I am writing this review on behalf of my girlfriend, who had a very upsetting experience at Planet Fitness milford 19963. She was wrongly charged a $15 late fee due to their system error, and when she tried to clarify, "One of the female staff members short with tied long hair"treated her with complete disrespect. After finishing a heated phone call, the turned to her with the same rude, dismissive attitude. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, she spoke in a harsh tone and acted as if my girlfriend was at fault.

I wanted to step in and question that Lady staff member/receptionist myself, but her behavior was already so unprofessional and hostile that it was clear arguing with her would go nowhere. It’s shocking that a front-desk employee can behave this way without any accountability. It makes me wonder if this location even has a supervisor or manager, because this is not the first time she has shown a nasty, condescending attitude toward members.

To make matters worse, my girlfriend felt that the way she spoke to her carried an undertone of discrimination. No customer should ever have to feel disrespected or singled out in this way. Planet Fitness needs to take this issue seriously and ensure that all members are treated fairly and respectfully.

My experience at Planet Fitness at evening around 6:00pm 8/19/2025 was extremely disappointing. I was wrongly charged a $15 late fee due to their own system error. I have been going to this gym for 2 years and have never once missed a payment, so this was very frustrating. When I questioned it, the staff member at the front desk — a short woman around 5’2” with long hair tied back — showed complete unprofessionalism. After finishing a loud phone call where she was yelling at someone, she turned to me with the same aggressive attitude. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, she spoke in a rude, dismissive tone and said, “this is the last time I’m waiving the fee,” as if I was at fault. This is unacceptable behavior. No paying member should ever be treated this way — especially when the error was caused by the gym’s own system. Planet Fitness needs to seriously address staff training and customer service standards.

Although a smaller gym, this was a 5 star before the equipment change. Now every thing is crammed together and too close for comfort. There are literally 2 bikes with a back and lower to the ground, which is what the seniors need for back support. The class is held in the small isle space making it difficult for those not in the class. I imagine it’s a big inconvenience for those in the class too. The trainer is loud and kind of distracting. However, the employees are great. Josiah and Janiayh always greet us when coming in and when leaving.

I have been a member for quite some time. During a recent equipment change, several machines were removed making it very difficult for many members to perform workouts for upper arms and the abdomen. The so called trainer blew me off when I asked for alternative exercises. Now searching for alternative places to work out. (No response is necessary)

There is a lot of equipment here to choose from, but there's also a lot of people working out most of the time so it makes it difficult to find an open machine. The staff barely acknowledges you as you enter. I think people could just walk right in and start working out without ever checking in.

The Planet Fitness here in Milford is big and bright. There is a large open area full of treadmills, rowing machines, bicycles, stairclimbers etc. There is plenty of free weights, Circut training room, PF 360 Room, Tanning and Massage chairs etc. The staff is polite and super friendly.

I joined the Planet Fitness on 7/18/23 as Black Card number under the military discount. In the beginning of this year my job keeps me very busy. I don’t have the time for exercise anymore. On the Mach of this year I went back to planet Fitness changed my number ships from black card to basic. I canceled my basics membership on the April of this year. I was told I will get annual fees, but nobody said anything about I’m going to get annual fee in 2 months after changed the plan. Because if they told me that I could cancel my membership in total on the first time. They charged me annually fees even I haven’t been there for a year yet and less than a month since I canceled my membership.

The facility is clean and machines are in great condition, The light bulb or florescent tube ligh at hydro massage bed 1 is flickering 24/7 it's been that way for a long time, mentioned it to staff and was told that "I know it glitches like that sometimes ohh well" I really don't care that much either but I think staff should at least leave a note for a manager or owner to get the bulb replaced, if a machine isint working right they fix it why not a light bulb? 😂 All and all its the only gym in town left and it's pretty clean, I will say it's always really busy here so getting on some machines can be a bit of a wait at times.

I have visited numerous Planet Fitness locations across the United States, and one aspect that consistently sets this company apart is their exceptional customer service. However, I must say that my experience at this particular location was disappointing in that regard.

Although my account is registered in another state, my partner and I attempted to use this facility only to encounter difficulties with the app. Despite seeking assistance, we were informed that we could not access the gym because staff members were unable to assist us with our issue. This lack of flexibility and support was truly disheartening.

It would greatly benefit the company to implement a system similar to the one utilized by Smartfit in Latin America, where members can seamlessly access their gyms across different countries. This would enhance the overall customer experience and alleviate frustrations for those traveling or relocating frequently.

Furthermore, I found the variety of machines at this location to be quite limited, considering the size of the gym. The lack of diverse equipment options may hinder members from completing their desired workouts effectively and efficiently.

My experience at Planet Fitness was awesome! I met with the trainer and he came up with a program for me and proceeded to take me to each machine I’ll use and demonstrated each one. Then I sat in on one of his classes.
