AcroFit was created from a study of Acrobatics, Yoga, calisthenics, martial arts, dance, inversions, movement, and balance training. When combined with each other it not only creates the ultimate fitness platform but you will also have the time of your life doing it.
AcroFit was also created so EVERYONE can participate. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, all ages, shapes, and sizes are welcome. Whether it’s your first day of training or you already have a background we would love to help you reach your goals.

I first discovered the amazing instructors from this yoga studio during a free yoga class at Riverside Park — it was taught so well that I immediately wanted to learn more about their studio. With my busy work schedule, it took me a while to finally make it in for a class, but I’m so glad I did!
I joined their handstand class, and it was incredible! The instructors were warm, welcoming, and super supportive — they broke everything down in a way that made it easy to learn and fun to practice. You can really feel how passionate they are about helping everyone improve and feel confident, no matter their level.
They’ve built such a positive, uplifting community here, and the energy in the room was contagious. On top of that, the prices are amazing for the quality of instruction you get.
If you’re looking for a place that offers Acro Yoga, handstand training, and all kinds of creative yoga classes in a friendly and encouraging environment, this is the spot. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is great! I did a hand stand class here with Julia as the instructor and she showed me some great pointers and took us through a great handstand training workout, I learned alot of things. The place was really nice in side high ceilings and go air flow and was a very nice experience. I am adding this to mu #movementmaps

John is the perfect trainer for me. I'm getting married soon, and my fiance wants to have a first dance. However, I had a knee injury which made it difficult to perform sudden moments and lifts. John built a program for me that strengthened my knee and over time I learned to trust my movements more. The program acknowledged my weakness and gradually increased the exercises needed to build strength again. I have my First Dance in a few days, and I could not be more confident and amazed by how far I've come. I owe it to John. He's amazing, and I wouldn't be where I am today without him.

Acro Fit is a great place for anyone looking to build strength, flexibility, and confidence. It has easily become one of my favorite places to be when I’m off work! John and Julia bring an incredible energy to every class, working seamlessly together to create a fun and motivating environment. If you’re interested in trying acro but a little intimidated, these are your people and this is your chance! Their passion for acro and fitness is contagious and their ability to break down complex moves/stunts makes learning both accessible and exciting.
My husband and I love the partner work involved in the Acro Yoga classes. It’s been such a fun way to grow our communication and connection, while also helping us build our strength, coordination, and balance. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, you’ll feel challenged and supported every step of the way. Our kids did their summer camp and loved it! Coach Jules and John are super kind and gave the kids good direction on how to care for their bodies before, during and after exercise. Fun activities for active kids too!

I have worked out personally with John he is excellent with weight loss and meal planning. All his staff including his wife Julia are very helpful and supportive. If you're looking to get in shape, eat healthy, etc.. try them out you will not be disappointed. In the summer they have a summer camp for kids too!

Hello,
So here is my review!! I love ,love ,love going to acrofit!! Especially since I don’t like many things. The instructors are very friendly and try their best to create a community type environment and the people that attend respond well to it including myself. I was a bit shy about being lifted and all but I found that while hid away from the acro classes the other classes on movement and handstands made me feel better about taking on the acro class. It low key prepped me for the acrobatic part. Give it a shot !!

Working with Julia as my personal trainer in my home has been a great experience. I feel the mobility and strength coming back 11 month’s postpartum. I can feel strength and balance in my ankles, hips and glutes. I would highly recommend checking out the brick and mortar Acro Fit Yoga in Springfield as they have more than just Acro - they have lots of options for everyone looking for balance and strength.

We have had the pleasure of knowing Julia for 6 years when we met her as our middle daughter's preschool teacher and met John later that year too. John and Julia are a fantastic team who are passionate about health, fitness, acroyoga, setting goals, and achieving new heights. John and Julia are great with kids and make learning new things fun. I highly recommend Julia and John at Acrofit. We did a private acro session for a date night. They took us through a partner warmup, worked on some acro drills and skills. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, they have the ability to meet you where you are. Julia and John offered a highly professional environment w a playful vibe. I've been working out with Acro Fit for years now. I have so much strength it's incredible. The personal training is precise and strengthens those muscles that matter. I've lost weight, but all the mobility I've gotten is incredible. They' also have acro yoga classes and other acrobatics arts classes! They're incredible!

AcroFit is incredible! The instructors are brilliant. They are great at yoga and acro yoga, but they are also amazing personal trainers and have helped me lose 25 lbs since COVID. They are incredibly nice, insightful, knowledgeable, and they can train you to get a perfect handstand! I highly recommend them!!!

I had the please of attending their Movement Monday class and oh my goodness. John is such amazing instructor!! He guided us through exercises and movements that helped me understand the space around me better and feel more confident in the way that I move and dance. After an hour (which flew by) we ended the session with natural movement to music which put me in a surreal flow state. I can’t wait to come back for their upcoming classes :)

I’ve been working with John on functional rehab following back surgery and significant loss of function to one leg. He is a true master with designing safe effective workouts that are getting me back to my baseline. I’ve made more improvements working with him that I made in physical therapy. The scope of his practice covers so many areas of fitness. If you’re looking for a trainer - there isn’t a better one out there!! I can’t recommend him enough.

As an acrobat, when I lost the usual function of my shoulder due to injury I was devastated! I didn’t think I’d be able to move it in ways I had gotten used to ever again. Working with Julia during personal training the past year has helped me gain confidence and become more aware of what causes pain and what is healthy movement for my injury. 10/10 would recommend. If you want someone who will help nurture your goals and push you toward a healthy relationship with movement. This is the place and these are the people. 🩷🫶🏾

Though I was initially intimidated, I’ve been able to attend some classes at AcroFit and it’s been an enjoyable experience. I don’t feel shamed for my size or lack of flexibility, but instead I am encouraged to make the most of where I’m at now, while steadily trying to improve. I highly recommend it!

I’ve been to the Monday night Movement class twice now and it is SUCH AN EXPERIENCE! I cannot describe the physical and emotion effects it has on me. As a performer, it helps me get in touch with my body and learn how to move it. It’s so freeing for my soul and a decent work out. It’s a perfect class for Monday night. This is a great studio - the instructors are really knowledgeable and great at explaining what to do. They do a great job at scaling the difficulty so everyone can exercise effectively. This is definitely a useful and healthy way to exercise, and it is one of the best options in Jax for true functional training.
