I signed up for the 2:30 Core Power strength with Elisabeth on August third. When I showed up ten minutes early the door was locked. I called Core Power and the man on the phone told me “You’re the only student so she must not have come and that she hadn’t registered it as a canceled class online or as an emergency.” He said “we won’t charge you for missing this class” and I was like, yes- obviously bc I am the one here and not the instructor. I live in Mount Pleasant so it was a real waste of time to bike over- an hour round trip. I tried Core Power like five years ago and have never been back until now bc of things like this … like as an instructor you’re not a child, it’s your job. If you don’t want to come in bc there is only one student, at least cancel the class online .

I was very disappointed that 3 days after my class using my class pass I was charged $38 for a droipin without any notice. Had to contact corporate customer service to get a refund

Went to Travis Mitchell's sculpt class at Glover Park. Lack of glow sticks and Darude - Sandstorm during the class took me out of the moment. Also when it's that warm in class, why wear clothes at all!?! 1 out of 5 stars. Boo.

I love (heated) CorePower but the heat at this location (the only location accessible to me given my location and work schedule) has been broken for several weeks.

At first they noted that the classes were UNHEATED on the schedule but then they stopped being so diligent. I showed up for a class that was not heated and it was cold & muggy in the room. Really unpleasant experience.

Then they got these rented(?) portable heaters that raise the temperature to somewhere in the 70s but add so much humidity that you can’t see anything in the mirror after the first 10-15min of class (essential!) and the floor is so slippery at the end of class that it could cause a serious injury to someone exiting. Instructors joke about it. It’s again very muggy and unpleasant, like sitting in someone else’s sweat

I understand that things happen and maintenance always comes up, but they aren’t marking the classes as UNHEATED when they should because the portable heaters just don’t work. I’m disappointed and feel like I wasted my membership money. It’s misleading and I won’t return until the classes are actually heated (but I won’t know when that is because they don’t communicate honestly)

The best part about CorePower Yoga Glover Park is the instructors. They are all amazing! The studio space is great for yoga, too- the lighting, heating, humidity, and music are on point.

Cannot get a hold of the local yoga studio, only the central office number given. Being charged for one class 174.49. Past membership cancelled but kept being charged and dispute not taking care of. These people are ripping you off!! It’s shame...

I love this studio and I love that they have side mirrors as well! It’s super clean and organized. Everyone’s very friendly too. I tried a free week this summer and since then I’m in love with Sculpt! I go to the studio every other day and every time is so exciting. The app is super friendly and easy to track my practices too.

The only problem is that the Black Tag Membership is WAY TOO expensive!!! There should be a package for 6 months or 1 year with cheaper prices otherwise it’s not affordable for many people unfortunately.

My experience with Core Power began at Glover Park! Sculpt got me hooked from the beginning, and now I am on in sculpt teacher training. The class has made my body so much more toned and is a motivating way to lift weights with other high intensity activities! I also enjoy C2's and HPF classes to deepen my yoga practice. I love the warm, small studio vibe. Each class is different dependent on the teacher, and I enjoy the various strengths of each teacher. Sarah Freedman, Kalli, and Julia- I really enjoy your classes!

CorePower has me hooked! I came for the first time in August and had the best experience. The studio is always so clean and the instructors are very friendly. They will help you with your yoga practice wherever you are. I would definitely recommend this studio!!

I have taken two classes at CPY, both hot yoga classes, and they have been great. I am not a yogi by any means, but I found the classes very easy to follow. Note that at CP, there is no instructor in the front of the class, so I wouldn't go if it is your first ever, ever yoga class. The classes are small in size and you get a lot of attention from the instructor. I would totally recommend the candlelight class as it a challenge for balance but also a time for you to reflect on your own yoga practice. The facilities are clean but towels/water bottle/mats cost money. The studio has their own fancy filtered water fountain and the locker rooms are nice and clean. There are also showers on site if you are heading elsewhere right after class. Be sure to bring your own lock for a locker.

This place, like all corepower studios, is pricey. It has amazing amenities, clean facilities, nice staff, and fresh water purifier! Would love to afford a regular package here but will wait it out for the groupon.
