Horrible experience they wouldn’t let me bring my son in as a guest and wanted him to have his own membership despite me having the black card membership. Money hungry, and just pointless cash grab. This the only planet fitness that has given me issues and ruined the entire plan me and my son had without remorse.

I’ve been a planet fitness member for about 4 years now and I have never have a problem with staff. However, today I was accused by Cyndi of lying about not having shoes when walking into a gym I’ve been too many times refusing to allow me to sign in until I open my bag up and show her the shoes that I already told her I have. I’ve never had a problem with any other worker at any other planet fitness. Cyndi, was very rude, unprofessional, and a sense of a power trip. This is the second time this has happened to me and I will no longer be paying for a monthly membership just to be harassed.

didn’t catch her name but the bigger lady at the counter with blonde hair and glasses (older in age) denied me & my boyfriend entry twice, first time it was because i had slippers on (uggs) which is fine, but when i came back in with MY SNEAKERS she said “those are clearly too big for you and clearly your boyfriends shoes” very rudely, i am 5 ft tall and have size 9 feet, that’s not my fault. it’s insane how their motto is a no judgement free zone but i was judged and denied entry because of my shoe size but no matter how many times i tried to tell her they were my shoes she told me i wasn’t able to workout. me my parents and my boyfriend all cancelled our memberships and will never be coming back to planet fitness again. if you have a membership at PF i do not recommend going to this one. terrible attitude & not welcoming

I started coming to Planet Fitness for the Hydromassage Beds, but now they have been switched to Hydromassage Lounge Chairs, not only in the lounge chair room, but also in the bed section. I’m extremely upset with the lack of variety now. This was all I looked forward to after a long workout or a long day of work. The flat beds provided relief to my quads that I just can’t get from a lounge chair with that dumb shape. I can understand upgrading the chairs, but not taking away the beds is saddening to say the least.

Edit: the fabric on them is such an awful texture, and when they are cleaned they stay wet (the fabric does not dry when wiped) so I can’t imagine all of the sweat and funk embedded into these lounge chairs. They really messed up taking the beds away and replacing them with this bs

When I used to actually go in (last check in was 10/2024) the staff was friendly so that’s why I’m giving two stars. I did as instructed and went into the location to cancel back around May 2025. I have still been charged every month with late fees (I use Apple Cash card for subscriptions so I put the exact amount I need monthly). I called and I was told “Our old GM shouldn’t have did xyz, but since you don’t have a balance you can go online to cancel”. I said okay and asked about getting the months refunded and I was told no. They made a mistake on their end and failed to correct it. Told me they don’t do refunds- EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE. The assistant manager I spoke with today said I can come in on Monday to speak with the new GM… as if I don’t have to work? Where do they think the money they steal from me comes from?

Usually come to work out at night, the best night crew ever! Shadeed & Jose were so respectful and helpful when I had questions & needed help with the machine. One of the cleanest location I have been to! Might need to help morning & day shift come up with better attitudes, when I did work out early I was highly irritated by their performances. But night crew is so cool!!!

Les falta comunicación en horarios de sierre y averturas especialmente días de nieve oh mal tiempo y días festivos también. Las máquinas de voz siempre disen lo mismo y nadie contesta el teléfono. Love it here. Relatively clean, spacious, and gets the job done for a good workout. I pay extra for the Black Card membership, so I like that I can bring a guest for free each time and have access to their massage chairs.

BONUS: it’s located right next to Aldi so makes it super easy to pick something up from the grocery store after working out.

The equipment and most of the staff members are nice. I didn’t like the morning manager. I am a new member so i just asked if they had any discounts for first responders. He replied sharply:NO, with attitude and then quickly turned around like i was not even there. What kind of customer service is that? He was not even that young. All other young staff members are younger than him but they are friendly and helpful. I am giving 5 stars because other than that terrible morning manager I don’t have anything to complain about.

My 14 year old twins and their cousin wanted the free summer membership- in good conscience I just couldn’t drop them and roll so they’ve gotten me into a fantastic routine. PF is clean, their staff courteous and I love how there is always a machine available. I’m so happy they do this for our youth. I hope I continue once they are back on school. It feels good to be pushed by your kids in a healthy direction.

I’ve been a member of planet fitness for about 20 years. I’ve always been happy with equipment and pricing. I’ve went to the Wilmington riverfront location and switched to the kirkwood highway location since I moved. I love that you can cancel anytime without any hassle and sign up again when ready. The employees are friendly and helpful. Equipment is replaced just about every year. The equipment here is better than Hockessin Athletic Club. This is a great gym and never much wait for a machine.

Very disappointed in the constant errors, they are very selfish and instead of being helpful they act like robots def think this location needs an older experience worker!

All plant fitness need like Swiffer and disposable slippers and they need to put the disinfectant spray and maybe some wipes and more paper towels in that area when you are showering so that you can clean it because sometimes the workers don’t always keep the area clean depending on how many people may be using it

I only use Planet Fitness for tanning. But I never see any angry looking people in the gym on my way to the booths 3x a week so I can't be the only happy member. I keep thinking I might work out one day but if I never do I like knowing I can. All of the employees are super friendly and ready to assist you if you need their help. I have always been pleasantly greeted when I check in. I also like the fact that the place is really clean. PF is 100% member friendly which makes membership worth every penny.

I have been bouncing around between (3) different locations in an attempt to cancel my membership. I finally found my HOME gym location only to discover that direct withdrawals continue to be taken from my account. I started the calling and visiting process all over again, only to be told it wasn't coming from my home gym.
The bottom line is that each location blames it on another location. Whatever you do, NEVER sign up for a membership with Planet Fitness. They steal your money, and then the staff plays dumb. I will look into filing a Class Action suit against them. They are crooks!!!

This has been my home gym for years. My trainer is Jackson and he has done wonders for me however he is leaving and iam now one upset client. When you get a good trainer who is helping people u do everything you can to keep him. He is leaving to go to the edge because they are paying him what he's worth.
