The variety of yoga classes have been wonderful to explore, and have left me excited to try the Barre and Pilates (all included in the monthly membership!) I appreciate that the studio doors are locked during classes to protect valuables and that students can leave their mats at the studio!

Sarah’s class at PureYoga in Trolley was hands down one of the best yoga classes I’ve ever taken. From the thoughtfully curated playlist to the seamless flow of the class, everything felt perfectly balanced. I loved how we started and ended with a restorative focus, creating such a grounding experience, while the middle of the class kept us moving and challenged in all the right ways. Sarah has a true gift for guiding you through each pose with intention, offering modifications or challenges as needed. I left feeling strong, refreshed, and completely centered. Highly recommend her classes!

The teacher who teaches the kids aerial yoga is AMAZING. She is fun, compassionate, and witty and she cares deeply about her work. We regularly drive an hour to attend her classes. The front desk employees are also outstanding

Completing my yoga teacher training certification at pure yoga was truly a life changing experience for me! I have been practicing yoga at the studio for over 8 years and it is always the most warming and welcoming environment. Every instructor treats you like a friend and I’ve built great relationships with the people there. It feels like a yoga family! Because of this, I knew I had to do my YTT at pure. As expected, the training was led by some of the most renowned yoga instructors (men and women) from Delaware and NYC. This may sound intimidating, but they were also some of the most down to earth and friendly people that made you feel comfortable and at ease while learning a ton of information in a short period of time. After completing the course, I fully felt confident that I had the knowledge to lead a yoga class. Upon graduating, you leave with what I like to call my “yoga bible” that I reference often while planning out a class. Since then I have been subbing as needed at pure yoga and will continue on my yoga journey with this wonderful studio. Even if you’re not interested in teaching, the course is great for deepening your practice and taking your yoga practice to a different level. Highly recommend this studio and the 200 hour yoga teacher training course!

I loved my time at Pure Yoga while living in Wilmington! I completed my yoga teacher training at here last year (2022-2023). I received nothing but support, kindness, and guidance throughout my teacher training- and I continue to receive it even after moving to Philadelphia for graduate school. Meredith, Joe, and Frank provided their expertise in postures, anatomy, pranayama, and more.

I currently work at two yoga studios in Philly. I have found that this training set me up well to integrate into other studios. :)

I thoroughly regret being talked into my yoga teacher at training at Pure Yoga. I joined in hopes that I could find stillness in my life, but the only stillness I found was countless hours of waiting for class to begin on time or for the teacher to discuss a relevant topic. This training has left me with a deep yoga resentment during a time in my life when yoga could be very beneficial.

In my honest opinion, I don’t think I received anywhere close to 200 hours of actual teacher training. Almost every day contained close to an hour if not more of irrelevant conversation to basic gossip that the teacher led or disregarded.

I was one of two men in this YTT class and as in most yoga environments, we were outnumbered by women. I’ve practiced in multiple studios for years where this is the scenario with no judgement. On multiple instances during these irrelevant conversations (that I am paying for) the teacher would notice that the other male & I had jaded looks on our faces and chuckle saying look how bored the men look, and then continue chatting. These instances were the only times in my yogi life that I’ve ever felt disrespected for being a man practicing yoga, and it’s truly a sin that it had to happen during my YTT of all times.

I hope to one day regain my love of yoga, but I won’t be able to regain the cash I wasted.

They have transitioned to online classes seamlessly! I am on the west coast and always come in person when I visit , but since covid I have come regularly to online classes. I have practiced yoga for over 20 years and Meredith's classes have great rhythm and deep knowledge. I always feel like I have unwound all the stuck places afterwards!

I had an injury doing another sport and the chiropractor suggested doing yoga, so I came to Pure Yoga, I had previous experience with yoga but never long term or with a goal. I had Meredith, Hunter and Joe for instructors for a long time, i made the class almost every day, my yoga grew so much, my injury went away, my passion for yoga grew thanks to this studio, ended up doing my own yoga instructor curse. Ive been to different events and always are amazing! they bring people from NY and Baltimore for great workshops. Monique's classes are awesome, i was lucky she was covering for somebody and got her in the afternoon for a while. Sorry I dont know many people from the mornings. Awesome studio!

Such a welcoming loving space to practice. The variety of classes is great and are offered at times that worked well for my 9-5 schedule. Meredith, the owner, and the other teachers are always super sweet and welcoming, even though they knew I was moving in a month and would not be a customer for long. The group of people attending these classes is also great. Only downside is the studio is small, but everything else is perfect!

This is a great resource. The environment is friendly and welcoming. The variety of instruction is wide and offers something for everyone. I have been coming here for three years and find it just as stimulating as when I first began. Cannot imagine anyone who would not benefit from this excellent studio!

This was my first yoga experience and I didn't need to look any further to find my home base. Every single teacher there is amazing, accommodating, super helpful, and fun; you never feel like you are not good enough, or that it's a chore to go to class. There is a wide variety of classes available at convenient times, and they are always offering special programs or bringing in experts to teach different concepts.

I've been to Pure Yoga Twice now when passing through Wilmington. Their studio is cozy and modern, but very friendly, reasonably priced, and instructors are not afraid of doing more challenging poses with beginners. Definitely would recommend them to anyone I know, and will definitely be dropping in again!
