I am being banned. For speaking my mind. State Representative - what kind of country do we live in where you can ban members and take their money.
IN RESPONSE to the owner - 1. the thermostat is still not fix. It has been a month without heat in the yoga room. Plus, I only found out I was banned when I went in to your facility to find out the status of my membership as I was told by other members, who are very good friends with me, that I may have been banned. You did not have the decency to let me know that I have been banned. - 2. You or State Rep Mike Ramone, the owners, never responded to my concerns. - When I questioned your manager Isaiah, he just blew me off and said it was the instructors fault who broke the thermostat. This all could have been avoided, if you would have responded to my many messages and if Isaiah would not treat me as if I was trash. What happened in treating customers with respect. 3. As a customer, I wanted to get what I paid for and even though it came from AARP UHC, I still paid premiums for the services they render. So contrary, to what you may think, I do pay for these services. 4. When I froze in your room, I went directly to Isaiah and then found you. But, you and Isaiah decided to ignore me. Thus, there were no uncomfortable feelings from any other staff or members.

It's a decent gym for the price. The pool water is too warm and chlorinated. My eyes are irritated by the end of my longer swims, and the warmth makes keeping cool difficult. The locker room is definitely old and kinda outdated, could do with an update. Would recommend if you are on a budget. I cannot speak to anything else since I'm only using the pool.

The location is pleasant: quiet and not over-run with hoards of people. The staff persons are polite, and a variety of classes are available to members (and non-members). Some upgrades would make the place a bit brighter, but the large live plants around the pool create a very comfortable feel.

It's been 1 month of working out and I'm still fat, so for that I took a star. Just kidding, ok here's the deal. This reasonably priced gym is hardly ever crowded, no matter what time you decide to go I promise that you will still have an open treadmill or an open pool lane for all your cardio needs. Yes the equipment has seen better days but it still gets the job done. The staff is a bit of a mixed bag in terms of friendliness and competency but I've dealt with worse. Shout out to Dante for being extra kind, super fierce, and bilingual (que chevere)! Also there is a sauna and it's like heaven for sore muscles...you can even go in with a towel since it's located in the locker room (yay no creepers). Lastly, they sell shakes, I've been tempted to try one but there never seems to be a staff member available so I'm not sure how good they taste. There you have it, this gym is a hidden Pike Creek gem and I hope no one else finds out about it bwahahaha...

This place definitely needs an update; the nautilus machines are super old, and need to be replaced. The locker room and showers also need to be renovated. What I like about this place is that it is never crowded. I can get in and out w/o having to wait on using a piece of equipment. The pool is great!

I only used showers and swim pool today. The pool is 5 star, heated with 6 lanes a definite plus. Shower and Locke room were right out the fifties. Weight room looked good, but didn't use it. The staff were pleasant and helpful. That's as far as I got today.

I don't normally write reviews, but I wanted to say I love this gym. Though some equipment is outdated, they added new equipment as well. They have nice sections for weights, and cardio, and a section for just lifting. Also I hope in the future they keep the sanitizer wipes I actually really like knowing the machine is clean. The pool is nice, and the people are friendly too. Overall it's a great gym.

@all The male locker room of this Gym (Pike Creek) is a thief! On Monday, I found out that my password lock (TSA--commonly known as "customs lock") was gone, but there was not much in it. At first I thought that I forgot to lock the door and was taken away. Later I found the lock next to me (with my The money is also gone. After opening it, I found that there are not too few things (the swimming cap and the shampoo are all there), so I judged that it might be specifically to steal the lock? I hope that everyone who uses the TSA lock in the Gym men's locker room will change your lock as soon as possible to avoid more important things being stolen.

I go here to do swim, the classes, and to use the gym. Personally, I think it is a nice facility with much to offer for the price. The locker rooms are large with showers, changing rooms, and restrooms. It is a little dated, but definitley still nice. The pool is very nice, never crowded. I met the lifeguards and they were all very friendly. I definitley will continue to go here and recommend it to others.

I can't speak on the Gym aspect, however I could not get anyone in the swim area to get back in contact with me. I even went to the building and talked to the swimming folks and they told me to call leave a message with my phone number and they would get back to me. I called three times and no one called me back. I ended up just taking my little one to another place that did return phone calls.

My daughter can swim fairly well, however she does not have good knowledge of the different strokes. Suggestion was made that she get 30 minute personal lessons. Instructor was very friendly and very pleased with my daughter's first class. My daughter seamed to respond to instructions with ease. Session went well, she's eager to return. Her gold is to join a swim team. She just turned12

They charged my credit card for 2 months extra , my son did not show up to classes for 8 weeks. Excellent value for money swimming at Pike Creek location, cannot speak for the other location or other services. Staff is courteous and responsive to requests. Office always gives refunds when I am out temporarily for personal reasons. Consistent pool temperature and water condition. This gym has two locations and you can tell they ONLY PUT MONEY BACK INTO THE PIKE CREEK LOCATION. The one by Delaware memorial bridge, on route 9 is disgusting - locker room is disgusting, weights are so old and rusty, you would be lucky to find Dumbbells that matches. The steam room floor is disgusting. It really feels like they don't care about their clientele or what they think and it's a shame because it's in a great location and very convenient.

In one word - this gym is. EGREGIOUS!!!!!!!!
