Jack and I have been training with Paul via FaceTime for over 3 years. What began as a gift from our daughter to help us stay active during the pandemic evolved into a twice weekly workout that has become an important part of our routine. Our sessions are always different as Pul focuses on many different areas of the body and levels of fitness. As a result, we have improved balance, flexibility and strength - all vital assets for a couple in our seventies. Paul is a great motivator and challenges us to improve our health and fitness every week. We would highly recommend CET to anyone who wants to live a better, happier life.

Paul worked with me for I don’t know how many years until my training sessions were derailed by COVID. I highly recommend him, he pays attention to your goals and pushes you to achieve them. He also knows how to modify specific exercises and training in general to address any injuries, weakness, etc. I can still hear his corrections when I’m lifting weights at home, so I definitely learned a lot from our sessions, which has been hugely beneficial while I’ve been winging it alone in my basement!

I've been going to Paul for almost 18 months now and have been really happy with my experience. Paul has been really friendly and professional and is very knowledgeable on the body and the various exercises to get the results that you are looking for. He was able to identify the root cause of certain issues with my back, hips and shoulders and created training plans to correct the issues and build strength and flexibility to achieve the desired results.

My experience with Paul has been incredible. I’ve been able to do so much that I didn’t think I could initially. I lost a lot of self esteem and confidence early on because of my weight, but going to the gym with Paul backing me up has been a complete turn around. He has been very supportive getting me into a routine that is proving to turn around my overall look on my health. Paul’s way of teaching is very calculative and he knows exactly when the body reaches its limit to ensure you get the proper amount of exercise without hurting yourself. I met Paul through a friend who trained with him & was developing an amazing figure. I reached out to Paul & he was very responsive & answered all my questions. Paul is a professional trainer. He takes his work seriously & dedicates his time to find the right program for the trainee. He challenges his trainees and safely pushed them out of their comfort zone. Despite the tough workouts, Paul is kind and honest. He uses every minute of the session so the trainee gets the most out of it and is very creative in designing programs that achieve the same outcome even when certain equipment is not available. I have only worked with Paul a few times-a couple of times when I was in competitive triathlon shape and a couple of times when I was in pandemic quarantine shape, which is to say not very fit. On each occasion, I was impressed with Paul's ability to assess the condition of my bodymind and meet me there with a kind and clear motivational style. I have trained with Paul 2-3 times a week for the past six plus years. He is my motivator, my cheerleader and my coach and has been instrumental in my path to improved health and fitness. I look forward to our sessions each week because Paul can adapt quickly if I am exhausted from work and need to have a restorative training session, or I want to push myself and sweat it out. We set short- and long-term goals, and he keeps me honest, and each session is different, challenging and well thought out. Paul truly cares about the health of his clients and is invested. Paul builds a fantastic workout for you whether you are in the gym or at home. When all the gyms were closed, he helped me stay fit and build a great exercise routine at home over Zoom. He is very knowledgeable and attentive, and he is motivated to find the best routine for each individual person. He is also creative, so you don’t need a workout machine or a rack of dumbbells to get in shape. Highly recommend.

There are trainers, and there are TRAINERS! Paul Medina is definitely in the top 1% of exceptional trainers. If you are looking to become physically fit and to maximize the mobility and range of your body, Paul is the trainer for you! His knowledge and understanding of the body’s mechanics, nervous system, combined with his wholistic approach of strengthening your body from the inside out leads to real and long term results. I first started training with Paul 10 years ago after I had my third child and within the year I was in the best shape I’ve ever been in my life. After working out with him for a couple years I had to move out of town and was forced to work with other trainers and there’s simply no comparison. When I moved back to the DC area, the first thing I did was call to Paul and I feel better than I have in years. I have been working with Capital Energy for about three years now, and the experience has been so great. After years of an untreated injury and finally surgery (plus a lot of time at a desk), I found myself stuck in physical therapy, physically stuck in uneven body patterns, and unable to effectively strengthen my body. Paul’s hands-on, flexible and thoughtful approach has been exactly what I needed; and he really knows the body and it’s systems. His approach is tailored to my body and what it needs in each individual session. He pays attention and helps correct for unhelpful muscle patterns. As a result, I feel better, look better and have noticed greater strength and endurance in many areas of my body that just never seemed to get stronger. On top of all that, the team is great to work with, listens to their clients and all around makes the experience far better and more positive than any other trainer I know of. Highly recommend (unless you try to take my time slots, in which case this trainer is not for you ;) )
