Narrator: He did not, in fact, go easy.

Jokes aside, Errick is the only reason I’ve been able to lose over 20lbs this year (something I have never been able to do on my own.) He has such wonderful energy, he is always cheerful, and he truly believes in you even when you certainly don’t believe in yourself. Even better, he is open to all workout playlists (and impressively is a bigger Britney Spears fan than even I am!) With Errick I’ve accomplished things I never thought I’d be able to do. My only regret is that I didn’t find him sooner and start my fitness journey years ago. He’s DC’s best kept secret and hiring him as my trainer was the best decision I’ve ever made! Don’t hesitate, give him a call!

If you’re looking for a personal trainer who will revolutionize your physical fitness and help you achieve goals, Errick is your person. And the bonus is that you will also get someone who will simultaneously become your biggest supporter, occasional therapist, lifestyle consultant, and genuine friend. This review is long overdue and words won't do EMPT justice, but here goes...

After having my second child, I knew I wanted a professional trainer/coach to help me re-gain my strength. I found Errick online and booked an initial consult/trial workout after reading his many wonderful online reviews. I used to teach group fitness, so I know the basics of anatomy and how to workout, but I knew I needed someone to not only motivate me but to plan classes with modifications in mind for postpartum bodies because planning was not something I had the capacity for at the time.

After my trial class, I was excited to sign up for more! Working with Errick is a true investment - time, money, and lifestyle changes! But, if you sign up with him and commit you will feel and see results, and they are worth it! I ended up finding not only the coach that I was looking for, but a new music DJ, the ultimate motivator, and a friend! I looked forward to our workouts and his texts along our journey.

In the end, I lost pounds, inches, and gained strength that surpassed what I had in my fitness instructor years. If all you need is a nudge to book a consult with him, take this as that nudge! Commit and see/feel the changes you want.

And, if you are someone who hates working out, that's ok - he is an expert in distracting you through the exercises that you despise and at making the hour fly by. Even after I "graduated" (36 classes over 4 months) - he still checks in on me to see how I am doing and remembers conversations that we had. Anyway, this is my long winded way of saying Errick is the best - book with him now!

Working out with Errick is really fun - his space is cool, his DJing skills are on point, and he's got great ideas for exercises that will leave you feeling like you gave it your all, and then some, while also getting energized for the rest of the day. His approach to nutrition and text reminders are helpful for building new and healthier habits. He has a delightful personality - positive and authentic. A terrific investment in your fitness and health!

I trained with Errick for 2.5 months, meeting 2-3x/week, and the experience exceeded all expectations. First, yes, I saw *clear results* in my strength and cardio: I increased my running endurance by a mile and beat my best time, leveled up in my upper body strength enough that visibly improved my posture and defined my biceps, and I had a smaller waist that meant I could wear ALL my pants again lol. More than that, Errick’s supportive coaching improved my positive self-talk, resilience, and motivation in ways that have helped me in my personal and professional life. I never used to say to myself “you can do this” out loud until now and it’s allowed me to work through more ambitious goals.

If you’re looking for a perfect balance of cheerleader and challenger, an uncanny ability to spot incorrect form (my squats have gotten so much better), unconditional enthusiasm, and a music mix catered to your tastes, Errick is your guy. I so enjoyed working with him that I plan to restart sessions soon!

There aren't enough words to describe how amazing Errick is--not only as a personal trainer, but also as a human! I was a client of his for 2 years, and only stopped working with him because I moved away from the area. If I still lived in DC, I would definitely still be one of his athletes!

I chose Errick because I needed accountability. I had been to several gyms and workout classes in DC, and it was too easy to just stop showing up if I didn't feel like it. Even when I would try personal training sessions at the bigger gyms, it always felt like I was just a name on a roster, so I never felt fully bought in.

With Errick, it is the complete opposite. His enthusiasm is infectious during workouts--even on days where I was exhausted and the gym was the last place I wanted to be, we would start our session and my mindset would completely change because of how excited he was! It doesn't stop when you leave his studio. Throughout the day he is checking in with you, keeping you on track with your nutrition goals and motivating you to push yourself inside and outside of the gym. He doesn't just motivate you when it comes to fitness goals, but also life goals. Working with him, I became stronger physically and mentally, and he was my biggest cheerleader through all of the life changes I made--he even gave me the pep talk that I needed to agree to going out with my now husband for the first time!

If you are looking for a personal trainer who truly cares about you and wants you to be successful in all aspects of your life, look no further--Errick is the one for you!

I didn’t know I could be an “athlete” until I started training with Errick! Is it tough? Yes. But doable? Absolutely. Errick will give you his undivided attention and incomparable expertise and all you have to do is follow what he says and you will see results. Errick helps create a foundation and good habits that I’ve been now able to maintain on my own. I’m a significantly stronger, lighter, and more self confident 45 year old woman because of him! He earned every one of these 5 stars and more!
