200 classes in and I don’t know what I would do without H street Solidcore in my life. The best investment I’ve ever made in myself.

Took my first class today! Literally had no idea what I was getting into, but the instructor was welcoming and made the class accessible for first timers. Super helpful cues and modifications. I’ll be back!

Came to this studio for the first time yesterday! It’s such a great overall workout and it’s a fun vibe. I took a class with Khayla, she was super welcoming and was helpful with modifications. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good full body workout and a fun environment

I’m coming up on my 1 year solidcore anniversary (100+ classes later) and cannot thank H Street enough for making my experience so wonderful!!! All of the coaches have been fantastic - especially Kristina, Mekia, and Almarie. Whether you’re a beginner or have taken 200+ classes, you’ll feel comfortable and welcomed! The facility is very clean and unlike some of the other locations, I always find parking, no problem.

I’ve been coming to the studio for ~5 months and was hooked after the 2-weeks unlimited! I’ve taken several different instructors and none of them disappoint…they push and motivate for you to go YOUR hardest the full 50 (or 65) minutes. I’m seeing the difference in my body, strength, and endurance which is great. I would recommend giving the studio/solidcore to anyone, with the note that it’s not for the faint of heart!

Jessika Banks is the best coach ever! I was super nervous for my first class but she was so patient and encouraging. She even encouraged the group to clap for me at the end of class.

Absolutely love this place! I have a joint condition and it’s hard to find workouts I can safely do that really challenge me and build muscle. Solidcore does exactly that! The instructors are fabulous and provide different modifications/amplifications, so it’s great for all levels. Highly recommend!

I have been trying to communicate via email and phone regarding a pass I bought and it is hard to get a response from them. I would really like to try the studio out but no one is responding. Also, their website could use some major work.

Such an amazing and addictive workout! Never worked my muscles harder. Slowing down movements to dig deeper into the muscles to find the shakes and to build discipline! Every coach at H street is so welcoming especially the head coach, Laur! No need to feel intimidated, every new thing is hard but is so rewarding when you finally catch the hang of it. But if you’re still worried about being new, definitely recommend trying a foundations class as your first class.

10/10 recommend. I’ve been a client for about two years and as a fitness instructor myself, H really builds a fitness community. The coaches take the time to get to know you - and push you. If you’re a first time client or a beginner, show up early, and take foundations. It takes a few classes to get the hang of, but once you do, you’ll be hooked.

All around great studio! Solidcore h street balances having tough but fun coaches with its personalized attention in a *super* effective workout. I’ve never been bored in a class (which I can’t say about all group fitness) and it’s the perfect low impact class without losing any intensity. Would recommend to anyone :)

My roommate belonged to solidcore so I decided to take my first class with her in July. Instantly, I fell in love. Immediately, I signed up for the two week trial because I was trying to see if I could fit it into my budget. From there I decided that I couldn’t go on without it. The team here really cares and I’ve become the best version of myself because of it. Life has its ups and downs but I know when I take a solidcore class no matter what I am facing it makes my day that much better. I am biased to H street, but I’ve been to other studios and this is by far my favorite. Laura makes great effort to have a great community space, while the instructors (shoutout Nolen, Tara and Alyse) push me to my strongest but also reward my accomplishments. Somehow wherever I go solidcore comes up in conversation and I can’t wait to talk about this great family!

I LOVE it here! The coaches are so knowledgeable and friendly. They push you to be your best while making you feel comfortable. They celebrate your progress and make the classes so fun. The workout itself is amazing too- I look forward to the shakes every class.

I didn’t know what to expect at solidcore, especially getting back to fitness postpartum and after a pandemic hiatus. I’d never done a Pilates or reformer class and was pleasantly surprised at my first class by just how challenging it was as a whole-body workout! I’ve been going pretty regularly since- the coaches are very knowledgeable & positive, and they’ve helped me a lot with my form and modifications now that I’m again pregnant. I haven’t had difficulty finding an open class at the H St. studio that fits my schedule.

Be prepared to sweat (bring a towel!) and push yourself. It’s a great workout and I started to notice so much more strength and stability just from a few classes!

Solidcore has been a staple in my workout routine since they opened their first studio in DC, but I honestly never went regularly to one studio until H street opened. The community there is unreal-- everyone is a friggin badass, so supportive, and pushes each other yet honors where everyone is goals- and fitness-wise. The workout itself has made a huge positive impact on my fitness, improving my durability and strength for my endurance running. I love that I can trust the coaches (especially Laur!) to take me through a challenging, well-rounded workout each and every time I step foot inside and that my only job during those 50 minutes is to put in my best effort on that day.

This is probably the hardest workout class I’ve ever done and I’m hooked. All the instructors are super cool and not intimidating. The atmosphere is dark and minimalist with a loud playlist so I can get all the way out of my head and just focus on the moves.

I started at solidcore on H St a couple of months ago, and it’s safe to say I’m addicted! The coaches and members all have great energy, and the workout is challenging but super rewarding, especially when you’re able to see the progress you’ve made. I would encourage everyone in the area to give at least one class a try!

Best workout on H Street! Love getting this 50-minute workout in either before or after work. Extremely welcoming atmosphere to both men and women, clean spaces, and the choice to take class with/ without masks (including mask mandatory classes). I’ve done traditional gyms and workout classes, but SC on H really elevates the health experience. Highly recommend checking it out!

Coaches provide individual feedback while being encouraging. Classes can be crowded. I find solidcore classes to be worthwhile, as I can I’m making progress from class to class.

I just started solid core at the end of September as a guest to a friend.... and jeez! what an amazing workout. I have been back almost everyday ever since. The instructors are all amazing and unique in their own way. The classes are 50 minute (except for the super solids) muscle failure based classes. I am already on a monthly membership. Get ready to get sore, and for your core to be rocked! I am usually not a morning person, but these classes can reshape your morning or lunch routine! Highly recommend!

It was a horrible first experience. I reached there 15 minutes early as instructed but the instructor started the class late. They did not introduce us to the machine at all and just started the workout with no guidance whatsoever. They barely come around to help you with the workouts during the 50 minute time so I felt like I was just on my own throughout. I tried to look at other people around me but I was never sure of the correct form and the instructor barely helped. Overall would not be returning to this instructor for sure. Might consider trying with a different instructor but generally very put off by the whole experience. This whole 50 minute definitely seemed like a waste in terms of a workout.
