Quiero expresar mi molestia por lo que ocurrió hoy con mi esposa al llegar al gimnasio. Apenas entró, varias personas la miraron de manera incómoda y alguien incluso le preguntó si tenía otro tipo de ropa y zapatos para entrenar así mismo ella les contestó respetuosamente ya que no acostumbramos a responder de diferente forma.
Sinceramente, ese tipo de actitud está fuera de lugar.
Cada persona tiene derecho a llegar con la ropa que desee, especialmente cuando viene directo del trabajo, como fue su caso, y piensa cambiarse en los vestidores.
No es agradable sentirse juzgado por algo tan insignificante. Espero que esto no vuelva a pasar y que se garantice un ambiente respetuoso y profesional para todos los miembros.

I joined this gym several years ago. Then I moved downstate. They won’t let me cancel. I have tried multiple times. They say my account is inactive even though I now have three years of charges that I have paid since my move. The most recent one was several days ago. They made me use my checking account when I signed up, so I can’t just cancel my card and get rid of their theft. I called again and got a bunch of run around. The owner is on vacation. My account is not showing as active there, etc. I am sure I am not the only one screwed over. Don’t fall for this, you won’t be able to escape the payments.

This is my second year at Planet Fitness and I love the exercise experience…It’s the place for me and the gym is clean and the staff is friendly….

People are in here with no shirts on, using equipment and carrying around their little camera stacks to do content. Staff doing nothing.

Last I checked, PF had a policy against this behavior in their gyms. Good to see them enforcing it. /s

The manager is the rudest person I have ever meet in my life and he treats me rudely since I was registered there .i have been at many locations planet fitness jn dc where I live now or in New York and nowhere I had an issue before except of this place here .i am 7 months pregnant and she didn’t allowed me to go inside in the tanning room because I forgot my eyewear as she knows that I’m coming so many times and she charge me extra for a new pair of one . Always she is unsmiling and she talks badly to all the colleagues as I have seen and always ironic .also many times she doesn’t allows me to do tanning because I supposed i haven’t passed the 24 hours that is supposed is required (that’s not true) before my pregnancy that I used to go there every day by walking 30 minutes from my house .knowing that I have to go back to my house and to come back again because of this .

However, the flooding in the men's locker room was a major drawback, especially since there were no warning signs or notifications. Friendly staff, smaller club but still has lots of equipment. I will say some of the machines were quite old/rusty that it was impossible for me to adjust the seat. Lots of room in black card area and 2 hydros where you can check in yourself. All the other clubs I've been to the staff has to turn the machine on. We went at an off time and so it wasn't too busy. Showers had no mats outside of them just wet floor signs which shows they are most likely a problem as others have noted. Best thing about the changing room.was that they have hair dryers! Game changer.

No real complaints about the gym itself or the staff, equipment, etc. My problem with this location, and why I avoid it unless I have no other option, is that it gets so hot inside – there is not a single fan anywhere in the building, so there really is no airflow at all. This alone makes it extremely uncomfortable to do any sort of intense cardio.

Other PF locations have multiple massive overhead fans which I understand are not trivial to install, but I feel like they could at least have a couple of free-standing fans here and there to get some air moving through the gym. The situation is not helped by the fact that this is a smaller, more crowded location with lower ceilings than the other Wilmington-area PFs.

if you are not thermodynamically challenged like I am, this is a fine (if smaller) location with friendly staff and lots of regulars.

I will never in my life apply for planet fitness again nor will I recommend it. They make it absolutely a hassle to cancel the membership. I’m down over $100 because they continue to take money out of my account. I have tried canceling online, I have done it in person, I have spoken to people over the phone, I had to send emails, write letters. I still have not received a refund nor is my account canceled even though they continuously “cancel” my account. Ridiculous.

I’m a newbie to Planet Fitness. My first day there I quickly noticed Donna. She stood out because she welcomed me with a big smile. I went to change in the locker room and when I came out I saw Donna on her knees meticulously cleaning the machines. I was working out for over an hour, and as I was leaving i noticed Donna still on her knees cleaning the parts of the machines we don’t even see. It is so refreshing to see someone who truly loves what they do and cares so deeply for her guests safety and cleanliness. It gave me a sense of honor and pride walking into that Planet Fitness knowing there are employees truly care for their guests overall experience. Donna is a gem 💎

They are bunch of thugs. I cancel my membership month ago and they still charge me next month. I called asking about charges. They says, their system shows its cancel but they have no idea why I got charge. I called them again after a few days, then they changed their story stating system shows my membership was cancelled two days ago. I have cancellation confirmation email, which has cancellation date and everything. Planet fitness have policy of walk in cancellation only... I asked them who came in 2 days back on my behalf because It wasn't me. Manager (Arnold, Justinson street Branch, wilmington) got irritated by my queries and hung up on me. This is very unprofessional , they do not want to accept their mistake and rather showing rude behavior by giving my money back to me. STAY AWAY from such clubs.
