My wife convinced me to try a few sessions with Jasmin, a MyWowFit Personal Trainer, and I was definitely a skeptic. I'm not naturally into high-intensity stuff like HIIT and I was dealing with constant, annoying calf pain that flared up whenever I pushed myself.
Jasmin completely won me over. She immediately recognized the muscle imbalances causing the calf issue and tailored the workouts—even the HIIT portions—to focus on corrective strength first. She’s incredibly encouraging and totally non-judgmental, which was huge for a beginner like me. I actually started looking forward to the sessions because of her positive energy.
Now, the calf pain is gone, and I’m genuinely feeling stronger and more agile. If you're someone who thinks HIIT isn't for you, or if you're working around an old ache, Jasmin is the trainer you need. Highly, highly recommend her!

I am so grateful to have found Shashi during a time in my life when I needed support the most. I was going through a lot of stress, my husband was recovering from an illness, and I was navigating high blood pressure, arthritis, menopause, prediabetes and then extreme balance issues after a really bad inner ear infection. Shashi has been exactly what I needed: kind, supportive, empowering, gentle yet tough, and endlessly energetic, like an energizer bunny with a kind heart. She pays attention to any past injuries, she modifies on the spot if you're struggling but she knows just how much to push you, if you're doubting yourself but yet you can really do it.

What I love most about Shashi is her heart and skill. When I feel like giving up, she pushes me a little harder and reminds me what I’m capable of. She listens, truly listens and checks in with me consistently. Her holistic approach goes beyond physical health; she helps improve my mental health as well.

Thanks to her guidance I continue to heal, I no longer have high blood pressure or prediabetes and my arthritis hormones and balance have improved tremendously. I continue to get stronger both physically and mentally while losing weight. I am beyond grateful to have a trainer who genuinely cares about the whole me.

I am a teacher in my fifties who lost my mojo in the pandemic, and decided this year it was time to get back to life! I have been working with Jo Angelique on WOWfit for seven months now, and I can see and feel my body changing. I appreciate that we can work together in the comfort of my home in the wee hours of the morning (the only time it works for me!) and I love her care for my aching, aging body—the gradual build up of strength, the push I need to keep progressing, the positive feedback…it’s been great. Jo Angelique has changed my life - I was getting very depressed and blasé about my health, not good with a number of autoimmune issues. I was originally looking for a trainer for my mother, but decided to go ahead and try out Wowfit for myself. While I don’t push myself very hard, it’s been a slow road, 18 months varying between 2-3 times a week, but I look at myself and I look healthy, I don’t just feel healthy! My arms are toning, my stomach is tightening, and my balance is getting better! Jo has the best way to push you, extra weight or more reps dependent on the exercise, but she’s super mindful of how your body is feeling. We had a set back with my shoulder and back (moving furniture) and we are now back to full strength! I am so excited to continue working with her- she is kind, motivated, knows when to push you, and when to praise your efforts. I would not be here without her!
