About the Club

Mindful Movement DC provides private strength training, semi-private strength training, yoga, group strength & conditioning classes, and TRX classes. The owner, Rachel Morrison, guides people towards better holistic health by teaching them to connect to their bodies through movement and live healthier lives. Mindful Movement DC's mission is to create and support a community of individuals who value feeling healthy in body, mind and spirit- one that is diverse and inclusive of all races, genders, nationalities and religions. She believes in the importance of both goal driven strength & cardiovascular training and movement for movement’s sake—to increase awareness and enhance the ability to fully experience the present moment.

This yoga studio is a wonderful addition to Adams Morgan. Ive been to so many DC yoga studios and was thrilled when Rachel opened her own location. Rachel is an intuitive teacher who combines multiple styles to create her flow classes; the end result is magical as you leave class feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Rachel is an OUTSTANDING yoga instructor! I attended one of her retreats this weekend and the mediation sessions as well as the yoga instruction was fantastic! I came out feeling very refreshed, well stretched and had an excellent work out. She personalizes the yoga to meet each person in her class where they are. I cannot highly recommend her classes enough.
