Plenty of machines, good hot showers, & a hot tub- which was disappointing because it was broken for 2 & a half weeks! Usually works. Also sauna & steam room & pool.

Compared to other locations, this 24hour fitness is not up to the task. The dumbbells always disorganized, more trash containers are needed, and paper towels seemed to be on the short side.

Great gym! Clean and spacious. Trainers are very helpful and knowledgeable especially Joan. She is a fantastic trainer. Asks questions to understand what your needs and limitations are and customizes your program, with great results.

I've been a member of 24 Hour Fitness in Tamarac since October 2019, and it has been a great experience since the first day. I was looking for the best gym with the best personal trainers to help me reach my goals according to health and losing those extra pounds. The staff was welcoming, friendly, very helpful which made me feel at home. Krista and Angel offered me the best workout plan and of course, I had the BEST personal trainer they could ever assigned me " Matthew Held ". We scheduled several sessions and set goals and I am amazed on how fast I see results and changes on my body. This guy is amazing!!! I personally recommend him but you got to follow his instructions though if you want a see good results.
I can't forget to mention how good they have taken care of our children at the Kid's Club while I am working on myself, Norma, Lucious, Megan are all adorable as well!
This place is clean and it has everything you need...

I was a former member of the Atlantic Avenue location. Since they closed it down this is the closest to my home but they want to charge me double monthly for amenities I likely won't be using. I brought that up with the salesman and he repeatedly asked me where I worked in a condescending tone. I guess this is their new tactic to weed people out whom they assume can't pay. The facility is overhyped. Nothing other gyms don't offer for less. I'll pass.

Coral Springs is the best location!
Tamarac the guys in there aren’t so brilliant
I sign up for a three day pass ( MY girlfriend and I )
We go check it out on JUNE 3rd 2019 walk in everything seems fine . Walking towards my way to the basketball court . And this was more or less seeing around the gym to see what we will be paying for . I pretty much get a tap on the shoulder of some guy name Alex don’t know if he’s a manager .
But says that my girlfriend is not allowed in the gym or pretty much on the premises . For the reason of not having at the moment a state ID. But we have a federal passport! What sense does that make ??
Where In the USA they do not except a federal ID .
Has to be the worst experience and waste of time at 24Hr fitness in Tamarac .

And I’m also waiting for the reply for them to say to show proof that you live in the area . Keep in mind I had my drivers license . And my girlfriend had a passport !
It’s the way they went about it it was no question ask it was you must get off The property ..
My car was parked outside fully paid off could of ask for my car note I live two blocks away a copy of my lease I had my drivers license the issue wasn’t me it was my girlfriend passport my girlfriend also lives with me we can show proof that we live in the area .

Pool has been dirty for 2 days! Cloudy and smells like urine. I tried to swim laps yesterday and I couldn't see my feet standing in the 3 foot end. I complained last and I was told it would be cleaned today. I called today and the guy at the front desk told me he didn't know nor did he walk back there today. Great facility and new equipment, however it is not being maintained very well. Men's locker room is usually messy and not checked on a regular basis. The swim suite water extractor smells like rotten eggs. I might cancel my membership if the management dosen't get their act together.

While the location is new and still looks clean, there's definitely some issues..

the classes are absolutely horrible. Specifically the Zumba classes, they need to replace all of the instructors. Most of them are not even doing Zumba... Zumba instructors only need to take 1 (8 hour) course and they receive a certificate.. so obviously not everyone with a certificate is good...

Additionally, the basketball court is a sad little half court..

The managers & sales people seem too young and inexperienced, which could have something to do with how much 24 hour fitness actually pays people... the sense of customer service is not good... I just don't recommend this location, they're new and have a lot of growing to do, professionally.

This place is really neat and clean. The staff always speaks and is willing to assist in whatever they can help with. Karissa also is very helpful. After worrying about my membership being lost due to the closing of Coral Springs, she was able to get me back on track. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to join a gym with a family atmosphere.

I trained at the Coral Springs location before it closed and decided to transfer over to Tamarac. I absolutely love it! The equipment is fantastic and new and the squat racks are awesome. I started with my trainer, Luisa Dominguez, 8 months ago and absolutely love her! She’s been a huge inspiration for me and is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. If you are looking to improve your health, body, and overall wellbeing, she’s great!

Luisa is the best personal trainer. She has been my personal trainer since May 2018. During this period of time, I have come to admire Luisa for her passion about fitness training and nutrition. Her workout plans are very organized, she motivates me to keep on task, she’s extremely knowledgeable about what training best fits my needs and, changes my fitness plans as needed to help me reach my goals.

Clean gym of course. But each time we have come 25 minutes to try a new instructor at this new gym and the radio is not working, they start working on it 5 minutes b4 class starts. Each time they finally get things done and start class late. First experience the instructors phone was our music as the radio didn't work. Seriously, the kinks should be worked out by now. Not set up the bike after getting the radio fixed at 6:34 tell us to start with warm up and not ready to teach. 20 year veteran.

I trained with Luisa Dominguez. After discussing my goals with her she took the challenge. I am recovering from after affects of surgery. She got my strength and balance back in no time. My strength training was excellent along with the cardio. Her knowledge met all expectations. I miss our workouts.

I had the opportunity to train with Luisa Dominguez. She is professional, flexible, and a highly experienced trainer. She provided variety to our workouts. Not only did we cross train with various HITTs, we also incorporated weight training that enhanced my toning and definition. Not to mention, she met me at 6:00 am to train before I went to work, which was much appreciated. She's an asset to the 24 hour fitness team.

I went there at 11pm with a 3days pass to use the Gym.the front desk guy didn’t let me get in because the sales Dep was closed, although I mentioned that i drove 30minutes to get there and there is no note saying that I cannot use my 3days pass at 11pm!!!! He didn’t let me get in!

I’ve been a member since 2006 and I signed up at a “regular “ gym for access of ALL 24hr gyms.... so I thought!!!! They started building these “super sport” gyms and deny old members access. ITS ALMOST A FORM OF SEGREGATION!!!! They were rude at the front desk (except for Luis) and told me I had to upgrade for 40 a month or keep it movin!!!! I was embarrassed and disappointed. I will continue to press corporate and expose 24hr on social media for being GREEDY FOR MONEY AND NOT REALLY BEING INTO THE BUSINESS OF WELLNESS!!!
