House of Yoga (HofY) is an absolute hidden gem. 💎 Tucked away in a warm and cozy basement, it feels like a sanctuary from the moment you walk in. The space wraps you in comfort, and invites you to slow down and breathe deeply.
What truly sets HofY apart is the teacher’s intuitive, caring approach. The way massage is incorporated into some of the resting poses is nothing short of magical — those gentle, mindful adjustments melt tension you didn’t even know you were carrying. Every class leaves me feeling renewed in mind, body, and spirit.
If you’re looking for a place that feels personal, healing, and genuinely special, House of Yoga is it. I’m so grateful I found this beautiful little oasis.

A friend introduced me to House of yoga in 2018 and I’ve been hooked ever since. I tried yoga in 3 other places but House of Yoga is the best! Kiersten is amazing, the studio, the people that come to the studio, the “community” is wonderful. The variety of other classes available are also amazing I think I’ve tried most of them! Living Yoga, Chakra classes, sound baths, reiki and the Thai yoga one-on-one sessions. I always refer friends and family to go because I love it so much! The personal touches that Kiersten adds also make the yoga classes beyond compare with anywhere else! I can’t say enough about Kiersten and her studio!

I have been practicing yoga at Kiersten’s home studio now for about 2 years. During this time I have transformed my physical body, but have also elevated my mental health in a way that I didn’t know as possible. Kiersten teaches you how to practice yoga on and off the mat and she is a true example for what is possible. I am living yoga in my daily life now and not just going through the movements. I am forever grateful.

I love House of Yoga! I started as a complete beginner and Kiersten was great at explaining the poses, breathing and everything else. Several years later I have come a long way but am still learning and love the environment and instruction. Great for beginners and advanced yogis!! I’ve been to other places but none compare!

Kiersten is an exceptional yoga instructor! She is incredibly caring and truly takes the time to understand your needs. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced, she tailors her classes to help you grow and feel comfortable. Her calming presence and thoughtful approach create a welcoming environment where everyone feels supported. I always leave feeling rejuvenated and supported. I instantly felt her passion for helping others from day one and she has become a very important part of my life!

I absolutely love House of Yoga! The atmosphere is warm, relaxing, and inviting from the moment you walk in. Each class offers something unique — from gentle flows to more energizing sessions — and there’s always a perfect balance of mind, body, and spirit. The meditation and sound elements truly make the experience One of my favorite touches is during Shiva Snow, when we’re treated to a warm lavender towel — it’s pure bliss! You can tell how much care and thought goes into every detail here. This studio has become my sanctuary for self-care and peace.

I absolutely love this yoga studio! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and truly personal. Kiersten is such a wonderful instructor — personable, encouraging, and always attentive to everyone’s needs. Her classes strike the perfect balance between being challenging and adaptable for all skill levels, so you can push yourself while still feeling supported.
I also had my first sound bath and Thai yoga experiences here, and both were incredible! The sound bath was deeply relaxing and grounding, while Thai yoga offered a unique and rejuvenating stretch experience.
This studio has quickly become one of my favorite places for self-care and growth. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a meaningful and uplifting yoga community. 🙏

Once you come to House of Yoga, you will look no further. I have personally brought so many friends and family to have a chance to work with Kiersten as I know I can trust she will take care of them. She meets each client where they are, creates a supportive and open community and is an all around awesome human. If you are concerned about trying a class, get ahold of Kiersten. You won’t regret it.

I started going to House of Yoga in almost two years ago and my life has changed drastically. I had done yoga in the past at home through BeachBody and some in person sessions at other studios in the area so I wasn’t completely new to the exercise part of yoga but what is most powerful about Kierstine and House of Yoga is the mental and spiritual work at every single class. I have had awakenings on my mat that have changed my life in the best possible way. The community of like minded people is another reason why I love it so much. If you want to change your life for the better House of Yoga is the best possible place to start.

To say I am grateful for “HOY” (House of Yoga) & Kiersten is a grand understatement! I feel like I’m coming home to family EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I step foot through her incredibly peaceful & spacious home studio. Whether she is teaching Restorative, Yin or Vinyasa yoga (asana), co-teaching “Living Yoga”, giving Vedic Thai bodywork, or instructing a “YTT” (Yoga Teacher Training) semester, Kiersten is doing it all with kindness, love & positive energy.
Her yoga classes are always tailored to each participant, she gives gentle massages throughout them, and they end with a refreshing towel to either cool/heat yourself. Her Restorative class touches my soul and always helps to reset & ground me. Kiersten has taught me so much about self-care and confidence through many discussions about the Yamas and Niyamas. Her knowledge and passion for all things yoga continues to impress me. Her vinyasa class always pushes me in such a great way (I love how she makes me sweat without me even realizing it!). Yin is a fav of mine because I love getting into that fascia now (learned from Kiersten 😉).
And a Thai session with Kiersten?!
Wooooweeeee- what a beautiful and calming experience. Think “yoga….mixed with massage” (and you don’t even have to move barely at all!). It is so relaxing and soothing that I get one at least monthly now.
“HOY” has truly helped open my body & soul up to receive all the good things coming my way.

I tried to go here for a class and it's literally just someone's house and no one answered the number provided so I went to Truly Yoga instead and had a great class there.
