Free to Be Yoga & Movement is pure magic!!
I completed my 200-hour YTT with Danielle, and it was truly transformational. Danielle embodies the essence of yoga — grounded, wise, compassionate, and so generous in sharing her knowledge. She creates a safe and inspiring space to learn, grow, and reconnect with yourself. The studio radiates warmth and community — every class, every conversation, every moment feels authentic and filled with love. I’m endlessly grateful for this experience and for Danielle’s heart-led guidance. ❤️🧘🏻♀️

I took the Strength to Mat: Dynamic Balance (Strength Training & Yin) class at Free to Be Yoga, and it was absolutely amazing. The perfect blend of challenge and restoration — I left tired in the best way possible, but also feeling grounded and fantastic. The strength work pushed me just enough, and the yin portion gave me the balance I didn’t even know I needed. Such a thoughtful, energizing, and rejuvenating class. Can’t wait to come back!

I've been attending this yoga studio for just over a year now, and I honestly can't say enough good things about it. All of the instructors are absolutely incredible, and they each bring such a welcoming and positive energy to every class. What I love most about Free To Be is how within each class, we not only experience the physical yoga practice, but we also learn and grow our mindset of yoga as a whole. Danielle, the owner, weaves in such impactful ideas that help center you beyond just the poses. She is amazing at breaking everything down so that no matter your age, experience level, or background, you feel totally comfortable and included. Honestly, it's been such a refreshing experience every time I step onto the mat. I can’t recommend this studio and Danielle enough!

Free to Be Yoga & Movement is unlike any other “wellness” studio you’ve been to. I’ve practiced yoga for over 15 years and have never come across a studio that is as special and unique as Free to Be. I’ve been a member for 11 months now and I really love that not only does Free to Be offer different types of yoga but there are strength classes, pilates and even special offerings such as sound healing, fun dance classes, SUP yoga outings and more.
Danielle and the instructors have cultivated an environment where you can be YOU. Free to Be is a community of learning, openness and warmth. Danielle’s energy and passion is something I just can’t put into words. She is AWESOME! Highly recommend trying a class and seeing for yourself just how fabulous Free to Be is!

Free to be yoga and movement has an awesome “Strength to Mat” kettle bell class that is amazing and unlike any workout class I’ve ever taken. It’s so fun and can be altered to anyone’s fitness level. It’s 45 minutes of kettlebell strength training and then the last 20 minutes of class we cool down with some soothing yoga and stretching for recovery. The instructor is so knowledgeable, friendly and always puts safety first making sure everyone understands the proper body dynamics and kettle bell grips so you feel safe and confident! The studio is such a welcoming space. I feel like a million bucks after this class! I would recommend this studio and the strength to mat class to all my friends and family.

Freetobeyoga is such an amazing studio! Its amazing owner Danielle has mastered the movement industry with over 20 years of professional experience that’s hard to beat.
In just the short year I’ve been practicing with her I’ve noticed not only has my physical movement improved dramatically but I’ve learned new asanas I never knew existed.
Spiritually I’ve been able to grow as well! Daily motivational lessons help greatly in improving mood and learning to handle the daily hurdles of everyday life.
As the studio officially opens teachers such as Otis, Mika, Kristen, and Rachael all are amazing talent that bring uniqueness, stability, and even further educational benefit to the world of yoga and the students of freetobeyoga.
As someone who’s been to several studios trust me when I say this is the one! The dedication of the whole team is sure to have a practice that is for everyone whether beginner or advanced. Come out and see what it’s all about

One of my most favorite places to be. I started out going 1 time a week and in just a few short months knowing this is my tribe and this is where I'm supposed to be, I'm up to at least 4 times a week. The new location is absolutely gorgeous and you can't beat the instructors. Go in with an open mind, and find your flow❤️❤️❤️

I figured I’d try out Free to Be Yoga & Movement after hearing a good review from a friend. I have to say I have never been to a more professional and relaxing, yet challenging yoga studio. Especially in Middletown. FINALLY someone with actual experience running a yoga studio with a bonus of good energy has blessed this town! I can’t wait to go back and will not be returning to my last studio which always gave me strange and mixed vibes. Thank you Free to Be Yoga & Movement for an amazing experience!
