Our Mobile Personal Trainers will create results oriented workouts that push you and challenge you. When we come to you will provide the equipment if you don't have it. Our sessions include everything from strength training, cardio, HIIT workouts, to circuit training it depends on what direction we want to approach it according to your assessment and your goals. We understand that results matter. Your personal trainer will manage your program (including nutrition), keep you from falling into old habits. And monitor your techniques, progress and motivate you to give 100% in every workout.

I've used many personal trainers in my life and have never had one as committed, genuine, and as funny as Cregory! He is truly a master of his craft. Cregory approaches personal training holistically. He checks in on how well I'm sleeping, sends me motivational quotes, and also provided me nutritional support. Most personal trainers will train your body, but Cregory trains not just your body but also your mind! He is professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. Initially when we started working out, he immediately recognized that for my body type, I would require a special type of sneaker. This has helped me, particularly because I was nursing an injured ankle. As a working professional, sometimes my hours can be scattered and Cregory was always willing to work with me. I can not recommend him enough!!!!

Fantastic trainer, including now that I'm pregnant. Always on time, listens well, and enjoyable to be around. I've had other trainers and Cregory is by far the most efficient, making each session a solid workout without too much chatting taking up precious time! Cregory tailors the workout to exactly what I want to work on and has adapted it really well to make sure it's safe yet effective now that I'm pregnant. As a professional that had been stuck at home for the majority of the pandemic, I was in dire need of exercise after many months of inactivity. I had worked with LevelUp years ago, and the option to do remote workout sessions was just what I needed to get back in shape. The first few weeks were hard, but Cregory kept me motivated and encouraged me to do more, push harder, each session. What I appreciated the most during this period was the flexibility in scheduling and the understanding that these workouts are part of a journey to good health. Thanks to his years of experience as a body builder and as a personal trainer, Cregory has an uncanny ability to find just the right exercise to keep things interesting and challenging. This was true whether I was exercising from a well equipped home gym, or with nothing but the bare minimum of a single weight and a seat. Updated review:
During & after the pandemic Cregory began offering virtual training. The virtual training keeps me active and focused even as my goals adjust. I highly recommend it, as Cregory can tailor the workouts to the equipment you have and can support you through injury.
I've been working with Cregory for about 2 months now, and am so happy that I have been. I started working with him to strengthen my back to reduce pain from injuries. He has helped me slowly build my strength without re-injury. I have far fewer pain days. Cregory is always positive - he is always encouraging me to try new things, and he is always, literally always, pointing out my progress - newly defined back muscles, dropping inches, loose clothes, and higher endurance. He makes sure the workouts are varied and he makes sure I do them properly.
In 2 months, I am stronger and slimmer. Cregory keeps me motivated to do better and keep going.

I have been working with Creg for several months now and am very happy with his patient and customized program for me. I am not a typical "muscle up and get thin" stereotype. I am older with problems associated with having a cast on my ankle for 3 months. He has been wonderful with helping me build up the muscles in my legs to get walking better. Now that I am working with a physical therapist, I am continuing with Creg to supplement her work. Another bonus is that he comes to my apartment building gym in NW DC!

I've been working with Cregory at Leveluppt for about a year now, and I am loving my results. He will work with you no matter what fitness level and what issues you might have. (I have very mild asthma and occasional knee issues and I'm always accommodated without having to sacrifice a good workout.) Cregory is knowledgeable, works with positive motivation and reinforcement, and is always encouraging. I've lost 35 lbs, gained muscle and feel fabulous because of his classes and advice. Cregory is an awesome personal trainer and I would absolutely recommend him if you're looking to lose weight, get stronger, and increase your overall stamina. In the 24 sessions I had with him, I did all of the above! I had never worked with a personal trainer before, but Cregory was exactly the kind of trainer I was hoping to find.
He's consistent, patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. He has a calm and laid back energy, which I really appreciated. Don't be fooled though, he may not have the personality of a drill sergeant, but he will absolutely kill you in your workouts! I was completely wiped out after every session, which was obviously exhausting but also really gratifying. His rates are super reasonable for DC, not to mention all of his expertise and the fact that he comes directly to you and works with your schedule. I also really appreciated his attention to my form and directing me on where I should be placing my weight and which muscles should be activated. (Who knew I've been doing lunges wrong my entire life?) He also talked to me about my nutrition, giving me advice on my macros and suggesting different things to try.
Finally, the results -- after my 24 sessions with Cregory (spanning Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and traveling for work) I lost almost 20 pounds and several inches all around my body. I went from barely being able to do a proper tricep dip to completing multiple sets of them in a circuit. I feel mentally stronger too. I went in to personal training as a way to help me develop better, consistent habits that I could keep up with on my own and I absolutely feel prepared to do that. I have to travel extensively for work, so I'm not able to continue training with Cregory, but if you're on the fence, definitely go for it!

I started training with Reggie back in February and have enjoyed (almost) every minute of it. I've never loved to "hate" someone so much. Reggie really pushes you to push yourself. I find myself working just as hard on the days I train at home so it won't hurt so bad with Reggie. He is also great with working with you on modifications- I have several injuries that we work to accommodate so that I can still reach my fitness goals and not re-injure myself. Sessions are affordable and flexible (I travel a LOT for work) and worth the investment in you. Do yourself a favor and go see Reggie today, tell him I sent you! :)

Cregory is a terrific trainer and I couldn't be happier with my training at Level Up. I've been working with Cregory for about six months now, about twice a week, and no two workouts have been the same. He tailors every workout to your fitness needs, always offers encouragement, and gets results. I'm feeling stronger than ever before and actually look forward to working out. LevelUp Personal Training is the BEST personal training resource around. Although I have not known him long, I have enjoyed getting to know owner (and certified personal trainer) Mr. Cregory Boatwright. I observed his professional, yet easy-going demeanor with multiple clients and he has welcomed me from day one. Reggie Prysock, my trainer, is a wonderful asset at LevelUp. He has trained me for several years, and his level of expertise, motivation, PATIENCE, and creativity with workouts always compel me to keep forging ahead. The truth is, like many things in life, you will get out of training what you put into it. I remain a long-time client of Reggie’s because he skillfully gauges my physical ability, incorporates exercises to increase my strength and conditioning and I am consistently challenged.
It seems like the world is moving faster and faster, and people are increasingly under more pressure. Walking in to LevelUp is always an immediate stress-reliever. My cortisol levels immediately lower when I reach LevelUp because I know that Reggie will have me pumping iron and sweating in no time. After a session, I am more zen and my blood pressure is probably lower also. He knows his anatomy, physiology, kinesiology—you name it. I am always impressed with the ease with which he composes my workouts. Between the compound exercises, jump roping, treadmill and other cardio drills, Reggie has skillfully assessed what my body needs, and which exercises will give me the results that I desire. As I have become accustomed to being a personal training client, I learned that my success with Reggie directly relates to what I do AWAY from LevelUp (nutrition, taking classes at my regular gym, resting, etc). Personal training is not a magic pill for weight loss or whichever physique you work toward, but I noticed accelerated performance in my cardio classes and increased endurance at my ‘other’ gym. Reggie’s motivation and firm challenges during my workouts do not let me quit or give 50%.
It is well into the New Year, and I did not make resolutions per se, but I will step up my game across several areas of my life. Personally, I see 2018 full of progress and part of my success will be CONSISTENT physical fitness. When I take care of my physical self, everything else falls into place. I have more stamina to get through the day, well into the evening, and I am motivated to continue eating well so my energy levels can sustain my training sessions. Something I have learned after falling off the workout wagon here and there—just show up to LevelUp and the results will follow! I am motivated to track my workouts with Reggie, but also my treadmill/bike mileage progress outside of personal training: How I can push myself a little further today? Can I do an extra mile on the bike? Personal training success also necessitates a certain attitude on my part as the client—preparing for sessions and showing up with a “can-do” mindset. Cregory and Reggie have created a positive environment with all of the tools that you need to achieve your goals. Spread the word!!

After a long time of wishing I had a personal trainer, I finally got one! A few yelp and google searches here and there and I came across Cregory. I reviewed his website, testimonials, as well as his yelp reviews and determined he was the personal trainer I wanted to start my fitness journey with! I sent him a quick email telling him my goals and aspirations, and he responded very promptly and had me come in for a 30 minute free assessment.
After filling out a few papers and workout out our schedules, I was in for my first training. I honestly was nervous because I was worried I wasn't going to be strong or fit enough for the exercises but I was completely wrong. Cregory personalized workouts for me based on my current fitness level and it worked out perfectly. The first session was very good because we started off slower, that way I wouldn't injure myself lifting heavy weights, as well as to just see where to begin and base my other sessions off.
Each session is different. This keeps me excited to come to every personal training session and enthusiastic about getting a good work out in. He plays a variety of music during each session as well, which gives me a little extra energy to do that last rep. During the sessions Cregory gives a demonstration of the exercise and then proceeds to have me do a certain amount of sets and reps. He is always on it to let me know if I'm doing it wrong, or just not getting the most out of it. Thanks to his consistency of making sure I'm completing the exercise right, I have seen a lot of progress. My goals were to gain muscle and lose body fat, and I've done just that.
Wanting to make a change in your body or just trying to find the motivation to workout can be challenging for some people, including myself. I can honestly say that Cregory is constantly pushing me to do my best and to complete every single rep properly. This is very encouraging and makes for a great environment.
Cregory is a very knowledgeable personal trainer. He knows exactly how to get you where you want to be, and how to do it. When I first started at the end of May, I was struggling to gain lean muscle. (Almost) 3 months later and my shoulders, arms, legs, and stomach have improved tremendously.
I originally signed up for 24 sessions to see how I liked personal training. After those sessions were completed, I found myself wanting another 24! I loved it so much that I decided to take 24 more sessions. Unfortunately I will be graduating college and moving, but my time with Cregory was and continues to be great!
Parking outside of his location is also very easy. There is always plenty of neighborhood street parking available. If you're looking to start your fitness journey now, I highly recommend starting with Cregory! You can't go wrong.

I have struggled for a long time to find the right workout program for me. Admittedly, I have zero willpower to do much on my own. If I work out at home and get tired, I just sit down. So when Level Up moved around the corner, I had no excuse to not join. I've been working out with Cregory for a little over a month and I truly feel like he pushes me, in the right way - he's not mean or angry, but encourages me to keep going. If I feel discouraged, he talks it through and figures out the best way to change things up for my specific goals. I never leave a session without feeling the burn and I'm excited to see where he can take me!

I unfortunately had a poor experience using LevelUp as my personal trainer. The relationship started off well enough; based on all the 5 star reviews i expected a great training experience. Although the start was a little disorganized (I was quoted a different price for what I wanted and then paid a higher price later on), the app to log diet and workouts as well as communicate was cool. He offered two training sessions to make up for the confusion. Here’s where it goes a bit south:
Workouts: The workout is pretty straightforward, and you’re given cardio guidelines for non training days. That was ok, but the trainer at my office gym can provide similar material, for free.
Meal Plan: I was severely disappointed by this. It’s a very simple meal plan for one day, and you are meant to eat that with some variation for a month. That’s not worth my money and certainly not what will keep me motivated. I specifically stated I needed variety and I never got that. Nor do I think a nutritionist reviewed it, as I was told would happen since they were bringing someone on board when i signed up (not sure this ever happened). I was told this makes it easier - but for whom? I know what doesn’t work for me and eating the same thing is my first step to failure.
Personal Training Sessions: Briefly on the one session I had - it lasted maybe 30 min? Seemed created on the fly. He forgot about my session so I have full reason to believe that.
Communication: I got maybe a message a week, if that, and if I didn’t log I wasn’t being pushed to do the program, nor did we have great conversations around what was holding me back. I could have gotten the same level of communication and encourage from a friend for free.
When we tried to restart for 2018, he offered a free month, but then tacked on the expectation that I would pay for a month THEN get a free month. I passed, obviously. There’s no way I’d pay someone to fix a service they are providing me.
He’s a decent person, but the service provided is overrated and overpriced. And I could have saved a few hundred dollars if I just did it on my own; so best believe I’m paying myself to get fit in 2018.

Cregory is great and I'm thrilled with my time working out at Level Up. For starters, I'm a non athlete and super uncoordinated. Admittedly, I feel a little self-conscious in big gyms and trendy group fittness classes. I came to Cregory looking for a welcoming, non-judgemental environment to get in shape and feel healthier.
Cregory said that a 30 minute session three times a week would be enough to get me toned, lean and strong. At first, I was pretty skeptical that I would see results with such little time working out, but after two months at Level Up I'm the strongest I've ever been and people around me have noticed!
Honestly, there is no way I would get these results on my own by going to the gym for 30 minutes, three times a week. It's really helpful to have someone who knows what they're doing to guide you through the best workout for your body. Also, I should mention that Cregory is a really nice guy and a local business owner to boot!

When you reach a point where you need to seriously work on your health, you don't need a "motivation"--- You need "expert" guidance and support. We also talk diet, getting enough sleep, managing stress and occasionally politics. That talk help keep me distracted as he ratchet's up the weights that I am lifting and pushing and straining to move around...
He has helped me to develop routines that I can do to at home, in a local gym or in hotel fitness room. His prices are quite reasonable. But if you are hesitant to make the investment--- you need to think about the ultimate price you will pay, by simply continuing to let your body go. That's just the doctor in me, giving you the advice that I wish most overweight patients would take...! Good Lock and Good Health...!

Cregory is a great trainer, I came in with a six-week lead time before a big, physical trip (3 weeks rafting, kayaking, and carrying heavy loads down the Grand Canyon) and he got me motivated and STRONG for the trip! Flexible with his schedule, great advice for a short at-home routine to complement my work with him at the gym, and a diverse set of exercises that kept things interesting and kept me building up all the muscles I'd need. OMG Yesterday was my 1st session with Creg and man was it good. I participated in Creg's small group (night session). It was just me and another lady. I felt he paid attention to my form and gave me modifications to accommodate my lower back problem. I live a mile from the gym, so I walked there. I was so beat (in a great way) I was not sure if I was going to be able to walk back home. I took potassium (my brother's recommendation) and 8 oz of coconut water (also a good source of potassium) and I am not very sore today. I fell asleep by 9:00 and slept like a baby until 7:00 am. What a great find Creg and his gym are!!! I want to keep him as a secret, but that would not be right.
*one reviewer mentioned that he was on his cell. During my session he only used the phone to provide music during the workout, which I appreciated.

I didn't work with Craig long, but long enough to know that he was a very kind person but also very knowledgeable in the subject of fitness. I ended up having some back problems (unrelated to our sessions) and had to the sessions. Craig was generous enough to let me continue with visits i had already paid for once my back issue was resolved - i was very grateful for that! I enjoyed that our sessions kept me guessing from one thing to the next (didn't repeat exercises constantly) and that helped keep me interested and also kept my body working in different ways.

We've been training w Cregory for 3 years ...and we love it! It's his gentle and calm approach. He doesn't push; he's subtle about adding more weights; he even requires you to rest between each set of 12. The weight training and abs are gradual, and they work because you never get discouraged. You should meet this guy; he's a real pro!

Word of advice, if your not dedicated to achieving your goals, if your not ready to sweat or if your not ready to deal with a little pain, then your not ready for the best personal trainer in the DMV. Creg is an exceptional instructor. He is very attentive and his sessions are tailored to achieve individual goals. If your worried about getting bored of the same routine this is the perfect fit for you. He always implemented something new from plyometrics to resistance training. This is one of the things I liked most about his sessions. Believe me, I was never bored. He pushed me mentally and physically. What impressed me most, was his overall knowledge. Creg provided a detailed nutrition plan that catered to my needs. Ultimately, with Creg's tailor-made program, I was able to get lean and reduce my body fat percentage after 3 months. I am now in my 4th month and I intend on exceeding my original goals. I am fit and I love it. So, thanks Creg!

I highly recommend Cregory's in-home personal training sessions. There's nothing quite like knowing he's coming to your door to get you out of bed in the morning and into workout clothes.
