I took the Rebuild: Mobility and Myofascial Release class with Coach Cedrick and it was one of the most instructive classes I’ve ever taken! It was painful, but I learned so much about how to take care of my muscles and it felt like I got a massage afterwards, I felt so good!

10/10. I love it here. Cut7 made waking up early to workout fun again, something I look forward to and plan my day around. The members are welcoming and work hard and Chris is a phenomenal coach. Him and his wife have built a gem in DC. I'm a fitness coach and dancer from NY with over 20 years of experience who moved to DC in 2020. Finding a studio with workouts that were challenging and fun at the same time IS A STRUGGLE in DC...but with CUT7 the struggle is no longer real...the sweat is real, the smiles are real, and the workouts are lit.

I joined Cut Seven during COVID and never looked back. As a group fitness enthusiast, I’ve never found a place that matches its energy and community. Whether it’s your first or 200th class, you’ll feel welcomed, supported, and pushed to do your best.
The programming is top-notch, balancing strength and conditioning without sacrificing individualized attention. Coaches tailor exercises to your needs while keeping the challenge high. It may seem intimidating at first, but you’ll never feel overlooked.
With solid instructors, varied workouts, and an unbeatable atmosphere, Cut Seven keeps things fresh and motivating. The 60–75 minutes fly by thanks to the energy and encouragement. If you want a fitness community that pushes and supports you, this is it!

I cannot say enough good things about Cut Seven. They earnestly live out their tag line statement -"WE ARE CUT SEVEN. NOT A GYM. A TEAM." - in the most fun and infectious way possible. The coaches are top tier and the workouts are always unique, fun, and challenging. Regardless of your fitness level, Cut Seven can be both accessible and challenging for each individual athlete that walks onto the turf.

I’ve tried every gym in the DMV and Cut Seven is unparalleled for these reasons:
1. Team-based workouts: most gym classes are individual based and their workouts stand out because of the fun team-based approach to every workout. Small group training format is super effective.
2. The coaches. Every single class that I’ve gone to I have always received personalized correction for form and also accountability. I love how all of the coaches know the clients by name and bring their own spin to the the workout focus for the class.
3. The founders of the company: they are fitness industry experts and started this gym from the ground up.
While I haven’t been able to go as often as I want to (bc I moved out of the city)
I only hope they can open a location in northern Virginia!

One of the best workouts in any city, I am a HUGE fan of Cut Seven. If you ever played team sports, this class is for you. The camaraderie between participants while you're doing fun playground-type exercises is unlike any class I've ever taken. Highly recommend if you're in the DC area!!!

I joined Cut in mid-2020 with the intention of getting fitter and leaner. I'd always been a team sports guy and wasn't partial to gym culture, so I was skeptical. But the experience has blown me away. I now find myself waking up at the crack of dawn every morning to walk to class come rain, sun, or snow, whatever the temperature, because the enthusiasm is infectious and the classes brilliant fun. It's an extremely inclusive environment, whatever your fitness level or ability. And importantly the owners and first-class coaches have created an actual Team sports-like environment, where people take their fitness seriously but in an encouraging culture. With many gym class groups, the sessions can be predictable. But with Cut, just when you think you've mastered a class type, they really mix it up with innovative new team games, new moves, or fun warmups and finishers. After a year of doing classes 4 or 5 times per week, I've never been fitter and genuinely miss it when I'm away even for a few days.

Cut 7 is fantastic! It's hard to know where to start with the pros. The strength/conditioning/HIIT workouts are high energy and produce results. The equipment and workout spaces are high quality. The music bumps. But the best part has to be the people. Cut 7 has built a great community. The coaches are serious professionals, yet fun and friendly.

Cut 7 is amazing! The workouts are fun and super challenging. There's a pretty standard overall format (warm-up, stations, finisher), but every workout still manages to feel thoughtful and unique. This is also the *only* exercise class I've ever been to where they encourage everyone to get to know each other and think of each other as teammates. After a year working out alone inside, this has been an incredibly worth it way to get motivated and get back out there!

I’ve gone to this studio on and off since the beginning, and always make a point to take a class or two when I’m back in DC after moving several years ago.
The class is hard but scalable, unintimidating with athletes of all levels taking class. What they’ve done with the outdoor spaces and ingenuity over the pandemic has been impressive and they’re now getting back to indoor classes so I’m sure the cardio is about to get turned way back up.

Cut Seven is more than just a boutique workout class, it’s a community. I was invited by a friend and initially purchased an intro package (you can’t beat 7 for $7). I got hooked and now I’m a member! The workouts are challenging, the instructors are energetic and push you to take it to the next level, and every time I come to class I make a new friend. Their team based approach creates an encouraging environment no matter what your skill level is. As a healthcare professional, I also appreciate the precautions and protocol they implemented during the pandemic to keep everyone safe. I highly recommend trying a class, you won’t be disappointed!

Cut Seven is amazing! I have done so many different boutique fitness classes and can say, without hesitation, Cut Seven absolutely feels like the best bang for your fitness buck in all of DC. The exercises are always really fun and inventive, and they make use of so many different types of equipment. The classes are very challenging, but you get through it with the help and encouragement of the incredibly sweet instructors and “captains.” Even the other people taking the classes with you are always SO NICE and make you feel welcome and like part of the team. (Seriously, I cannot say enough about how nice all the people are.)

Cut Seven is a life changer during these COVID times! I couldn’t agree more with all the comments - it feels so good to get back to a high intensity group fitness experience, definitely feel like my old self again. Cut7 outdoor field workouts saved my summer. After stay-at-home-all-alone workouts stalled, me and a buddy took a chance on their newbie two-pack Cut 7 deal. Team, it's so good to workout with people again. Friendly, safe, and welcoming (don't let their instagram shirtless selfies trick you, there are normal people too) Cut 7 gives you a great muscle group focused circuit workout. New? Amelia, Clarence and Amadeus give the best corrections and work with any outstanding injuries (hi, it me) so you leave sweaty, blissfully tired, and ready to sign up for more.

After months of quarantine, I was definitely missing a group workout class. I tried Cut Seven because I heard their classes were outdoors and they did not disappoint. No matter the day or the Coach, every class is challenging but it's easy to push yourself because the team atmosphere is strong and encouraging -- even while we're masked and at a distance. I really appreciate how seriously the Coaches are taking their health and safety protocols -- there is limited equipment use and anything that has to be borrowed is sprayed between uses, we're always 6 ft apart (or more on the field), and masks are required in every transition. Knowing that everyone is committed to health and safety allows me to focus on getting the most out of the workout. Highly recommend!

“This too shall pass" was my first thought mid way through my first class at C7. The second I left, I booked an entire week of classes. Having an entire group of people, coaches, and yourself to push through the end of each set is what makes C7 unique. I truly enjoy the passion that everyone brings to each of the workouts. I have to say, Cut Seven has to be the best fitness class I have taken to date. They have successfully combined the best parts of every other workout class I have taken, and they also managed to foster an amazing community of coaches and athletes in the process. You'll notice this as soon as you walk in hearing the place buzzing with conversations and laughter.
The workout itself is fantastic, and all of the coaches take particular care to make sure you are doing each exercise correctly (to get the best out of each station as well as not hurt yourself). I appreciate this so much, because I feel most other classes I go to are more focused on getting you in and out. You can tell both Chris and Alex, as well as all of the coaches and captains, really care about every one of the members, and it shows in class.
So if you are into a great workout with great music and cool motivational people, give Cut Seven a try! You definitely won't be disappointed!

Fantastic studio! Dropped in for a couple classes while home for the holidays and had a wonderful experience. The trainers (Mere and Kasia) were brilliant, the class members were extremely welcoming and encouraging, and the owner made the onboarding experience great. Just finished my first workout at Cut Seven. The facility is immaculate with an artificial turf surface, lights and thumping music that reminds me of Barry's or Orangetheory (I'm a member). The folks that work there are kind and inviting/supportive, but also intense in a good way. We did heart and chest today.The focus of the training appears to be on high-power/explosive movements and rotating circuit training for time and with a partner. Today involved lots of burpees, sprints, quick feet and bear crawls. In other words, functional strength. Reminds me of martial arts training or football practice. Cut Seven is expensive but it is locally owned and you can see where the cost is going. Quick heads up: if you're trying to get back into shape or never worked out before then this might be a bit like jumping into the deep end for your first swimming lesson. I work out a ton and I was breathing hard by the end of it. But, I immediately purchased a class pack and if this facility was closer to my home base then I would probably buy a full membership and then move in there and say goodbye to my wife and son.

One of the best high intensity interval workouts you’re gonna find, period. I sweat ALL THE WAY through my SWEATSHIRT every time. And mostly swear all the way through the workout too :)
