Had a really great time at class! I had coach hannah and she was awesome. The music was great, easy to follow and everyone there was super friendly. I took the classic class and you could probably do it as a beginner, but might be a little tough to follow along with some of the movements

I understand you don't want people showing up to class, but fabulating it into a safety issue is disingenuous

Just went here for my first class and it was everything I didn’t know I needed. Izzy was amazing with prepping me and briefing me on everything. For her to be so nice and helpful at 545am is amazing! She helped me get my shoes, login, find my bike. She blocked my shoes on because I was struggling and taught me how to get them out. She was a great start.

Let’s get into David. He was covering a class but idk if he was a blessing in disguise. He made me feel! Like I feel good as I write this. Just enough talking, great momentum, lively energy, and great legs! He not only looks the part by embodies it. Sad he doesn’t have a morning class permanently but I’ll follow him around a bit! Spoke with him after to let him know because you never know what someone needs to hear and I needed him this Monday morning. Will definitely be back.
Parking is really easy in the mornings too!!

I love the community at Cyclebar!! It's a great workout, and they are constantly running specials that make the classes more affordable. While those are great, the thing that keeps me coming back is the community. The instructors and staff work extra hard to make everyone feel welcome and valued in the space, and it pays off.

I liked exercising here at first but signing up for the membership was a mistake. They trap you into owing over $200 if you don’t use all of your classes. They’re very combative, inconsiderate, and frankly rude, through the process of canceling my membership. I will just continue to go to F45.

I took my first ride and I’m hooked! Where other cycling studios felt intimidating and click-ish, I felt instantly accepted at CycleBar and that the coaching was approachable (even for a novice rider!). I typically do HIIT workouts, so I loved that the advanced classes challenged me to my limit where my heart rate was elevated all and legs felt a great burn all class long. Shoutout to NoMa DC studio and Coach Kelli for pushing me and sharing just the right motivational words we need to get through a tough workout!

Visited CycleBar for the first time this week. I thoroughly enjoyed the tandem ride (shoutout to Allyson P & Kelli C). The music and vibes in the room were on point! I'm looking forward to my next ride!!

I’ve been going to cyclebar noma for over a year now and I can say it’s the best workout class I’ve been to in a long, long time. Instructors are always helpful with new riders, music is always incredibly fun along with their awesome themes, and the community is seriously unmatched and unlike any other!

If you’re thinking about riding and giving it a shot, you need to! Such a fun studio and there is a reason why so many folks come back time after time.

I am not a morning person, so 7am classes wouldn’t be doable twice a week without Kelli (best instructor!!). Motivational & a great workout!

The rides are good but canceling a membership is almost impossible. I unexpectedly had to move out of town for work shortly after starting my membership here. I went through all of the steps in canceling and was still charged for the entire NEXT month. Nobody was helpful and seemed to care that I had to pay. I even asked if I could use that payment towards a cyclebar in the state I moved to and was told no. Overall, I would suggest paying by the class and NOT getting a membership. It’s all about the money to them in the end.

Just buy the classes don’t do the membership. Awesome classes with great instructors it’s just ridiculously hard to cancel your membership. I have been trying to cancel for months and they have continuously charged my card. Can’t call to cancel, have to email, but there’s no response via email. Great classes, love them just not great to pay for a big amount monthly if you are financially conscious.

I sadly have to leave a review because my emails and text messages to cancel are going unanswered. There’s a app which I won’t name hosted an event which btw went really great. I enjoyed myself, I felt motivated and met a couple of great gals.

After the class was over they offer a discounted price to sign up and then you had to pick a plan. I thought the offered sounded to good to be true but I signed up anyway. I should’ve read the fine print.

Apparently the offer of the $10 plan included an insane amount taking from your card every month. I know I signed up but they didn’t give a proper breakdown. Everyone was hook on the 10 dollar deal. I should’ve never signed up if I was going to be stuck in a contract I can’t cancel.

The wavier said to send an email to cyclebar..about cancellation- which you have about 30 days. But if they’re not responding to emails and have no number to call how’s that possible.

I recommend if you receive a discounted rate to join with them to read the fine print and not get caught in this mess I got myself into.

CycleBar NoMa has been a great experience. The instructors are top notch, and the community of riders is very friendly and welcoming. There is a variety of classes and available times to suit your fitness goals and schedule. The studio is always running different deals and promotions too. Whether you’re new to spin or a long-time rider, I totally recommend CycleBar NoMa!

AWFUL. They will get you in by saying 1 class free but then will keep charging your card even when you cancel with them!!!! They will also not respond to emails or contact regarding this. I now owe an absurd amount of money which I can't even pay off since NO ONE will respond to my emails. Go to soul cycle or get a Peleton instead-Cycle Bar are thieves!

Cyclebar NOMA has been a great experience for me. I have gone to a few classes now. I tend to bounce around from studio to studio, but enjoy the connect classes at this studio. CB NOMA has trained and maintained great Cyclestar talent. I particularly like the inclusive vibe and music selection. I highly recommend the experience. I’ve taken a couple classes with Lindsay, Michelle, and Nathan. All great and fun instructors. Surely will be back.

This place is awesome - the music, the lights, the pep talks, the drive, the workout, the community. These instructors are BOMB. Instructors each have their strengths and I enjoy working out with all of them - which is part of the problem. When I can't make a class or need a rest day, I have mad fomo. I think I'm addicted. Honestly, the only complaint I have is with the patrons.. they could be a little more amped. Thank you Cyclebar NOMA!

Just walked out of the class. Literally every bike in the room is taken. It’s like they haven’t even considered any capacity restrictions in light of runaway covid transmission

i just had to come on here & say how amazing my first ride was at cycle bar in NoMa. lindsey was an incredibly warm and welcoming instructor who made it such a fun and challenging workout. the whole staff made me feel so welcome and eased all of the anxiety i had around taking my first ever cycling class. they even wrote a sweet little note on my locker… just so cute and so nice. looking forward to taking many more classes with lindsey, she’s a badass.

I took the class and it was ok. I did inform the staff of my hearing damage and the loud music. The staff said to me "That's how it is and here are earplugs." They WOULD NOT LOWER THE VOLUME. And the instructor was yelling louder over the music.

There is a law called the American Disability Act (ADA) and this location failed to accommodate me by lowering the volume. The volume levels, if recorded, are well over the maximum decibel readings (120db) that the human ear can tolerate, for less than 90 seconds without significant damage.

If you wish me to join CycleBar, accommodations must be made according to the ADA.

You should try this at least once a week! It's loads of fun, Lexi is a great instructor and she will walk you through every step. You do not need to be a pro to take this class and can go at your own pace.

This place is a little expensive but it's too notch and a lot of fun. I especially liked how they made a simple workout into a competitive game with metrics. Gotta get it once!

I spin regularly and had the opportunity to take a complimentary class. I was one of the first attendees there since I knew I’d need to sign a waiver, etc. Getting my stuff put away was as simple as expected. When I got into the studio there were ladies resetting bikes and asked me to step out. I would recomend keeping the doors closed or eplaining to guests that they should wait to be called into the studio to avoid awkward interactions like that one. When we were eventually let in I found my bike, set it as I usually do, and needed help clipping in (these bikes are different than any others I’ve ever clipped into). I asked for help and the person who helped me told me I needed to change my settings so I don’t hurt myself, I tried to let her know I usually use these settings and she went into a safety conversation as if this was my first spin class ever. She lowered my seat, I told her I was uncomfortable but she said it was better this way. I stretched and spun a bit until the class instructor came over when I raised my hand to ID myself as a new rider to her class. She told me my seat was too low and I needed to come up. She raised me back to where I normally sit (which was a bit frustrating in that I knew I should have been at that setting origijnaly). It was a great class (shout out Lexi!)........ I’d recommend employee talking to class takers instead of talking at them. If the original person that “helped” me just took a moment to listen to me, she would have known that although this was my first class at this studio, I spin 6 days a week and know how to set my bike comfortably for me. I may go back, I may not.... the experience all in all didn’t seem like the most welcoming outside of the instructor.

My husband and I have been going to the 6am classes at Cyclebar for a month now and love it. The process is orderly from start to finish. We usually reserve our bikes the night before, so when we arrive we check in on a touch screen and grab the cycling shoes waiting for us in our assigned cubbies. We throw our stuff into a locker and head to our bikes. A towel is always waiting on the bike, and adjustments to the bike are usually minimal. The workouts are consistently challenging and fun. When class is over, we just toss our towels in the bin, put our cycling shoes on the rack, and head home. It takes us no more than an hour to get in a great workout and get on with the day.
