Tbh don’t think it was worth the $50 price tag (which was the discounted price, it’s usually more expensive). it says on the website that the ticket comes with access to a drink cart? There was a water fountain in the studio, but that’s about it. Also the studio manager, which had grown out silver/purple hair with dark roots was unnecessarily rude and had bad vibes. We started class nearly 10 minutes late And then when we were one minute over she said “ok Well, we gave you all an extra minute, but it’s time to go see ya” As if we weren’t 10 minutes late as a result of her guidance waiting for other student students. You’re pretty much just paying $60 to play with some puppy mill dogs for like 20 minutes, you could literally adopt a dog from a shelter with that price or maybe use the money to donate to an animal shelter. I got to hold a dog for maybe three minutes total but overall I just wouldn’t recommend- I still don’t understand why it was so expensive. It was a mediocre yoga class, As if the teacher had watched a YouTube tutorial on yoga the day before

Such a fun experience! The yoga studio is on the 3rd floor above a coffee shop, and once you're up there the Puppies Yoga staff are so helpful. They helped my friend and I with a booking mixup and were very kind about my mistake. And..puppies!! Definitely going to do this again!

I love puppy yoga! Staff is nice and puppies are adorable. Not as rigorous a yoga workout as at other studios since participants are wonderfully distracted by the puppies and want to keep the puppies safe. Lots of cuddle time after the yoga practice.

Fun experience with the cutest puppies. Only complaint is the class was supposed to start at 9am and end at 10:15. At 9am the instructor gave a 5-10 minute rule session. I thought that was why we were asked to get there 10 minutes early. But I assumed it was an off day and they’d extend the ending of our class to make up the lost time but that didnt happen. It would have been nice to get the full 75 minute class especially for how much it cost.

Puppies 10/10, yoga 3/10. But let's be honest - no one's there for the yoga! :). Fun few hours in the company of adorable puppies, as well as less adorable puppy accidents. (They do a decent job of cleaning up as they go, but definitely not for germaphobes.) And felt a little overpriced for what it was, basically an hour of puppy playtime where you're offered the opportunity to buy the puppies afterwards.

Pro-tip -try to get mats in the front row, near the instructor, as that's where most of the puppies hang out (or at the least the time I was there). I felt bad for some of the folks in the back, who didn't get much attention from the puppies and were stuck doing mediocre stretching while hoping one of the pups would come their way.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in DC. Well run company and the puppies speak for themselves. Can wait to come back.

Hi there,

I wanted to share feedback about our recent puppy yoga experience, which unfortunately felt misleading and poorly managed from start to finish.

My partner and I arrived 20 minutes early and were the first to the studio. We were told to wait in the lobby, only to be informed at class start time that waivers still needed to be completed. By the time we finished, the class had already started without us, the good mats were taken, and the puppies were being monopolized by others. We missed the beginning entirely.

The yoga itself was not as described. It consisted of light stretching with no flow, direction, or mindfulness—lasting only 30 minutes instead of the advertised 40. Loud music, squeaky floors, and distracted staff made it the least mindful yoga session I’ve ever attended. It was minimal stretching not yoga. The time was not the advertised time and the class started without us.

Additionally, we booked specifically because the Instagram post advertised Chow Chows for this event. That was the deciding factor for our purchase. When I politely asked about it, the response I received—“If you had read the Instagram, you’d know breeds are subject to change”—was unnecessarily defensive and dismissive. Regardless, customers should be notified in advance when the advertised breed changes, particularly when that’s central to your marketing and pricing. Otherwise, it constitutes misleading advertising. This experience felt careless and disingenuous.

Given the circumstances, including false advertising, a truncated class, and the unprofessional handling of the situation, I requested a refund. They sent a gift card that I will not use. I just want my money back and now to spare anyone else from this bad experience, too.

They will lie about the puppies you play with and don’t provide real yoga.
