I’ve been to the Cathedral Heights studio twice, so far. Both times, Matt was the instructor. Matt is amazing! His presence is simultaneously gentle and strong. He holds space very well, and offers effective hands-on assists. I do like that at the beginning of class, he asks if anyone does not want assists. Great playlist, too.
The studio is clean, welcoming, and I love that there are showers. Parking is no problem at all, because they validate garage parking for up to 90 minutes. All in all, I’ve had very positive experiences at this studio, and I love the vibe of this place.

A hot yoga studio worth your time! Took a class with instructor Marcus and it was just what I needed. The atmosphere, warm welcome and clean studio is just the beginning. Class was great, it pushed you to challenge yourself while also being a safe space. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience, and will be back to take more classes!

Great vibes all around. Welcoming. Not cliquey and weird. All levels and experiences welcomed. It always feels like a breath of fresh air to walk into this studio. The classes are challenging and straight to the point. BURN is such a fun addition to my yoga routine. This studio is 10/10.

SO pumped PureFire just opened up a location in Cathedral Heights! Easily the best hot yoga experience I’ve ever had but they only had a location in Bethesda until recently. The class is next level, best of the best. You’ll leave feeling like a new person. Plus, the location and surrounding shops and restaurants make it the perfect morning/after work routine!

Just rocked a hot yoga class at PureFire with Chase with my daughter, and I loved it. The studio is clean and welcoming. Sydney warmly invited the guests and even wrote a personal note for my first class. Bathrooms are sparkling and showers are available. Chase worked us through a challenging, but supportive flow of yoga and core work. The heat felt good and not overwhelming. Check this place out. Lots of great restaurants to hit up after working up a sweat.

The best yoga and burn classes in the DMV! Marcus, Nicole and their teams are amazing instructors. The classes are welcoming but always challenging. I am constantly surprised that there is any room in the classes because they are so great. The studio is beautiful and new and parking is easy.

I have definitely found a gem in PureFire! I alternate and add a few of the Power Yoga classes in to the rotation, but my favorite is the burn class!! Mat sculpt class with weights, bands etc which is the perfect compliment to my cardio schedule. I already feel stronger after going consistently for 2 weeks. Some of the instructions also sprinkle in a few yoga movements for an added stretching element which I love. Oh and the best part….ITS HEATED. Nicole is fabulous and I love Marcus’ music and supportive commentary throughout. Parking is validated and they give you a freezing cold eucalyptus towel after class which is divine!

Purefire is the BEST yoga studio with the most incredible teachers - shoutout Marcus, Chase, and Jenny!!! They also have amazing customer service - when I got food poisoning during my 2 weeks unlimited they gave me free classes to make up for the missed time. This studio opening in cathedral commons has been one of the highlights of my summer and I can’t recommend it enough.

Great new yoga studio! Power Flow with Heather is fabulous, high-intensity vinyasa class. I’ve found some hot studios have more of a “work out” feel, but this feels like a traditional yoga studio. The heat helps you center quickly and get into the flow. I highly recommend!

Beautiful space with amazing instructors and classes! I've taken Power Flow, Power 2.0, and Burn - all were approachable while challenging me (so worth it)!! Excited for my next class! :)

This is a great studio! I had to get used to the heat again (it's been a while since I've practiced in a hot room) but it's been well worth it. The sequences are strong and follow the rules of a good power or flow class. I can't speak to the Burn classes. Some things I love about the new space is the sense of connection they are building; instructors I've had have put effort into learning my name and helping me through the class with a tweak or verbal adjustment. This has felt very positive. Also, the music is fun. The instructors seem to pick their own playlists, which has been a joy during my classes. I'm looking forward to more offerings going online this fall.

The studio staff has an approachable vibe. The studio is clean and has everything you need for a successful class. The flow was traditional and intense but not overwhelmingly so, I really appreciated the core burner at the end. This was one of the best hot experiences I’ve had in the city, I can’t wait for my next class.

A fabulous addition to the workout community in Cathedral Commons. The studio itself is beautiful (clean, airy, and has showers!) and the team has been so welcoming, inspiring and lovely to the core. I have taken advantage of the new client special - which is a great way to try different classes/instructors. I will be incorporating PureFire Yoga in my weekly workout routine!
