I truly love ACE Gymnastics! My son is attending their summer camp and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff is always friendly, supportive, and professional. They have been amazing with my son, especially James, Victoria, Sam, Mia, and Keely. I truly can't say enough about Lenee! She is so awesome! My son just loves her and he loves being at ACE. Thank you ACE Gymnastics!

I took my 3 kids there for summer camp and I’m so glad I did! They definitely care about the safety and growth of the kids. We will be putting all three of them in the after school program and rec classes.
Ms. Sam has definitely won the hearts of our kids. When they found outshe was one of the teachers for after school program, they literally screamed! When faced with challenging times, she guides and corrects them lovingly and ALWAYS has a smile on her face. It eases me to know that someone like her is watching my kids.
ACE is usually part of their “favorite part of the day” and is definitely worth the investment. It’s special seeing them love and grow because of ACE

Very disappointed with how my daughter’s make-up class was handled this morning. She’s only three years old, and we showed up on time for a class that they scheduled only to be told she couldn’t join because of a mistake they made with the schedule.
Instead of working something out or showing any care, they handed my toddler her water cup and told her to go find her mom. No explanation, no empathy just dismissed like she didn’t matter. She was excited to be there, and they completely ruined that moment for her.
Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was incredibly rude and unprofessional. As a parent, watching your child be turned away and confused like that is heartbreaking. We expected better from a place that’s supposed to be built around children.

We signed our kid for two weeks of camp since she enjoyed the open gym nights. Went for 3 days, wouldn’t go back. She seemed pretty upset when I picked her up the last (3) day, wouldn’t tell me why. No called to ask why we never came back, or even asked where she went. A few weeks later she eluded to the people running it being “a bit too much”. Just seemed like a mostly apathetic group overall. During a June heat wave 97+, I noticed they still put the kids out on the playground until pickup. Potential to be a great place, but seems a bit unorganized.

I’m pretty disappointed with the experience that I had here being that I signed my son up who is 4, way before summer even started. Now I know my child isn’t the perfect child but he definitely is behaved for a younger four-year-old. When I signed him up the coaches, I should say didn’t seem very welcoming, but I decided to go through with it anyways because their advertisement looked pretty fun. For the first week, my son came home and said that there was a couple of mean kids there and he didn’t make very many friends & That it was boring… He went to a different gym for VPK, he was exhausted after playing there all day, but when I picked him up, he was still ready to go for a few more hours. Moving forward, getting incident reports giving me a warning…. My four year old wasn’t listening. They just kicked out another little girl for having a screaming episode that same day. I asked him to tell me why he wasn’t listening to his teacher, and he said that they were just screaming at him and I assumed it was because they are coaches and not necessarily teachers. So the last incident report, he said He didn’t hear her. I tried to speak to one of the head coaches there. I guess you can say.. and try to work something out because I paid $100 for him to experience field trips. He only got to go to 1 and apparently I don’t get refunded for the rest…. I’m looking to dispute that charge. I don’t remember any paperwork saying that they don’t refund the field trips if a child withdraws from the school. She basically pushed me and said she would take him off of the school roll for the following week even after I said no its okay, I’ll see how he does this next week. Anyways, he started Jujutsu today right up the street and has had a much better experience!

All gymnastics places have their pros and cons, but Ace needs A LOT of improvement. Coaches could use reminders that success isn’t paved in tears. Communication is lacking. Encouragement, high fives, smiles, positivity are not part of their methodology.
Skill is basic without places to grow. Team scores well because they play it safe by doing just what is needed and nothing more. Gymnasts aren’t allowed to do any step up skills or try new things. Punishment is used for failure. If they mess up, they are told to stop trying. Health issues ignored. Meetings and parental concerns fall on deaf ears and yield no changes. Listen to your families when they share their concerns.
No place is without drama but avoid this place if you believe in positive coaching.

It is obvious that the quality of coaching and management within the recent years have been declined dramatically.
There has been a noticeable deterioration in the standards set by both the coaches and the management team. This decline is impacting the overall quality of instruction and support provided to the kids.

I regret to say that my experience with Coach Dana as a gymnastics coach has been extremely disappointing. Despite numerous attempts to address her rudeness, it seems to persist, greatly affecting my daughter overall enjoyment of the sport.
Her communication was often curt and dismissive, making it difficult for my daughter to feel comfortable asking questions or seeking clarification on techniques. Instead of fostering a supportive and encouraging environment, she frequently belittled her efforts.

UPDATE: 1/18/2024: We have not been attending for two months and my child has been disease free despite attending another facility for classes. That facility is respectful of each child and their development and takes cleanliness seriously. 💅
After speaking to them via email and reading their response here I whole heartedly do not recommend them due to their lack of integrity as a business and compassion as human beings. Not worth it. Run. There are so many other local organizations you can support that care about the health and well being of your children and do much better jobs. Even my son noticed this about another facility we attended and said, "The kids were never sick and it's so clean and smells nice."
I don't know if they lack empathy or are not parents themselves. When someone says their child has been sick over a month due to the uncleanliness and allowance of sick children in their facility it should bring up the images of a mother and child having to stay up countless nights to support their child as well as many doctor visits. Natural human decency wouldn't wish that on anyone and would show more compassion and empathy.
Just DO BETTER. Definitely better than simply stating "however parents unfortunately will do as they wish." It is your job as a business to establish and hold boundaries. You are not able to do this regarding this, but can clearly do it when it comes to taking money for unrendered services due to company policy.
And to be clear. Parents aren't just doing whatever they want. Boundaries have not been placed and they have not been held. That's how it works.
Original Review: I don't typically ever write negative reviews. I find them to be a waste of time and prefer to write positive business reviews for outstanding businesses.
However, as a parent you may want to know this. I had my son enrolled in the toddler class. I would frequently see kids with mucus running down their nose and be allowed into the class. Honestly the first time I saw it, I should have grabbed my kid and left. It isn't ACE's fault. It is the fault of the parents to think it is okay to take their child into public spaces when mucus is profusely running out of their nose.
However, it is the job of a business to set up boundaries and hold them. I brought up this concern with them after having my son be continuously sick over a month. He does not attend daycare. He would go into class and by 1-2 days exhibit the signs of a sickness. By the beginning of the following week he would be feeling better and in recovery so I would take him to class only to have the process begin all over again.
I explained that I cannot have my child sick all the time and inquired about their hygiene practices. After having that discussion it was determined they feel they have done everything within their power to keep the children healthy. Due to that I stated how I will have to take my son out because I cannot continue to have him get sick.
They acted as if they were doing me a favor because they have a 30 day cancellation policy. There is no favor. I have already paid them in advance and my son will not be attending the three weeks we have left of this month. And he will not be able to take those classes at a later time according to them. Where is the favor?
I am writing this review due to the lack of professionalism and compassion. I have had to have this exact same discussion with another business and they took full responsibility and took steps to correct the problem.
A conversation can always be had. I even stated how we would take a break for him to recuperate after being sick so long and come back later. There is no open door left now after being told the above.
On the pros: My son did enjoy his time there and has always loved his instructors and was looking forward to coming back after a break.
✨I also don't think this is a problem with the older students as older kids tend to be better about grabbing a tissue and covering their mouths.
This review is a reflection of my personal experience with them.

"I can't speak highly enough about this gym! My daughter's decision to continue training here speaks volumes about the amazing quality of the facility and the exceptional coaching she receives. The dedication and passion of the coaches and teachers are truly top-notch.
I wholeheartedly recommend this gym to any parent looking to enroll their child in gymnastics. The unwavering loyalty my daughter has shown proves that every penny is worth it for the remarkable experience and personal growth she has achieved here. From the state-of-the-art equipment to the supportive and nurturing environment, this gym has surpassed all our expectations. We couldn't be happier with the progress our daughter has made and the positive impact it has had on her overall well-being.
By the way, the after care staff are the best!!!

Don't participate in their parent's night out, especially if you're not a member. They present it as space being limited but really it's a marketing scheme to get your money. They'll remove your children's name off the list but will not issue you a refund.

My fiancé and I decided to have our son’s 3rd birthday party at ACE Gymnastics and it was definitely the best decision we could have made!! The team at ACE was so professional and productive. The party ranged in ages from 18months-12 years old so I was originally worried about activities but it was awesome. The staff and coaches kept the entire party entertained and engaged. All the parents were so amazed by how smoothly things went and how personalized the party felt for my 3 year old. We are so grateful and will definitely do some drop in classes! We loved it! Thank you Keely and Andrew for making our son’s day special and for the exceptional planning to make the day go perfectly.

Some coaches connect with younger kids better. Our current coach Lexi show’s favorites. Either way my son will be 4 and is on the spectrum and this is a great outlet for him and it has helped his balance and coordination so much. Note to add: my son has no behavioral differences or is destructive. I am also thankful that he communicates very closely to his peers without meltdowns. So there’s no clear reason why he and other kids aren’t treated as good but it’s just this teachers style. We love the facility and the front desk is very sweet.

Had to come and change my rating from my previous daughter. The staff was unkind and dismissive, our daughter had an incident and refused to return. Something happened with my 5 year old during her 2nd day of of summer camp that caused her so much distress she didn't want to return. She screamed and cried and refused to go, she has done camps before. The staff was unhelpful and unkind and even though we got the paperwork the week before and met the staff, they still charged us as a "walkin" even though it was planned. We will not reccomend them over Orlando Metro Gymnastics any longer.

My son and daughter started here just by going to Friday night open gym( 2nd and 4th Friday of every month). My son loves the games with coaches and all the equipment, especially the trampoline and foam block pits. They bring their friends now. 10$ for 2 hours is a bargain and for a couple dollars more they can get pizza. We never miss. My 8 year daughter now takes classes here. It's clean and they really help and supervise the kids. We've tried other gyms, this is the one. It's affordable and awesome. I love Elise. Your kids will beg to come here. Great exercise no matter what level or experience they have. Every kid is welcome. Parents night out is a blast. Definitely come here. Cheaper than almost every other play place in town.

Our daughter, Hannah is a compulsory team gymnast at Ace. She has flourished under the direction of her coaches, whom I trust completely with her when she is in the gym. The coaching staff is exceptional. They provide positive reinforcement and encourage our child to always do her best. She considers her coaches and teammates her "family" and looks forward to practices and meet season. I rarely write reviews but felt that it was important to acknowledge the coaching staff at Ace because they are simply fantastic. Thank you, Maureen and Mark Ruble

As a coach (basketball), I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the coaches and staff at Ace Gymnastics. The coaches bring the perfect balance of sternly pushing athletes with a positive, encouraging approach. The staff show a genuine care for the families this gym serves. Upon meeting the owners of Ace, you immediately know that the culture and feel of Ace stems directly from who they are as people.
We have been involved with 3 other gyms in the Orlando area. NONE OF THEM compare. Over the last few weeks especially, the passion and skill level our daughter has exhibited has surged. When the owner, an Olympic gymnast in her own right, approached my daughter after an individual lesson, gave my daughter a hug and some words of encouragement, my daughter beamed with excitement, shocked that she knew and cared about who she was. She felt so much value, and it gave her so much more confidence.
Having an owner of a gym takes such a personal interest in their gymnasts is very unique. I appreciated that. It’s something our daughter has not gotten before. I wouldn’t want my daughter’s gymnastics career in anyone else’s hands. Ace is the real deal.

My daughtet went to ACE gymnastics from the age of 5 to 13 and competed pre-team though Level 8. Ray and Joan and the entire staff at ACE were like our second family. They are excellent at developing gymnastics skills and treat all the kids and parents with respect. The love of the sport has continued to benefit my daughter into adulthood as she still makes fitness a priority, getting ready to run her 5th full marathon this fall. If you are looking for a place for your kid to have fun, or looking for serious competitive training, ACE gymnastics could not be a better choice!

The cost monthly is basically insanely low. If you don't at least check this place out you're doing your kids and your bank account a disservice. Much love to everyone here!

The coaches and staff Live up to their name; they’re Ace! One of the smoothest transitions I have ever seen which considering the number of gymnasts, coaches, events and activities must not have been an easy task. Within just a few days everything was in order and well organized, we were a little lost until the new management was able to talk to us but the moment they stepped in we knew everything was going to be okay, love the big sister, little sister program they put in place and the focus on excellence whilst keeping it fun; a hard balance for every sport. The feel is less commercial than the previous management, feels more like a family run gym and to me that’s a good thing.

Fantastic gym! My daughter recently joined the team(training level 9) and has felt both wanted and accepted by the owners and coaches. Everyone greets us with a warm welcome each time we come to the gym. The coaching staff, Mikara, Barrick,Rosie, led by Ray and Joan really know what they are doing! They are leaders and know how to train all ages and levels of gymnasts. During workouts they each have their own style of encouragement and know how to motivate the gymnasts to get the very best results. You can see the individualized attention that all gymnasts receive - from beginners in summer camps and rec classes all the way to the highest levels of competitive team. We look forward to the season and helping our daughter achieve her collegiate goals.
The gym is extremely clean, great equipment, and you can tell the coaches are concerned with safety first. We researched several gyms before coming to ACE and couldn’t be happier. Way to go ACE, the name says it all!

This place is a mess. I personally saw disorganization, unsafe practices, and excessively high prices compared to competition. There are many other options around town. I would check those out. Their identity crisis between being ACE, being gymnastics USA, and being ACE again just compounds the issues.
